I.G.G is abbreviation for Inert Gas Generator, High temperature in Cargo Tank it desulfurize, exhausted and froze the gas that combined brimstone element and soot, then supply Inert gas by blower, and mack tank inside incombustible range this is equipment that nip in the bud the explosion. The blower for suppling inactivated gas has big impeller with heavy weight to achieve the high pressure, it causes a delay for first operation time and too much load is delivered to motor, total destruction by fire of motor is happening frequently. On this research, we will reduce the size & weight of impeller and install it with several stage, it makes an effect for reducing the first operation time. We also intend to contribute to efficient IGG blower design by research a flowing & pressure specialty from the diameter of impeller, number of blade, and size of casing.

Adsorption experiments of binary mixed gases composed of acetone/methylethylketone (MEK), MEK/benzene, MEK/toluene, and benzene/toluene were carried out on activated carbon fixed-bed. The variations of equilibrium adsorption capacity according to type and fraction of binary gas were investigated. In case of binary gases composed of acetone/MEK and benzene/toluene, equilibrium adsorption capacities of MEK and toluene were increased according to the increase of fraction of MEK and toluene, but equilibrium adsorption capacities of acetone and benzene were decreased. In case of binary gases composed of MEK/benzene and MEK/toluene, equilibrium adsorption capacities of benzene and toluene were increased according to the increase of fraction of benzene and toluene, but equilibrium adsorption capacities of MEK was decreased.
This study was carried out in order to investigate the relationship of antioxidant enzyme activity, lipid oxidation, and aroma pattern of Hanwoo (Korean cattle) beef for 8 d at $15^{\circ}C/RH$ 100% under 0% $O_2$/20% $CO_2/80%\;N_2$, 25% $O_2$/20% $CO_2/55%\;N_2$, 50% $O_2$/20% $CO_2/30%\;N_2$, and 75% $O_2$/20% $CO_2/5%\;N_2$-conditions. The reduction of $O_2$ and the induction of $CO_2$ were shown in the 25-75% $O_2$-groups during storage and total change rates of $O_2$ and $CO_2$ were followed in order: 25%>50%>75%. Catalase activity was not significantly different among all groups. During storage, glutathione peroxidase activity decreased by increasing the $O_2$ concentration and was followed at 8 d in order: 0%>25%>50%>75% (p<0.05). From 2 d of storage, TBARS content had significant (p<0.05) differences in order: 0%>25%>50%>75%. The CIE $L^*$ value was higher (p<0.05) in the 25-75% $O_2$-groups, compared with the 0% $O_2$-group. During the first time, the CIE $a^*$ value was higher (p<0.05) in order: 0%<25%<50%<75% but was lower (p<0.05) in the 25-75% $O_2$-groups from 2 d of storage than in the 0% $O_2$-group. The CIE $b^*$ value was higher (p<0.05) in the 25-75% $O_2$-groups than in the 0% $O_2$-group and had significant (p<0.05) differences at 0 and 8 d in order: 0%<25%<50%<75%. Aroma patterns with the electronic nose were clearly discriminated between the 0% $O_2$-groups and the 25-75% $O_2$-groups at 8 d of storage. Therefore, high oxygen reduced stabilities of antioxidant enzymes, lipid oxidation, and color in Hanwoo beef. Furthermore, antioxidant enzyme activities and lipid oxidation could affect aroma patterns.
The reaction characteristics of Ni/CeO2-X which is highly efficient at a low temperature was investigated for an application to carbon dioxide methanation process. The CeO2-X support was obtained by the heat treatment of Ce(NO3)3 at 400 ℃ and the catalyst was prepared by impregnation process. The operating parameters of the experiment were the internal pressure of the reactor, the composition of oxygen, methane, and hydrogen sulfide in the inlet gas and the reaction temperature. When Ni/CeO2-X was used for the carbon dioxide methanation reaction, the CO2 conversion rate increased by more than 25% as the pressure increased from 1 to 3 bar. The increase was large at a low reaction temperature. When both oxygen and methane were in the inlet gas, the CO2 conversion rate of the catalyst decreased by up to 16 and 4%, respectively. As the concentration of oxygen and methane increased, the reduction rate of the CO2 conversion rate tended to increase. In addition, the hydrogen sulfide in the inlet gas reduced the CO2 conversion rate by up to 7% and caused catalyst deactivation. The results of this study will be useful as basic data for the carbon dioxide methanation process.
Conventional nickel-based catalyst processes used for dry reforming reactions have high activation temperatures and problems such as carbon deposition and metal sintering on the active sites of the catalyst surface. In this study, the characteristics of butane dry reforming reaction were investigated by using DBD plasma combined with catalytic process and compared with existing catalyst alone process. The physical and chemical properties of the catalysts were investigated using a surface area & pore size analyzer, XRD, SEM and TEM. Using $10%Ni/{\gamma}-Al_2O_3$ at $580^{\circ}C$, in the case of the catalyst+plasma process, the conversion of carbon dioxide and butane were improved by about 30% than catalyst alone process. When the catalyst+plasma process, the conversion of carbon dioxide and butane and the hydrogen production concentration are enhanced by the influence of various active species generated by the plasma. In addition, it was found that the particle size of the catalyst is decreased by the plasma in the reaction process, and the degree of dispersion of the catalyst is increased to improve the efficiency.
