Several time-course experiments were carried out to understand seasonal development of melanose on yuzu trees at koehung area, Jeonnam province, during May to October. The occurrence of dead twigs, known as a source of infection, was much more in older trees, and from June to August, mostly in July. In the experiment of pycnidia development on dead twigs seasonally collected, the number of developed pycnidia was highest on July-collected dead twigs especially with the diameter of 1.1~1.5 cm. In the collection survey of disseminated pycnidiospores, although the collected number of pycnidiospores was affected with amount of precipitation, the number of observed pycnidiospores in rainwater was relatively high from June to August, with highest in early August in 1997 and late July in 1998. In the inoculation tests on 3-year-old trees and fruits in natural condition, disease occurrences were mostly affected on twigs by inocula treatment in June, and on fruits by inocula treatment in July, respectively.

저압전로에 시설하는 과전류차단기는 이를 시설하는 곳을 통과하는 단락전류를 차단하는 능력을 가지는 것이어야 한다. 다만 그곳을 통과하는 최대단락전류가 10kA를 넘는 경우에 과전류차단기로서 10kA이상의 단락전류를 차단하는 능력을 가지는 배선용 차단기를 시설하고 그곳으로부터 전원측의 선로에 그 배선용차단기의 단락전류를 그 배선용차단기보다 빨리 또는 동시에 차단하는 능력을 가지는 과전류차단기를 시설하는 때에는 그러하지 아니하다.

인도의 간디는 이 세상에는 일곱 가지의 사회악이 있다고 말했다. 원칙이 없는 정치, 노동이 없는 생산, 도덕이 없는 상업, 양심이 없는 쾌락, 특성이 없는 교육, 인간성이 없는 과학, 희생이 없는 종교 예배가 그 내용이다. 마치 지금 우리 사회를 적확하게 진단하고 우리에게 던져준 메시지처럼 보인다. 이제 우리는 우리가 부딪친 몇 가지 주요 현안을 살펴보고, 21세기를 앞두고 이 땅에서 지식인이 나갈 행보를 곰곰히 생각할 시점에 왔다.

Forty-two preoperative CT scans with renal cell carcinoma were reviewed and compared with pathologic findings to evaluate the differential points between stage I and II. Regardless of whole body staging, perirenal fat infiltrations were seen in 9 cases and the other 33 cases showed no infiltration onto perirenal fat tissue. We retrospectively reviewed them by comparing tumor size and CT findings, following three view points, lobulating contour of tumor margin, thickening of Gerota's fascia and strands in perirenal fat tissue. The size of them was 2-15 cm, size of the stage I tumors was 2-15 cm and that of stage II was 6-15 cm. In stage I(n=33), 25 cases(76%) showed smooth margin, and the others(n=8) showed lobulating contours. Thickening of Gerota's fascia was observed in 7 cases(21%) and strands in perirenal fat tissue in 14(42%). Of these, only one positive finding was seen in 7 cases(21%), 2 findings in 6(18%), 3 findings in 3 (9%) and nothing in 17cases(51%). In stage II(n=9), 3 cases(34%) showed smooth margin, and the others(n=6) showed lobulating contours. Thickening of Gerota's fascia were observed in 5 cases(55%) and strands in perirenal fat tissue in 9(100%). Of these, one finding was seen in 2 cases(22%), 2 findings in 3(33%), 3 findings in 4 (44%). In conclusion, it is insufficient to evaluate the perirenal fat infiltration in renal cell carcinoma with only one positive finding of 3 view points; lobulation of tumor margin, thickening of Gerota's fascia, strands in perirenal fat tissue. But if all these findings are shown, it is helpful to determinate perirenal fat infiltration of renal cell carcinoma.

