Vibration Characteristics Evaluation According to Natural Periods of Structures and Location of a Sky-bridge (구조물의 고유진동주기 및 스카이브릿지 설치위치에 따른 진동특성평가)

  • Recently, studies of vibration control performance improvement of tall buildings connected by a sky-bridge have been conducted. In this study, the effect of difference of natural vibration periods of two buildings and install location of a sky-bridge on vibration control performance has been investigated. To this end, 40-story and 50-story building structures were selected as example structures. Analytical models were developed by varying the natural period difference ratio from 1.0 to 1.5. Artificial earthquake load based on KBC2009 was used as an excitation for time history analyses. Based on numerical simulation results, it has been shown that control performance for displacement and velocity of tall buildings connected by a sky-bridge is improved as the difference of natural periods of two buildings increases and the linked story becomes higher. However, in the case of acceleration response, it shows a counter trend compared to displacement and velocity responses.

  • In this study, seismic design in pipeline of pressurized water supply system of water extinguishing system has been carried out. This study described a generation of artificial earthquake wave compatible with seismic design spectrum, and also determined equivalent static loads to analyzed the response spectra acceleration by the simulated earthquake motion. This study constructed powerful engineering base for seismic design, and presented equivalent static analysis method for seismic design of water and gas extinguishing piping system. Also, this study readied basis that can apply seismic design and performance estimation of fire fighting system as well as pipeline of water extinguishing system from result of this research. Hereafter, if additional research by earthquake magnitude and ground kind is approached, reliance elevation, safety raising and performance based design of fire fighting system see to achieve.

  • In this study, wireless measurement technique for human motion was developed to monitor movement disorder patients during their daily life. MICA, TinyOS, and nesC, developed by UC Berkeley, were used as wireless sensor, its software platform, and programming language. The human motion data, generated by two axial accelerometer(ADXL202) was transmitted to PDA(iPaq3630) by 916Mhz short range communication chip(TR1000). It could be stored at PDA by simple Windows CE programming. To test the developed device, it was attached at human chest and the acquired data was shown as a graph during his motion of sitting, standing, and lying. The result showed that human motion could be logged without any hooking and constraints. Therefore, this device can be used to monitor patient's movement disorder and activity of daily life(ADL).

  • 스마트 도금공장을 구축하기 위해서는 도금액 내부의 화학 물질 농도 변화를 측정할 수 있는 화학 센서 기술이 필수적으로 요구된다. 와트욕은 대표적인 고속 니켈 도금액 중 하나로 기본적으로 황산니켈, 염화니켈, 보릭산의 염과 함께 케리어(type-1 광택제), 광택제(type 2-광택제), 응력 제어제 등의 유기 첨가제로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 유기 첨가제는 전차된 니켈층의 두께 균일도, 조도, 미세 구조, 내부 응력 등 다양한 특성을 제어하며, 정밀한 농도 관리가 필수적으로 요구되나, 분석 기술의 부재로 인하여 지금까지도 대부분의 액관리는 할셀법이나 작업자의 경험에 의존하고 있다. Cyclic voltammetry stripping(CVS) 방법은 전기화학 분석 과정에서 나타나는 첨가제의 가속, 감속 특성 등과 여기에 수반되는 stripping peak의 변화를 이용하여 개별 첨가제의 농도를 측정하는 방법이며, 지금까지 인쇄회로기판의 비아필 공정, 전해 동박 제조, 반도체 배선 등 구리도금 산업 전반에 걸쳐 첨가제 관리에 효과적으로 적용되고 있다. 그러나 수소 발생으로 인한 stripping 효율 문제로 인하여 니켈, 주석, 아연 등 표준 환원 전위가 높은 금속 도금액 내부 첨가제 농도 측정은 아직 어려운 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 이 문제를 극복하기 위해 염소를 과량 첨가한 구리 도금액을 CVS 분석의 base 용액으로 이용하여 니켈 도금액 내부 여러 광택제 (polyetylene glycol(PEG) 계열, thiourea 계열, 2-butyne-1,4-diol 등) 농도를 측정하는 법을 제시하였다. 제시된 방법은 CVS 분석 과정에서 구리-염소 사이의 상호 작용으로 인해 생성되는 3가지 stripping peak의 상대적인 크기 변화가 첨가제 농도에 따라 영향을 받는다는 사실에 기반하였다. 본 연구에서는 여기에 관한 원인에 대해 고찰하였으며, 제시된 방법을 통해 광택제 계열 첨가제 농도 측정을 선택적으로 할 수 있다는 것을 증명하였다.

