In this paper, a mini-Electrocardiograph(ECG) system operated by a general 9V alkaline battery is designed and implemented. The manufactured ECG consists of the instrumentation amplifier stage for detecting and amplifying the heart signal, the high pass filter(HPF), the low pass filter(LPF), the differentiator cirduit, and the peak detector. The detected heart signal through three leads is displayed cleanly on the oscilloscope, which shows the good operation of our ECG. As the detected heart signal is digitalized and displayed on the small LCD unit, the convenience of easy checkup and portability of the implemented ECG can be largely improved. Therefore, whenever and wherever anyone may checkup his/her cardiac state with ease.

분포형 수문모형은 컴퓨터 하드웨어의 급속한 발전과 GIS를 바탕으로 한 수문지리공간정보에의 접근성 및 활용성 증가에 따라 근래에 많은 발전을 이루게 되었다. 하지만 물리기반 분포형 수문모형은 입력자료 구축 및 모형구동에 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하며 수문자료가 불충분한 미계측 유역에서는 모형의 구축이 어렵다는 한계점을 지니고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 개념적 격자물수지 기법을 이용하여 집중형 수문모형의 자료구축의 간편성과 분포형 수문모형의 공간적 유출 해석 능력을 동시에 만족할 수 있는 그리고 격자기반 레이더강우자료를 활용할 수 있는 개념적-분포형 수문모형을 개발하였다. 본 수문모형은 GUI 환경으로 개발되었으며, GIS 전처리과정(pre-process) 및 유역의 지형자료 추출 기능을 탑재함으로 지형분석을 위해 GIS 상용 도구에 대한 의존성이 없는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 모형의 적용성을 검토하기 위하여 내린천 유역을 대상으로 유출해석을 실시하였으며 그 결과 적용성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

In this study, the analysis of density characteristics of some dredged and reclaimed ground sites, which is necessary for liquefaction evaluation of a dredged and reclaimed ground, was conducted. From analyzing a simplified liquefaction potential evaluation using SPT-N values which have been applied as domestic earthquake-resistant design criterion, improvement scheme is suggested. Based on the analysis result of density characteristics, it was found out that the relative density and the intial N-value ranged respectively $40{\sim}50%\;and\;5{\sim}8$. In the case of applying Liao & Whitman's equation to correct effective overburden pressure, liquefaction resistance of the upper ground that is relatively weaker than that of lower ground is overestimated. So, Skempton's equation is recommended. And the N value with depth which is applied for design process should be estimated by the exponential equation, $N=1.35{\sigma}'^{0.75}$.

This study analyzed temperament of ethnic Korean children residing in Korea comparing them with Korean children and American children residing in the USA. Parents of 169 Korean, Korean-American and American 4-7-year-old children rated them on the Very Short Form of Children's Behavior Questionnaire (CBQ; Rothbart et al., 2001). On most subscales, Korean children were reported higher than ethnic Korean children in the US while Korean-American children were rated lower than others. Attention focusing was influenced by macro systems; shifting and impulsivity were more sensitive to biological or micro systems. The bilingual setting of Korean-American children may explain the difference in control of this group from others. This study clearly showed that ecological settings play important roles in temperament.

This study proposes a new rapid-screening method for more reasonably evaluation the seismic capacities of low-rise RC buildings controlled by both shear and flexure. At the same time, this develops the equation of damage judgement and seismic capacity evaluation for quantitatively evaluating the seismic capacities. Using this evaluating method, it is impossible to estimate the evaluation score and earthquake-damage degree confronted with this and evaluate for efficiently the seismic capacities

We present a simple design method of velocity-matched traveling-wave (TW) electrode with periodic capacitive loads. Once matching impedance and optical phase velocity are defined, the width and separation of coplanarstrip (CPS) and the magnitude and period of capacitive load are determined analytically. Calculation results of velocity-matched TW electrodes on GaAs substrates show bandwidths of more than 100 GHz.

