The Alternatives and Perspectives on Family-friendly Support in Business for Care Work-Focused on Community Involvement and Role of the Family-friendly Support Center- (기업의 가족친화적 돌봄지원사업의 대안과 방향 -지역사회확대와 가족친화지원센터의 역할을 중심으로-)

  • Many leading companies provide family-friendly policies for a good work-family balance and to increase the productivity of their workers. The workers receive such benefits as family leaves or financial support for caring for their dependents. But the employees need much more support than these benefits to properly care for their families. This study examines the role of the companies in the expansion of family-friendly policies to the community. A few companies see community relations-such as investing in community programs-as linked to work-family policies. Accordingly, this study suggests the best practices and alternatives of many companies. This study also examines the role and perspectives of the Family-Friendly Support Center as an organization that can lead the community involvement of the business. This center can promote the company's collaboration and network of stakeholders.

폐업기업 대표의 불안과 우울 및 회복탄력성이 삶의 질과 재창업 의지에 미치는 영향

  • 매년 수많은 기업이 폐업하고 있으며 그 숫자만큼 폐업 기업의 대표가 실패하고 있다. 중소기업연구원의 재기성공요인 분석을 통한 중소 벤처기업의 재도전 활성화 연구(백필규,2011)에 의하면 폐업이나 부도의 형태로 실패하는 기업이 급격하게 증가한 시점은 외환위기가 발생했던 1997년과 1998년의 사이로 보고 있다. 부도 기업의 숫자가 외환위기때는 약 4만사, 1999년부터 2010년까지도 평균 4만 7천여사가 발생하였고 폐업기업수는 부도기업보다 훨씬 많아 매년 80~90만개 전후의 기업이 실패하고 있다. 최근 IBK경제연구소의 실패기업인의 재창업 지원제도 설문조사 결과(김나라,2017)에 의하면 최근 5년간 창업기업은 연평균 77만개사, 폐업기업은 69만개사로 조사되었으며 창업기업의 5년 생존율은 27.3%로 OECD 주요회원국 17개국중 최하위를 차지했다. 오랜시간 대한민국 사회는 사업실패는 곧 패가망신이라는 인식이 깊게 자리잡고 있다. 연대보증이나 재기가 어려운 구조로 인하여 폐업기업의 대표가 실패하면 가족들도 모두 힘들어지고 본인은 경제적, 심리적 어려움에 직면하고 있는 현실이다. 정부와 민간 기관들이 실패기업인들의 재기를 지원하기 위하여 다양한 제도를 운영하고 있지만 아직 시행 초기 단계라 보다 재기를 원하는 기업인들에게 맞춤형으로 도움을 줄 수 있는 실질적이고 효과적인 시스템이 구축되었다 할 수 없다. 창업강국인 미국과 중국의 기업가들은 평균 2.8회의 실패 경험을 가지고 있으나 한국의 기업가는 1.3회의 실패 경험을 보유 한다.(중기청, 2014) 폐업기업 대표의 재무적 손실의 규모와 관계없이 불안과 우울이 낮고 회복탄력성이 높은 기업가가 본인과 가족의 삶의 질과 재창업의지에 긍정적인 효과가 있음으로 나타났다. 연구 대상은 재기중소기업개발원의 재기 기업인과 정부 재창업 지원 프로그램에 지원한 재기 기업인을 대상으로 조사 하였으며 본 연구를 통해 폐업기업 대표에게 필요한 사회적 안전장치와 국가의 창업지원이 고용창출, 매출증가로 이어질 수 있는 선순환 구조의 재기 창업 생태계를 만드는 데 일조하고자 한다.

Forms of Governance and Firm Value in the Korean Logistics Industry (물류기업의 지배구조가 기업가치에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper investigates whether managerial ownership and foreign ownership have impacts on firm value, using a sample of logistics firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange between 2008 and 2014. In the Korean economy, family-controlled business groups, known as chaebol, constitute a unique governance system. To acquire investments from controlling shareholders, a logistics firm is likely to be included in family-controlled business groups. Since reform of the governance structure of logistics firms in the South Korea enables shareholder value to be maximized, we analyzed ownership effects on firm value using pooled ordinary least squares. Empirical results showed that there was a significant positive relation between managerial ownership and firm value. This study also found that there was a significant positive relation between foreign ownership and firm value. We thus show that both managerial ownership and foreign ownership can protect shareholders by positively affecting firm values.