Ti-SBA-15 catalysts doped with lanthanide ions (Ln/Ti-SBA-15) were successfully synthesized using conventional hydrothermal method. In addition, they were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, DRS, BET, and PL. The activity of these materials on the photocatalytic decomposition of methylene blue under ultraviolet light irradiation was also examined. Ti-SBA-15 catalysts doped with various lanthanide ions maintained their mesoporous structure. The pore size and pore volume of Ln/Ti-SBA-15 materials decreased but their surface area increased upon the doping of lanthanide ion. Ln/Ti-SBA-15 materials exhibited the type IV nitrogen isotherm with desorption hysteresis loop type H2, which was characteristic of mesoporous materials. The size of hysteresis increased in the doping of lanthanide ions on Ti-SBA-15 material. There was no absorption in the visible region (> 400 nm) regardless of the doping of lanthanide ions to TiO2 particles, while the broad bands at 220 nm appeared at the Ln/Ti-SBA-15 samples, indicating the framework incorporation of titanium into SBA-15. 1 mol% Pr/ Ti-SBA-15 catalysts showed the highest photocatalytic activity on the decomposition of methylene blue but the Ti-SBA-15 catalysts doped with Eu, Er, and Nd ions showed lower activity compared to pure Ti-SBA-15 catalyst. The PL peaks appeared at about 410 nm at all catalysts while the excitonic PL signal was proportional to the photocatalytic activity for the decomposition of methylene blue.
The adsorption and desorption behavior of biofilter-medium was investigated on the performance of an adsorption column. Continuous flow-isothermal adsorption experiments were performed to treat waste air containing such a VOC as ethanol under the same condition of > 90% relative humidity as the condition of the feed to a biofilter process. In case of feeding waste air containing ethanol of 1,000 ppmv (or 2,050 mg ethanol/$m^3$) to the adsorption system at the rate of 2 L/min, the onsets of its breakthrough and reaching the state of dynamic equilibrium at the exit had been delayed 10 and 3 times, respectively, later than those at the 1st stage sampling port. Moreover, in case of 2,000 ppmv (or 4,100 mg ethanol/$m^3$), they had been delayed 9 and 3 times, respectively. Thus, regardless of feeding concentration, the ratios of delaying period were observed to be quite consistent each other at the exit of the adsorption column. With regard to the period of desorption, the ratios of delaying period were consistent each other to be 1.5 for both cases. In addition, the effect of microbial activity and sterilization-process was studied on adsorption equilibrium. The ethanol concentration in the vapor phase of vials packed with sterilized granular activated carbon (GAC) was quite consistent to that with unsterilized GAC. However, the ethanol concentrations in the vapor phase of vials packed with unsterilized compost and the unsterilized mixture of GAC and compost were higher than those with sterilized compost and the sterilized mixture of GAC and compost, respectively.
$N_2$ doped $TiO_2$ nano-sized powder was prepared using a DC arc plasma jet and investigated with XRD, BET, SEM, TEM, and photo-catalytic decomposition. Recently the research interest about the nano-sized $TiO_2$ powder has been increased to improve its photo-catalytic activity for the removal of environmental pollutants. Nitrogen gas, reacting gas, and titanium tetrachloride ($TiCl_4$) were used as the raw materials and injected into the plasma reactor to synthesize the $N_2$ doped $TiO_2$ power. The particle size and XRD peaks of the synthesized powder were analyzed as a function of the flow rate of the nitrogen gas. Also, the characteristics of the photo-catalytic decomposition using the prepared powder were studied. For comparing the photo-catalytic decomposition performance of $TiO_2$ powder with that of $TiO_2$ coating, $TiO_2$ thin films were prepared by the spin coating and the pulsed laser deposition. For the results of the acetaldehyde decomposition, the photo-catalytic activity of $TiO_{2-x}N_x$ powder was higher than that of the pure $TiO_2$ powder in the visible light region. For the methylene blue decomposition, the decomposition efficiency of $TiO_2$ powder was also higher than that of $TiO_2$ film.

Pyrolytic characteristics of mixed plastics containing 22 wt.% HDPE, 17 wt.% LDPE, 27 wt.% PP, 12 wt.% PS, 16 wt.% ABS, 6 wt.% PVC have been studied in the batch-type microreactor of stainless steel. Thermal degradation experiments were performed at temperature of $410{\sim}450^{\circ}C$. The yield of each pyrolytic products were obtained by the weight measurement and molecular weight distribution of pyrolytic liquid products determined by the GC-SIMDIS method. It was shown that the yield and molecular weight of pyrolytic liquid product were decreased with the increase of reaction temperature and time. It was know that 20wt% of PVC composing of the mixed plastics was converted to the gas products of chloride during the pyrolysis process. The chain-end scission rate parameter was determined to be 50.2 kcal/mole of mixed plastics by the Arrhenius plot.
Plasma treatment is frequently used to increase surface functionality and surface activity. It enables to improve various surface properties such as catalytic selectivity, printability, and interfacial adhesion between various materials. Surface or the ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) is exposed under an atmospheric pressure plasma torch (APPT), generated by dielectric barrier discharge (DBD), and the treated surfaces are systemically investigated. Argon, air, and oxygen are used as a processing gas. Properties of the treated EVA surfaces are investigated by the zeta-potential measurements and surface free energies. It is shown that the plasma treatment leads to a drastic increase of surface functional groups of EVA, as the increase of its adhesion energy ($G_{IC}$). Therefore, it is concluded that the APPT process is an effective means to improve adhesion of EVA and polyurethane (PU).
