갈대 서식 연안습지에서의 순복사와 토양열 플럭스 (Net Radiation and Soil Heat Fluxes Measured on Coastal Wetland Covered with Reeds)

  • In the coastal wetland the mud is consist of fine particles, which means that it is characterized by small gap, and heat transfer is obstructed since moisture is found between the gaps. The relationship between net radiation ($R_N$) and soil heat flux($H_G$) shows a counterclockwise hysteresis cycle, which refer to a time lag behind in the maximal soil heat fluxes. The albedo is independent of seasonal variation of the vegetation canopy which plays very important roles to store and control the heat in the atmospheric surface layer.

도심구간 하천에 서식하는 주요 식생의 서식 현황 (Vegetation Habitat at the Urban Region of Streams)

  • 최근 들어 도심구간의 하천에도 치수에 지장이 없는 범위 내에서는 적극적으로 수생식물의 식재를 장려하고 있다. 그러나 현재 도심구간의 하천에는 무분별하게 수생식물을 식재함으로써 홍수시 흐름의 강한 유속에 의해 수생식물이 훼손, 유실되고 있어 도심구간 하천의 식재 지침이 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 도심구간 하천의 식재 지침 수립을 위한 전 단계로서, 도심구간 하천에 서식하는 주요 수생식물을 선정하고 이들의 서식에 적합한 수리 특성을 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울의 양재천, 성북천, 탄천 및 중랑천을 대상으로 수생식물의 서식현황을 살펴보고, 흐름의 특성에 따른 거동 분석을 조사하여, 적정 서식 영역을 제시하였다. 조사 결과 도심구간 하천에 서식하는 적정 수종으로 달뿌리풀, 갈대, 물억새, 갯버들 등을 선정하였으며, 이들의 흐름에 대한 거동 분석을 위해 흐름의 수심, 유속, Froude수를 각 수종 및 성장도와 관련시켜 검토하였다.

갈대 및 가는갯능쟁이의 발아에 미치는 NaCl의 효과 (Effect of NaCl on Germination of Artiplex gmelini and Pharagmites communis)

  • The results of the conducted experiment obtained basic data on seed germination for Phragmites communis and Atriplex gmelini were; Seed germination was not influenced till 0.5% NaCl, but at over 1.0% NaCl it dropped remarkably. The germination limit fro degree of NaCl was 2.0% in Phragmites communis. Atriplex gemelini was 2.5% and in accordance with the increase of the degree of NaCl. Germination speed showed a negative correlation being highly significant and the germination period lengthened. Compared with growing top plants, growth of roots was largely influenced by a high degree of NaCl. In accordance with the rise of temperature, the germination rate, and speed of both plants remarkably increased and the germination period was shortened. Ubride of Atriplex gmelini was germinated at the early days of picking but was not as the passing of the period. The seeds also did not germinated likewise Ubride. By a seedcoat breaking germination became 81%. During 20 min soaking treatment in conc H2SO4 seed germination possibility of 63% was known to be hard. Adequate soaking time in conc H2SO4 was 17.5 min.

섬진강 하구 염습지 갈대군락의 생산성과 토양양분의 계절적 변화 (Seasonal Changes in the Productivity and Soil Nutrients of Phragmites communis Community in the Salt Marsh of the Sumjin-River Estuary)

  • Seasonal changes of the soil nutrient contents and aboveground biomass, relationship between the soil nutrients and the productivity, and the net efficiencies of solar energy conversion were studied in two reeed communities (Phragmites communis Trin.) at the salt marsh in the estuary of the Sumjin-River from April 30 to October 9, 1981. The inorganic nutrients such as exchangeable sodium and potassium of soil were decreased during growing season. The amounts of organic matter, exchangeable sodium and potassium, total nitrogen, and available phosphorus in stand $\prod$ were much more than those of stand $\coprod$ . Productivity of Phragmites communis was positively correlated with the soil nutrients such as available phosphorus, exchangeable potassium and total nitrogen. The maximum dry matter productions of the aboveground parts in stand $\prod$ stand $\coprod$ were $ 1, 120g/m^2; and; 843g/m^2$ in August, and the net coversion efficiencies of PhAR based on growing season (April to September) were 1.77% and 1.33%, respectively.

갈대속(Phragmites spp.)식물의 식생공법 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Planting Methods for Phragmites spp.)

  • Planting methods of seeding, seed net, sprig net and sprigging were evaluated for influence on the covering rate and the growth of Phragmites spp. The results were as follows. 1. Covering rate was high within 4 months when propagated by sprig net, seeding and sprigging but became same within 5 months afterwards regardless of Planting methods. 2. Growth of leaf height and width was high on vegetative types of Planting methods such as sprig net and sprigging when compared with on seed types of Planting methods such as seeding and seed net. 3. Sprig net showed good covering rate and growth than sprigging when compared within vegetative types of planting. 4. In this study, sprig net was figured out as the best type of Planting methods than any other types of Planting methods for the restoration of a shore vegetation in a urban stream.

