This study intended to search improvement plan of welfare service based on welfare desire research in order to raise the effectiveness of welfare service for youth in multicultural family. The result of study is that youth in multicultural family has a difficulty in study and home problem. As a result of examination to hierarchy needs in daily life, youth in normal family showed higher desire of membership and love(t=-2.006, p<.05) than youth in multicultural family. Youth in multicultural family showed higher desire of self-realization(t=-4.636, p<.05) than youth in normal family. In result of hierarchy needs of welfare, it is indicated that youth in multicultural family has higher desire of safety(t=7.607, p<.05), desire of membership and love(t=8.346, p<.05), desire of self-respect(t=4.683, p<.05), and desire of self-realization(t=2.199, p<.05). Therefore, welfare service for youth in multicultural family needs the cooperation with community and improvement of speciality of welfare service employees based on unitary integrated system and requires the development of indices to reflect the desire of beneficiary.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the demand for the family worker and family well-being program. For this analysis, the data taken from 367 married women who are using at least 1 program in related institutions in Ulsan were used. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The most demanded role of family worker is family counselor and information performer. So the education system and curriculum for family worker should take more the counseling and information related contents. 2. The most demanded family well-being programs are the communication skill between parents and children and parenting role. The demand for the family well-being programs is different with the users' age, motivation, institutions, etc. So the organization of the program can very as users' characteristics and institutions.

This study focused on the necessity and structural framework of tentative draft of "Act on Family Welfare". The background of this study started from the necessity that we need a holistic family welfare system to enhance the family function. The suggested act of family welfare is consisted on 4 parts, General Provisions, Arrangements of Basic Plan and Policy, Organizations and Facilities for Family Wefare and certified Personnel.

이 연구는 공공가정의 개념을 정립하고, 공공가정론의 기본구성가 내용을 살펴봄으로써 가정관리학에서 공공가정론을 도입, 전개시킬수 있는 실천적 토대를 제시하고자 한다. 특히 공공가정이 가정복지의 한 실천수단이 된다는 의미에서, 기존의 가정복지에 대한 논의와 관련하여 공공가정의 정체성을 파악하고, 공공가정론의 연구방향성을 중심으로 공공가정이라 는 연구대상에 대하여 집중적으로 고찰하고자 한다.
