  • 당사는 포항제철에서 축적한 Mill 드라이브에 대한 경험을 바탕으로 전류지령치를 2.77msec 이내에 overshoot없이 추종할 수 있는 고성능 DC 전동기 구동 시스템을 개발하여 64대의 전동기가 연동 운전되는 Bar Mill Line에 적용하였다. 그림 1.은 Bar Mill Line의 공정도이며 여기서 LH, SH는 수평 Mill을, LV, SV는 수직Mill을 의미한다. 본고에서는 당사가 개발한 제품을 중심으로 제철 plant의 고성능 DC 전동기 가변속 구동시스템에 대해 기술한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 부밴드에서의 수렴 성능 향상을 위하여 새로운 블록 LMS 알고리듬과 부밴드 각 적응필터에 가변 적응이득을 사용하는 가변 적응이득 블록 LMS 알고리듬을 제안한다. 이들 알고리듬들을 유도하기 위해 새로운 비용함수를 제안하며, 유도된 비용함수는 적응 필터 계수에 대해 2차 형식인 특징을 가진다. 제안한 알고리듬의 수렴 성능을 평가하기 위하여 부밴드 LMS 알고리듬과 가변 적응이득 알고리듬을 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통해 비교함으로서 성능의 우수성을 입증하였다.

  • For the development of wind turbine, generally simulator is used. Simulator include wind turbine components. e.g blades, pitch and pitching method, rotor, yaw system, tower, drive train and so on. Few the more, it include a external circumstance. e.g wind speed, wind direction, air density. these basic parameters be used for the control of wind turbine by wind turbine controller in wind turbine simulator. The wind turbine controller can be designed in the wind turbine simulator. But a developer must make the real control system that will be made using PLC or PC or other processor. The developer must verify the function of control system. that is control algorithm , I/O function, communication, sequence and so on. This verification is possible if we substitute the real wind turbine control system for wind turbine controller in the simulator.

  • An experimental study has been peformed to develop a scheme for fault detection and diagnosis(FDD) in a vapor compression refrigeration system. This study is to analyze fault effect on the system performance and to find efficient diagnosis rules for easy determination of abnormal system operation. The refrigeration system was operated with a variable speed compressor to modulate cooling capacity. The FDD system was designed to consider transient load conditions. Four major faults were considered, and each fault was detected over wide operating load range by separating the system response to the load change. Rule-based method was used to diagnose and classify the system faults. From the experimental results, COP degradation due to the faults in a variable speed system is severer than that in a constant speed system. The method developed in this study can be used in the fault detection of refrigeration systems with a variable speed compressor.

Analysis and Estimation of Vibration Characteristics of a Reciprocal Compressor with Variable Rotating Speed (가변속 압축기의 진동특성 분석 및 예측)

  • This paper deals with the vibration characteristics of a reciprocal compressor with variable rotating speed according to the change of operating frequencies. The equation of motion and exciting force of the equivalent compressor model were formulated, and the vibration responses at operating frequencies were predicted. The predicted results were compared with the measured results. Although the predicted results had little errors in operating condition, it represented good agreement in general. Especially, the natural frequencies obtained from the measurement were similar to those calculated by the eigenvalue problem of the equivalent model. The procedure and results in this paper can be utilized to the identification of the vibration characteristics of new compressor models.