낙동강 삼각주에 있어서 갈대 초지의 광차단, 생산구조 및 생산성 (Light Interception, Productive Structure and Production of the Phragmites communis Grassland in the Delta of Nakdong River)

  • 낙동강 삼각주에 있는 Phragmites communis 초지에서 광차단과 흡수, 생산구조의 계절적 변화, 생산성 현존량을 1982, 1983 그리고 1993년에 각각 조사했다. 황충화된 수피를 통과하는 빛은 S자형으로 감소한다. 한 식물의 누층적 앞면적은, 그 시기의 수피의 잎면적 생장과 같다. 잎 면적이 log식에 따라 자랄 때, 잎면적의 수직적 누층은 일반적인 역동식에 의해 계산된다. 잎면적의 최대생장률에서의 광차단식은 식(1)에 의해 생산구조는 윗부분은 광합성계에 의해, 아래부분은 비광합성계에 의해 차지되어진다. 그러므로, 광차 단의 패턴은 S자형에서 지수함수적 패턴으로 변하게 된다. P.communis의 지상부 현존량은 $3,3660g/m^2$이상이었고, 순 생산성은 $142g/m^2$이었다. 갈초지대의 년중 순 생산은 각각 4.10,4.25,$4.47kg/m^2$/year 이었고, 촤대면적 지수는 각각 4.10.3,11.0,10.4이엇다. 이 결과는 일만초지보다 매우 높은 값이었다.

  • Samples from the L, F, H and $A_1$ horizons of the Phragmites longivalvis grassland were collected in a delta of the Nakdong River and the removal rates of N, P, K, Ca and Na were investigated. The results obtained in this study can be abstracted as follows; The removal fractions of N, P, K, Ca and Na of the litter were 0.56, 1.22, 1.95, 0.65 and 0.53, respectively. The half times of N, P, K, Ca and Na required for the remove or accumulation of the litter on the grassland floor were 1.23, 0.57, 0.36, 1.06 and 1.32 years, respectively. The increasing order of the turnover parameters of the elements was Na, N, Ca, P and K.

  • An investigation was performed to reveal the removal rates of organic constituents of the litters in a Phragmithea longivalvis grassland in a Delta of the Nakdong River, The removal rates of the inorganic and organic materials are determined by the mathematical models. The removal rates and time required to decay up to a percentage of each organic constituent were calculated using these new models. The removal rates of cold water soluble fractions, other carbohydrates, hot water soluble fractions, cellulose, crude fat, lignin and crude protein were 2.67, 1.39, 1.25, 1.02, 0.92, 0.49 and 0.47, respectively, The periods required to reach half time to the steady state of the removal and accumulation for cold water soluble fractions, other carbohydrates, hot water soluble fractions, cellulose, crude fat, lignin and crude protein of the litter were 0.26, 0.50, 0.55, 0.68, 0.75, 1.41 and 1.48 years, respectively.

  • 친환경에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있는 현재, 식품 제조업체와 일반 소비자들의 기대에 부응해 많은 포장재 관련 업체들이 다양한 친환경 기능성 포장재를 개발하고 있다. 특히 자연에 존재하는 미생물에 의하며 자연분해되는 친환경 생분해성 용기는 완전 생분해 된다는 점에서 많은 각광을 받아왔으며 국내 40여 개의 생분해성 플라스틱 제조업체가 옥수수전분, 밀전분, 고구마전분, 갈대펄프, 왕겨, 목재펄프 등의 순수 천연물을 원료로 천연물 용기 개발에 주력해 왔다. 그러나 그동안, 고가(高價) 등의 이유로 상용화에 어려움을 겪어왔던 것이 현실이다. 지난 6일, (주)농심 계열의 식품 포장재 전문 업체인 율촌화학(주)이 친환경 전분 발포 컵라면 용기를 개발, 공급하면서 친환경 용기에 대한 시장이 확대될것으로 전망되고 있다. 율촌화학(주) 친환경 전분발포용기 개발의 주역인 김헌무 팀장을 만나, 개발 경위와 제품에 대한 설명을 들어보았다.

갈대의 고지혈증 개선효과와 그 활성성분 (Anti-hyperlipidemic Effect of Phragmites communis and Its Active Principles)

  • Administration of an MeOH extract of Pharagmites communis on hyperlipidemic rats produced a significant decrease in blood triglyceride. The fatty acid mixtures, $\beta$ -sitosterol and its glucoside, p-coumaric acid, vanilic acid, ferulic acid, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde and sucrose were isolated. Sterol and p-coumaric acid were shown to be effective in reducing the elevated level of triglyceride. The wet weight and the level of triglyceride in epididymal adipose tissue increase following administration of the methanol extract in rats fed the purified diets at the 1% level for 4 weeks. This results suggest that the methanol extract may accelerate the accumulation of lipid in adipose tissue.