ITU-T와 ISO/IEC의 공동 작업으로 제정 된 H.264/AVC는 기존 비디오 표준들에 비해 동일한 화질에서 약 30%~70%의 비트 량을 절감할 수 있으며, 동일한 비트 량으로 PSNR이 2~3dB 가량 우수한 영상을 제공할 수 있다. H.264/AVC는 인트라 부호화 효율을 높이기 위해 공간 영역에서 주변 화소를 이용하여 $4{\times}4$ luma 예측의 9가지 모드와 $16{\times}16$ luma 예측의 4가지 모드에 대한 비트율-왜곡 최적화 기법을 사용하여 최적의 인트라 예측 모드를 선택한다. 본 논문에서는 프레임 내에서 공간 중복 성을 더 많이 줄이기 위해 9가지 모드의 $4{\times}4$ luma 예측에 7가지 모드를 추가하여 총16가지의 $4{\times}4$ luma 예측 모델을 제안한다. 그리고 실험을 통하여 제안하는 인트라 예측 모델이 기존 기술에 비해 높은 압축효율을 보인다.

In this paper we propose a method for performance enhancement of speech recognizer under noisy conditions. The parallel combination model which is presented at the PMC method using multiple Gaussian-distributed mixtures have been adapted to the variation of each mixture. The CDHMM(continuous observation density HMM) which has multiple Gaussian distributed mixtures are combined by the proposed PMC method. Also, the EM(expectation maximization) algorithm is used for adapting the model mean parameter in order to reduce the variation of the mixture density. The result of simulation, the proposed PMC adaptation method show better performance than the conventional PMC method.

특정 사람에 대해 느끼는 이미지 또는 특정 사람이 가지는 이미지를 어떻게 평가하고 나타낼 수 있을까\ulcorner 본 연구에서는 사람에 대해 가지는 이미지를 표준적인 감성 어휘 척도를 활용하여 모델이 가지는 감성이미지가 무엇인지를 비교평가 할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 연구 대상으로는 국내 화장품 회사의 모델을 활용하였다. 4명의 모델을 전체와 부분 모습의 두 가지 형태로 제시하면서 각 인물이 가진 이미지를 평가하게 하였다. Personal 감성이미지를 평가하기 위해서 사람의 특성이나 이미지를 묘사하는 형용사 쌍 103개를 이용하였다. 모델 이미지에 대한 평가 반응은 요인분석을 통해 7개의 감성어휘 요인으로 나타났다. 우아한-천박한, 신선감-답답함, 편안함-불편함, 순수함-가식적인, 세련미-촌스러운, 진취성-보수성, 여성성-남성성, 4명의 모델들은 이 7가지 감성 이미지 요인에 따라 상호 차별적으로 나타났다. 인물 감성이미지는 감성적 어휘로 표현됨과 동시에 각 인물이 가진 고유하고 대표적인 personal image로 나타낼 수 있는가를 보여줄 수 있엇다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 감성이미지척도는 사람의 이미지를 평가하는 대표적인 감성척도로 이용될 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 특정 제품을 나타내는 모델이 일반인들에 어떤 이미지를 전달하는지 그리고 모델의 이미지와 제품이 지향하는 이미지와 얼마나 일치하는지를 평가할 수 있었다.

일반적으로 가변구조제어는 외란과 변수 변화에 대해 강인한 특성을 가지지만 제어기 설계자는 이러한 값들에 대한 상한 값과 하한 값을 알아야한다. 그러나 때로는 이러한 상한 값과 하한 값을 얻는다는 것은 쉽지가 않다. 이에 반해 퍼지제어기는 외란과 변수 변화에 대한 제어기 설계에 있어서 효과적인 방법을 제공한다. 따라서 퍼지제어기와 가변구조제어기가 가지는 장점들을 결합하는 연구가 진행되어져 왔다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 선형 슬라이딩 면을 가지는 퍼지제어기를 이용하는 방법 대신 비선형 슬라이딩 면을 가지는 퍼지제어기를 이용한 적응 퍼지 가변구조제어기를 이용하였다. 따라서 시스템의 결과는 선형 슬라이딩 면을 가지는 제어기 설계에서 나타나는 동적 특성과 정적 특성의 대립을 해결할 수 있다. 또한, 가변구조제어의 동적 특성을 결정하는 제어입력을 도입하여 적응 퍼지 가변구조제어기의 안정도를 판명하였다. 제안된 제어 알고리듬의 유용성을 입증하기 위해 비선형성이 큰 가변 길이를 갖는 진자 시스템을 이용하였다.