Light-Weight Mobile VR Platform using HMD with 6 Axis (6 축센서를 갖는 HMD 경량 모바일 VR Platform)

  • Recently VR environment is used in many areas including mobile learning, smart factory. However HMD(head-mounted display) is required to a dedicated and expensive system with high-end specification. When designing a VR system, it is needed to handle performance, mobility and usability. Many VR applications need to handle diverse sensors and user inputs continuously in a streaming manner. In this paper we design a VR mobile platform and implement a low-cost mobile VR HMD running on the platform. The VR HMD supports 3D contents delivery in a mobile manner. It is used to detect the motion detection based on angle value of a VR player from accelerator and gyro sensor. The MPU-6050, 6-axis sensor, is used to get a sensory value and the sensory value is taken as an input to a VR rendering server on a Unity game engine that is generated 3D images.

Measurements of Ablations on Nozzle Throats of KL-3 Engines Using Image Analysis (영상분석을 통한 KL-3 엔진 노즐목 삭마량 측정)

  • In this research, it is intended to measure shape of the nozzle throat of the KL-3 engine, which is the main engine of the KSR-III rocket. For the purpose, an image-based method was invented to replace the 3D pointer, which is actually inaccessible to such large scale engines. As a result, our equipment showed satisfactory Performances. Analysing the results of experiments, we find that the pattern of ablation is determined by the spray pattern and that the process of thermal ablation phenomena can be categorized in three regimes - the first regime that the shape of nozzle throat is maintained and ablation is negligible, the second regime that saw-tooth form is developed and ablation is accelerated, and the third regime that the saw-tooth form is already established and the growth of ablation rate is reduced Also, we find that the ratio of area increase after 60 seconds combustion is +5.82% and conclude that the ratio is acceptable and satisfactory.