  • (주)SFC는 2006년에 국내 최초, 세계에서 네 번째로 태양광 모듈용 백시트를 개발하였다. 이는 우리나라가 차세대 대체에너지 시장에 큰 걸음을 디딘 사건으로 기억되고 있다. 특히 이런 획기적인 일이 대기업이 아닌 중소기업에서 이루어져 적잖게 놀라움을 주었다. 1988년 설립한 (주)SFC는 라미네이팅 필름생산에 기반을 둔 특수필름 전문생산업체이다. (SFC는 Special Film corporation의 약자이다.) 초창기 영세한 중소기업에서 현재 태양광특수필름을 생산하는 튼실한 중견기업을 거듭난데에는 특수필름을 생산하며 쌓아온 기술력과 노하우가 있었기에 가능했겠지만 무엇보다도 회사 구성원들의 열정이 큰 몫을 했다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 이런 눈부신 성장 뒤에는 항상 눈에 띄지 않는 그 무엇인가가 있게 마련인데, 이곳 임직원들은 그것이 바로 가족같은 분위기에서 나오는 '실천하는 안전'이라고 말한다. 가족같은 분위기로 안전을 실천하며 눈부신 발전을 하고 있는 (주)SFC를 찾아가 봤다.

Expatriate Selection & Training of Korean Firm (한국 기업의 해외 파견인 선발, 교육에 관한 연구)

  • As the globalization of business increases, roles of managers from other culteres assume greater importance, This is the survey of expatriate selection and training of korean firms. We assummed that selecting criteria should be different for each part ho has different purposal. We cartegolized three parts with comparative two sides. Our results shows that there are differences in selecting vs. selected parts, selected part who should work foreign market assummed spouse & family's conditions more important. As top anagers emphasize the managemant & skill factors, middle and low level managers are more intrested in personal factors. The part who expatriate developing country choose cross culture factor more important than expatriate advenced country. In korean firms, there's a little program about expatiate training, spouse & family education and no repatriation adjustment program.

  • In order to maintain customer satisfaction and to remain productive and efficient in today's global competition, mass customization is adopted in many leading companies. Mass customization through product family and product platform enables companies to develop new products with flexibility, efficiency and quick responsiveness. Thus, product family strategy based on product platform is well suited to realize the mass customization. Product family is defined as a group of related products that share common features, components, and subsystems; and satisfy a variety of market niches. The objective is to propose a product family design strategy that provides priority weights among product components by satisfying customer requirements. The decision making process for a new product development requires a multiple criteria decision making technique with feedback. An analytical network process is adopted for the decision making modeling and procedure. For the implementation, a netbook product known as a small PC which is appropriate for the product family model is adopted. According to the proposed architecture, the priority weight of each component for each product family is derived. The relationship between the customer requirement and product component is analyzed and evaluated using QFD model.

Health Policy for The Senile Dementia in Korea (치매노인의 건강한 삶을 위한 노인복지정책 방향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the senile dementia in Korea and then provides policy alternatives for the heal-thy life of the aged. The increaase of life expectancy is the hope for all, accordingly unhealthy life will be misfortune for them including their family. The physiological dysfunction of human body causes diverse problems. Among them, the most serious one is the malfunction of brain to include both Alzheimer's disease and senile dementia. When considering the poor analysis for senile dementia and the non-systematic aspect of national health policy for the aged, this paper has concluded that more planned programs should be developed for the aged in viewpoint of national criteria.

The Relationships among Family-Friendly Culture, Intrinsic Motivation, Team-member Exchange(TMX), and Creativity in ICT Company (ICT기업에서 가족친화적 조직문화, 내재적 동기부여, TMX, 창의성의 관계)

  • This paper investigates the relationships among family-friendly culture, intrinsic motivation, team-member exchange(TMX), and creativity in ICT(information & communication technology) company. Also the study investigates the moderator effect of TMX and the mediator effect of intrinsic motivation in the relationships between family-friendly culture and creativity. A structural equation modeling(SEM) was employed to test the hypotheses. Using survey data collected from 229 R&D department and support personnel in ICT company. The main finding of this study was as follows: First, a family-friendly culture had a negative effect on employee creativity. Second, intrinsic motivation had a positive impact on employee creativity. Third, a family-friendly culture had a positive effect on intrinsic motivation. Fourth, intrinsic motivation mediated effect on the relationship between a family-friendly culture and employee creativity. Fifth, the positive relationships between a family-friendly culture and intrinsic motivation were stronger when TMX was high rather than low. In particular, this review concludes with implications for future research, limitations of this study, and practical application.
