UK and Sweden Work-Family Policy on Work.Care Citizenship (노동권.부모권 관점에서 본 영국과 스웨덴의 일-가족양립정책)

  • This study was done to find out how women acquire their work citizenship through work-family reconciliation policies from the point of view of labour right and care right. This study investigated how labour right and care right, established by work-family reconciliation policies, are organized on a national level through the methods of socialization of the care such as the strategies of familization, de-familization, commodication and decommodication because paid labour and unpaid care work can be concretely embodied by such strategies. Actually in the care systems in the UK and Sweden, gender roles related to the responsibility for care was assumed differently. For that reason, the socialization of the care in these countries have been developed in a different way. And different results have been created from the two different countries in labour rights and care righst of man and women. The matter whether a society regards a woman as a laborer or caregiver especially has been an important starting point for the way in which social sharing of care develops. Work-family reconciliation policies stated in this study are very important factors. We can understand that care is not simply a duty of a man or a woman but an important human desire, which has to be granted to both a man and a woman as one of their own individual rights.

  • This study analyzed how job stress of counselors at Multicultural Family Support Center effects on their psychological exhaustion. The purpose of this research is on suggesting efficient human resource administration plan by mitigating job stress using the result of analysis. In the result of analysis, MFSC counselors' job stress had an effect on emotional exhaustion, impersonalization, and a factor of decline in sense of self-perfection. Applying this result, this research proposed a necessity of realistic plan preparation to prevent job stress and psychological exhaustion of MFSC counselors.

  • 국민소득의 향상, 핵 가족화, 여성의 사회 참여가 높아짐에 따라 우리 고유의 식생활은 영양식, 위생식, 간이식 (convenience food) 등 서구식 식생활을 부분적으로 수용하면서 식품의 소비구조도 점차 다양화, 고급화 및 편의화 방향으로 바뀌어 가고 있다. 이러한 변화는 젊은 세대들의 식습관 변화와 식품가공 산업의 발달과 함께 가속화되고 있으며 앞으로도 지속될 전망이다. 따라서 우리의 식생활은 기아와 영양부족이 주된 관심 대상이던 건강관리의 문제가 최근에는 과잉섭취로 인한 성인병 문제로 초점이 이동되었으며 각종 성인병의 치료 역시 약물이나 의료적인 치료보다는 식생활의 조절에 의한 질병예방 차원에 더욱 관심을 가지게 되었다. Work-Familiy Interface and Organizational Outcomes in Female Managers: The Moderating Effects of Family-friendly Organizational Culture (여성관리자의 일-가정 상호관계와 조직성과: 가족친화적 조직문화의 조절효과 분석)

  • Work-family interface including work-family conflict and work-family enrichment has an effect on organizational performance such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This empirical research mainly investigated influence of family-friendly organizational culture on work-family interface and organizational performance. Three key variables apply for this research : work-family interface, organizational performance and family-friendly organizational culture. A total 750 questionnaire was collected from female managers in various companies for hypothesis testing. The empirical analysis shows that reducing work-family conflict and enhancing work-family enrichment positively contribute to job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The Family-friendly organizational culture plays a moderating role between work-family interface and organizational performance. As a result, the findings support the fact that family-friendly organizational culture impact on organizational performance through work-family balance.

  • The changing Agenda of the family policy is to be influenced by many factors. The structural change of population and aging problem in modern society are generally included in main factors which produce political needs. Therefore, migrant family is recognized as a alternative which is to resolve the socioeconomic problems of aging industrial societies. In Germany, Gerhard Schroeder who leads the SPD governs since 1998. The Schroeder's new conception of welfare policy is known as the third way("neue Mitte") which the social economic structure intends to neo-liberalistic trend. The concern on the welfare policy for the migrant families has grown recently in neo-liberalistic age, but research on german welfare policy for migrant families is very limited in quantity and Depth. The main purpose of this study is to examine how the welfare policy for the migrant families of Schroeder-government has been developed in Germany. And this paper evaluates the results of transforming policy. Based on this evaluation, this paper attempts to be manifest the problem of korean family policy for the migrant population and to find out implications of german model.

  • The most important thing in the Tourist Market Segmentation is to find descriptive variables which can describe the changes of tourist demand properly. There are many descriptive variables. Among them, vital statistical variables were proved to be effective. The strongest variable but which was studied much less is the Family Life Cycle. This study will focus on the relation between Family Life Cycle and Travel Behavior of Destination Choice. In this study, I will verify the validity of Family Life Cycle as a descriptive variable of Tourist Market Segmentation, and try to find the meaningful variable at each steps. Therefore, The purpose of this study is to explain the relation between Family Life Cycle and Travel Behavior of Destination Choice, to verify the validity of Family Life Cycle as descriptive variable and to find the strategy to respond to the increase in quantity and diversity of quality of Tourist Market. The studies on the Family Life Cycle should be updated continuously according to the change of family structure and it should be understood as standard for Tourist Market Segmentation in the public and private sphere.

  • This paper examines the effects of corporate governance on internationalization in Korean firms. Using the data from 454 Korean manufacturing firms listed in the Korean Stock ExchanFge (KSE) from 1999-2006, we analyzed the role of corporate governance on internationalization in Korean firms, including Chaebols (Korean business groups) and family firms. In addition, we investigated the moderating effect of concentration of ownership on internationalization. The results of the analysis showed a positive association between corporate governance in Chaebols and family firms and internationalization. Interestingly, the influence of ownership concentration overpowered the ambivalent behaviors of Chaebols, leading to less internationalization. We conclude that corporate governance in Chaebols and family firms is important to internationalization strategy.

한국의 가족 및 친족간의 접촉빈도와 사회적 지원의 양상: 국제간 비교의 맥락에서

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국의 가족 및 친족관계의 특성을 국제 비교적 맥락에서 분석하는 것이다. ISSP(International Social Survey Program)의 모듈인 '사회관계와 지원체계'를 조사한 2004년 한국일반종합조사의 자료를 바탕으로 하여, 한국의 친족 간 접촉빈도와 사회적 지원에서 친족이 차지하는 위치를 비교적 시각에서 분석하였다. 연구결과는 한국의 대면적 친족접촉빈도가 조사대상 국 중 최하위 권에 있으며, 한국의 가족 및 친족이 정서적 지원보다는 도구적 지원의 대상으로 작동하는 성격이 보다 강함을 보여주고 있다. 한국의 낮은 친족접촉빈도는 한국의 경제발전 수준이나, 강한 가족주의의 전통으로는 쉽게 설명되기 어렵다는 점에 주목하여, 유교적 전통 중 위계적 집합주의가 섬소한 대면적 접촉빈도를 설명할 수 있음을 주장하였다. 사회적 지원과 관련하여서는 한국의 가족주의가 도구적 가족주의의 성격을 가지고 있음을 확인하는 한편, 친족집단의 낮은 정서적 지원정도와 위계적 집합주의와의 관련이 논의되었다. 또, 이러한 낮은 정서적 지원의 양상이 반드시 한국의 가족관계가 비정서적인 것을 의미하는 것은 아니라는 것이 지적되었다.
