중장년층 타겟 휴대폰 개발을 위하여, 타겟 사용자 인터뷰를 통해 실 사용패턴을 관찰하고 불편사항에 대한 실질적인 반응을 얻을 수 있다. 사전조사 및 2 차에 걸친 심층 인터뷰 결과로 도출된 guideline 에서 크게 접근성과 간결성의 두 개 category 를 interface design 시 고려할 것을 제안한다. 첫째, 접근성의 경우 물리적, 구조적, 화면 그래픽적 방법을v통하여 지원할 수 있다. 단축버튼 적용, 버튼 및 항목명의 한글 표기, 정보 표시 구조, 정보표시 순서의 조정을 통하여 사용성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 둘째, 간결성의 경우에는 정보의 선별, 강조와 제거 방법을 사용하여 지원 가능하다. 중장년층을 고려하였을 때 가독성을 향상시키는 것 또한 간결성 향상과 큰 관련이 있다. 보조를 위한 별도 기능을 추가하는 것과 정보가(information value)의 차별화, 화면복잡도의 조정을 통하여 사용성을 향상시킨다. 각 guideline 에 대한 사례를 서술하여 참고할 수 있도록 하였다. 기타 보조적 수단으로 중장년층을 사용성을 지원할 수 있는 기능의 추가, 기타 사용자 오류 패턴 연구를 소개한다. 이러한 일련의 사례연구를 통하여 특정 계층을 위한 interface 설계를 용이하게 하여 해당 계층이 만족스럽게 사용할 수 있고 더 나아가 시장에서의 차별화를 제공하는 휴대폰을 개발할 수 있다.

인터넷의 급속한 발달에 따라 다양한 앱(App)들이 기능적인 디자인으로 변모하고 있다. 그러나 아직 미적인 감성을 기반으로 한 간결성과 단순성에 대한 사용자 입장에서는 많은 불편함이 많은 실정이다. 그래서 이를 극복하기 위하여 앱을 설계할 때 사용자의 만족도도 높이면서 앱의 간결성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 요소를 분석하고자 한다.

With the rise of fintech services, the importance of UX Writing in digital channel is growing. However, there is a lack of research on how different types of UX Writing in fintech services specifically affect user's satisfaction. In order to determine the impact of UX Writing style in fintech services on user's satisfaction, this study used a 2x2 mixed design with using formality in Korean and financial jargon as independent variables to measure trust, conciseness, psychological stability, and completeness. The results showed that higher levels of conciseness, psychological stability, and completeness when not using jargon than using jargon. Using formality in Korean did not show a main effect for any of the dependent variables, but it was occurred that higher levels of conciseness, psychological stability, and completeness with using formality in Korean but not using jargon. The significance of this study is that it empirically verified how using formality and financial jargon in UX Writing of fintech services affects user satisfaction.

This research deals with cognitive characteristics of point symbols on the current tourist maps in terms of the communication theory in considering levels of symbolization and those of preference. The levels of symbolization are examined on the basis of the meaning of point symbols between map-makers and map-users. Preferences of point symbols are investigated by the tourist objects. As a result, when point symbols are expressed in conciseness, the meaning and interpretation about those symbols are highly accorded. And the point symbols that have familiarity by visual experience are preferred. Also, the higher symbolical levels symbols have, the more likely they are preferred. Through that fact, familiarity from the visual experience, conciseness in expression, concreteness of figures expressed in maps, and representativeness of visualized properties were deduced as factors that affect preferences. Those factors work to affect preference complicatedly, but familiarity is prior to simplicity in preferences. Likewise, ways that visualize information, contents that are expressed as images and familiarity in terms of cognitive characteristics make a relative difference in preferences and the levels of symbolization. On the basis of those cognitive characteristics, visual complexity and ambiguity should be removed and the higher symbolical level of point symbols for efficiency of map-reading should be developed.

The Directional sign system in Korean high speed railway stations has a lot of problems. For an example, It lacks of consistency in the shape or allocation. Also, the signs do not match with the actual directions sometimes. Last but not least, the view is blocked by the other signs such as advertisement or other barriers. We suggested the methods to standardize the sign systems that include visibility, accuracy, consistency, and simplicity. First, we categorized signs into directional signs, locational signs, and infomational signs. Then, we examined the actual high speed railway stations in Korea to learn the real situation. Finally, we suggested the methods to standardize the sign systems considering the factors that are visibility, accuracy, consistency, and simplicity.

Most programming languages are designed based on English. It becomes another barrier in learning programming languages in non-English speaking country. If a programming language is presented using a native language, the education cost of programming will be much cheaper and the programming itself can be much more fun. However, designing the programming languages based on native languages has not been much focused or published up to now. It is partly because the evolution of popular programming languages is so fast, and partly because the efficiency of programs is much stressed than the source code. But, the designing of programming languages based on native language is not a small issue, especially if we reflect on the education of programming. In fact, there have been significant efforts reported in the Korean programming languages so far, but it has not practically been used in the education. This paper introduces yet another Korean programming language, namely Sprout, which is concise and can be easily learned by beginners. To demonstrate the conciseness of Sprout, we have performed two experiments on Sprout. Firstly, we compared the sizes of the programs in Sprout with those in former Korean programming languages. Secondly, we compared the size of Sprout, the language itself, with those of popular programming languages such as C and Python. According to the experiments, Sprout programs are more concise to 10% on average than those in former Korean languages. Furthermore, Sprout itself is more compact to 24% on average than other popular programming languages.

이동통신에서의 사용자 인증 서비스는 통화도용 방지와 신뢰성 있는 과금을 위한 중요한 보호 서비스이다. 본 논문에서는 IS-95A 인증 시스템에 적용 가능한 안전한 인증 알고리듬과 인증 키 생성 알고리듬을 제안한다. 특히 인증 알고리듬을 활용하여 인증 키 생성알고리듬을 Oracle 해쉬함수의 형태로 구현함으로써 인증 시스템의 높은 안전성과 간결성을 동시에 성취하였다. 그리고 통계적 분석 기법을 사용하여 개발된 알고리듬의 출력 특성을 분석한다.

This study analyzes user behavior on YouTube Shorts within snack culture and proposes short-form video production strategies by identifying key value factors. Prior research identified seven characteristics (playfulness, time killing, information provision, social presence, interactivity, escapism, conciseness) and criteria based on the 5W1H principles. Surveys and interviews revealed that key user values are playfulness, time killing, conciseness, and interactivity. Users engage without specific purposes, watch 10-20 consecutive pieces selectively, and use it in comfortable environments. This research provides insights for understanding user behavior and short-form video production strategies.

Acceleration of the globalization process as they are internationally accepted, standardized. Dongba (東巴文字) text are Naxi(納西族) Dongba pictograph (象形文字) of a concrete nature in china, Characterized by simplicity, abstraction, associative, interesting, decorative, symbolic etc. These features can quickly identify and satisfy to the people's demand for special aesthetic.