본 논문의 목적은 인터넷에서 범주형 자료분석에 대한 전문적인 지식이 없는 일반 분석자들에게 보다 쉽고, 간편하게 다룰 수 있는 범주형 자료 분석 시스템을 제공하는것이다. 이 분석 시스템은 크게 세 가지 측면으로 설계하여 구현하였다. 첫째, 범주형 자료에 대한 탐색적 자료분석을 위하여 세 가지 종류의 히스토그램을 제공한다. 둘째, 범주형 변수들간에 존재하는 연관성을 측정하기 위한 여러 연관성 측도들을 제공한다. 특히, 현재 많이 사용되는 통계 패키지들에서 제공하지 못하는 모자익 그림과 연관 그림을 동적 그래픽스로 구현하여 연관성을 측정하거나 모형을 설정하는데 유용한 정보를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 셋째, 대수선형모형에 대한 분석을 통해 사용자가 가장 잘 적합된 대수선형모형을 선택할 수 있게 하였다.

내장형 기기의 다양성 및 적용 범위의 확장으로 내장형 기기용 운영체제도 기기별 다양성을 지원할 것이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 특성을 갖는 운영체제를 조림형 운영체제라 한다. 본 논문에서는 조림형 실시간 운영체제인 Qplus커널의 입출력 시스템 개발에 대하여 기술한다. Qplus의 입출력 시스템은 사용자의 요구에 따라 입출력 장치 구동기의 조림이 가능하며 일관된 사용자 인터페이스 및 간편한 장치 구동기 인터페이스, 빠른 입출력을 지원한다. 현재 SA110 보드를 사용한 ITSB 에서 시험되었으며 앞으로 AIO, 가상 터미널 구동기의 지원 및 입출력 성능 시험을 수행할 예정이다.

금융가격별 지표의 변동성 증가에 대처하려는 보수적 투자가들이 이용할 수 있는 매력적 방안의 하나가 보험부 투자기법이다. 그러나 이 투자유형은 설계에 상당한 신축성을 보이며 이는 동시에 투자성과 구조의 신축성으로 반영된다. 주요한 설계차원의 하나가 위험투자의 손실발생시 보상차원이다. 여기에 일반적 보험개념을 적용할 때 투자가가 직면하는 선택문제의 하나는 부분보험계약형 투자설계시 공제부보험형 전략과 공동보험형 전략간의 선택이다. 일반적 보험 이론에서는 전자가 후자에 대해 우월한 유형이라는 것이 밝혀져 있다. 본 연구는 이를 보험부투자에 응용할 때도 양 전략간에 어떠한 우월관계가 존재하는 지 알아보려 시도했다. 이를 위해 효율성 평가기준의 하나인 간편한 확률적 지배기준을 적용하였으며 분석결과는 생산적이었다. 두 전략 각각의 기대수익률의 확률분포를 대상으로 기대수익률이 상대적으로 공제부보험형 전략에서 공동보험형 전략에서보다 상대적으로 높거나 최소한 같은 경우에 전자가 후자를 지배하며 그 반대조건인 경우에는 양 전략간에 우열관계가 나타나지 않는다는 결과를 얻었다.

본 논문에서는 8비트 마이크로 컨트롤러를 이용한 제어기를 여러 개를 다중 접속하여 구성한 분산형 방재 시스템을 제시하였다. 방재 시스템은 워크스테이션 또는 PC등의 호스트 시스템에 의하여 제어되며 호스트 시스템에 다수의 소형 제어기가 공통 통신 선에 의하여 연결된다. 각 제어기는 서로 다른 주소를 가지며 호스트 컴퓨터는 명령어 패킷에 특정 제어기의 주소를 첫 바이트로 실어 공통 통신 선으로 전송한다. 명령어 패킷의 주소에 해당하는 제어기는 명령어 패킷을 수신하여 입력상태를 호스트로 전송하고나 명령어에 따라 필요한 구동 출력을 발생하고 호스트로 자신의 주소를 포함한 응답 패킷을 전송한다. 서로 다른 주소를 이용하여 열 개의 제어기를 공통 통신 선으로 다중 접속함으로 분산형 방재 시스템을 구현하였다. 현재 방재 시스템의 동향은 분산형 방식으로 옮겨가는 추세이며 선로의 절약, 설치, 중설의 간편함과 함께 빌딩 자동화 시스템과 쉽게 연동하여 운영될 수 있다.
