A Preference Analysis for Internet of Things based Mobile Telecom Environment in Korea (국내 이동통신 사물인터넷에 관한 선호도 분석)

  • Lately, the three mobile telecom companies in Korea are competing for the launch of internet of things services for using home. Typical launched services are in the smart home related fields. However, internet of things as mobile telecom based are at an early stage, expected that various services will be started continuously. At this point, we have been planning to analyze the preference of Internet of things for objects based on the services already launched. In order to apply the AHP (analytic hierarchy process) analysis method, the first stage factors were designed as safety, security, health care, intelligence and home appliances. In addition, the second stage factors were organized into 18 detailed services presented in the conceptual model. Thus, we present the theoretical and practical implications of these results.

Effective Utilization of DLNA Functions in Home Media Devices (홈 미디어 기기의 DLNA 소프트웨어 효율적 적용)

  • These days many DLNA home media network services start in home network area. DLNA networking softwares included in DLNA media devices contains all of server, renderer and controller functions. But a home media device in home media network environment not uses all of DLNA functions but uses only limited functions. Using all of integrated DLNA functions wastes networking and processing resources especially in home media network, because a home media device uses very limited functions. For example, a smart-TV has a main role of playback and a network attached storage has a main role of media content storage. In this paper, we analyze integrated DLNA networking softwares and design DLNA software models representing each home media device so as to utilize device resources efficiently. And we implement DLNA softwares for smart-TV and smart-phone and test resource efficiency.

The Influence of Background Music of TV Home Shopping on Purchase Intent of Customers (TV홈쇼핑 배경음악이 소비자의 구매의사에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, as TV home shopping has entered into the stage of stability, competition between the same lines of business has become more intense. Thus, this research goals have been determined in order to analyze the purchase intent of customers related with the genre and tempo of background music of TV home shopping by different types of products. In order to achieve the research goals, thorough research on related literatures have been conducted and found out about the background music. Furthermore, the characteristics of background music of actual TV home shopping broadcasting have been analyzed, focusing on the genre and tempo of the music. In addition, a survey has been conducted in order to verify what kind of music genre and tempo of the background music has an influence on the highest purchase intent of the chosen three products(sportswear, household appliances, fresh and processed foods). This study investigated the influence of background music of TV home shopping in relation to the purchase intent of customers. Also, this study has significance in the sense that it analyzed the causal relationship between the background music of home shopping and reactions of customers by categorizing products in details and using the music genre and tempo as the independent variables that affect the purchase intent of customers.

Which .is the firm for home electric appliances representing Korea. This studies for the development and the design of the products by the firm thus emphasizing the visulizing it based on this study. For example as they being the goods for the summer season I have tried to know the physical quakity and the characters of koreans by the weather conditions and estimated the demand by setting up the target customers of the PAC as the customers' environment. And I analyzed the acts in the living room in the apartments as the living envinorment which has the direct relation with PAC and also became a help to the moulding work of PAC by analyzing the complete interior image in the living room. In the practical moulding work the Design concept was classified into the envinorment of customer, living and products to drive as the below. Firstly - New shape (Round slim) has been realized which leads the minimizing the moulding space and visul sense of opening as its being spacious. The 2nd - the high class sense of the products which are harmonious with the atmosphere of the living room by making it interiorized has been visible. The 3rd - The shape stimulating the sensitivity of the users and surface treatment are emphasized by making it be touched. The 4th - During inviting use of technology image which appears in the electronics products are attemptedby making it be high quality.king it be high quality.

  • Recently, many consumer electronics manufacturers have produced 3D devices such as 3DTVs and 3D monitors as interests in a stereoscopic video service are getting increased. However, most of 3D services are focused on local storage or bandwidth guaranteed service since 3D stereoscopic video service require bandwidth more stable and larger. This property causes difficulties in seamless stereoscopic video streaming services under IP based open network environment that cannot guarantee quality of services. In order to achieve a seamless video streaming service the international standard organization MPEG (Moving Pictures Experts Group) has developed the adaptive HTTP streaming technology called as DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP). However, the DASH doesn't have obvious scheme which can express the two elementary video streams based service-compatible stereoscopic contents in one segment. Therefore, this paper proposes a scheme of efficient 3D adaptive streaming service based on the DASH, which covers not only frame-packing stereoscopic contents but also service-compatible ones. The 3D adaptive HTTP streaming scheme introduced in this paper is able to provide 3D contents with various qualities to user and also has benefit that single 3D content can be applied to a variety of devices.

Use of Microwave Range and Oven, and Change on Dietary Type (전자렌지, 오븐의 이용과 식생활의 변화)

  • The possession of microwave range, oven and oven-microwave range has been greatly increased with 88 Seoul Olympic Game as a momentum, and the possession rate was by 68%. The respondent answered the function of microwave range to be more necessary than that of oven, and the two household commodities have been mostly used to reheat and heat simply prepared frozen foods. The 35% among total respondent wished to cook the prepared frozen foods like pizza, but the 87% prefered to cook bakery. The frequencies of the use of oven were 35%, 35% for cooking premix and raw materials, and 20%, 20% for cooking half-prepared and prepared foods, respectively. The respondent of 39% was interested in premix foods as a future preference for food forms, and the respondent with interest in half-prepared food was 30%, but the preference for raw materials and prepared foods showed a trend to be decreased. The respondent of 60ft had eaten out six times week, and 50% had eaten instant and fast foods 1~3 times week. As the results of this survey, most of consumers prefer to more convenient foods. Therefore, it is expected that the function of oven and microwave range would be widely useful if various foods are improved with regards to convenience for use and preference.