반도체 및 디스플레이 세정 공정용 $CO_2$ 클러스터 장비의 클러스터 발생 특성 분석

  • 표면에 부착된 나노/마이크로 입자는 다양한 분야에서 오염물질로 작용한다. 특히 형상이 미세하고 공정 단계가 복잡한 반도체 및 디스플레이 등의 전자 소자 공정에서 미치는 영향이 크다. 따라서 입자상 오염물질의 제거에 관하여 상용화된 습식 세정 방법이 다양하게 존재하지만 표면 손상, 화학 반응, 부산물, 세정 효율 등 여러 가지 문제점이 있어 새로운 세정 방법이 요구된다. 이에 건식 세정 방법, 그 중에서도 입자의 충돌을 통해 제거하는 방법인 에어로졸 세정, 필렛 세정 등이 개발되었으나 마이크로 크기로 생성되는 입자로 인하여 형상의 손상이 크다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 나노 단위로 기체/고체 혼합물만 생성하여 세정하는 가스 클러스터 세정 방법을 이용하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 하였다. 클러스터 세정 장비를 이용한 표면 처리는 충돌에 의한 제거에 기반한다. 따라서 생성 및 가속되는 클러스터로부터 대상으로 전달되는 운동량의 정도가 세정 특성에 영향을 미치며 이는 생성되는 클러스터의 크기에 종속적이다. 생성 클러스터의 크기 분포는 분사 거리, 유량, 분사 각도, 노즐 냉각 온도 등의 변수에 관한 함수이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 $CO_2$ 클러스터를 이용한 세정 특성을 정의 및 제어하기 위하여 생성되는 클러스터 특성에 관하여 이론적, 수치 해석적, 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저, $CO_2$의 물리적 특성 및 이를 이용한 특정 크기 오염 물질을 제거하는데 요구되는 임계 클러스터 크기 계산을 이론적으로 구하였다. 이는 오염물질의 부착력과 클러스터의 운동량 전달에 의한 제거력의 비교를 통해 이루어졌다. 두 번째로 클러스터 크기분포를 수치 해석적으로 예측하기 위하여 각 조건에 대하여 유동해석을 수행하고 이를 통해 구해진 노즐 내 기체의 냉각 속도를 GDE (General Dynamic Equation) 계산에 대입하여 구하였다. 마지막으로 PBMS(Particle Beam Mass Spectrometer)를 이용하여 실험적으로 클러스터 크기분포를 각 조건에 대하여 구할 수 있었다. 또한 크기 분포 경향에 대한 간접적 확인을 위하여 포토레지스트가 코팅된 웨이퍼에 클러스터의 충격으로 생성된 크레이터 크기의 경향을 분석하였다. 이와 같은 방법에 의하여 생성되는 클러스터는 노즐의 유량 증가, 온도 상승에 각각 비례하여 작아지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Development of a Novel Step Detection Algorithm for Gait Evaluation of Patients with Hemiplegia Based on Trunk Accelerometer (뇌졸중으로 인한 편마비 환자의 보행평가를 위한 체중심 가속도센서 기반의 새로운 보 검출 알고리즘 개발)

  • In this study, we have developed a novel step detection algorithm for gait evaluation of patients with hemiplegia based on trunk accelerometry device. For this, we have used a bandpass filter and a least square acceleration (LSA) filter which is characterized by emphasizing the peak or valley point of the acceleration signals for each 3-axis accelerometer signals. To evaluate the algorithm, the detected steps by developed algorithm and real steps by the motion analysis system were compared. As a result, we could obtain the sensitivity of 96.44%, the specificity of 99.94% and the accuracy of 99.90% for the patients' data sets and the sensitivity of 100%, the specificity of 99.93% and the accuracy of 99.93% for the normal data sets. In conclusion, the developed algorithm is useful for the step detection for patients with hemiplegia as well as normal subjects.

  • This paper is presented to study the error minimization of angular velocity for AGV(autonomous ground vehicle). The error minimization of angular velocity is related to localization technique which is the most important technique for autonomous vehicle. Accelerometer, yaw gyro and electronic compass have been used to measure angular velocity. And methods for error minimization of angular velocity have been actively studied through probabilistic methods and sensor fusion for AGVs. However, those sensors still occure accumulated error by mathematical error, system characters of each sensor, and computational cost are increased greatly when several sensor are used to correct accumulated error. Therefore, this paper studies about error minimization of angular velocity that just uses encoder and gyro. To experiment, we use autonomous vehicle which is made by ourselves. In experimental result, we verified that the localization error of proposed method has even less than the localization errors which we just used encoder and gyro respectively.

  • Aircraft have a cross axis of the three each other for maintenance of aircraft position. It is called roll axis, pitch axis and yaw axis. Attitude reference system is a sensor for detecting a change of the three axis. In this paper, mobile robot platform install part of Pan-tilt and HMD attitude reference system, because of we use control camera. The acceleration sensor is very weak a lot of noise to vibration, also problem with data from process of mapping to the data problems to arise. However to solve this problem, we removed the average filter and Cosine Interpolation for Pan-tilt. Using capacity evaluation for outdoor environment for we are proposing. Mobile robot has HMD and equipped Pan-tilt. We control mobile robot camera. In this experiment result is little bit delay happening, however Pan-tilt camera is relatively stable control checking. Also, we will checking any terrain and slopes is no problem for mobile robot driving skills.
