Exploring On-line Consumption Tendency of Sports 4.0 Market Consumer: Focused on Sports Goods Consumption by Generation of Working Age Population (스포츠 4.0 시장 소비자의 온라인 소비성향 탐색: 생산 가능인구의 세대별 스포츠 용품 소비를 중심으로)

  • This study sought to explore the online consumption propensity of sports goods by generation of the productive population and to provide basic data to predict the future consumption market by segmenting online consumers in the sports 4.0 market. Therefore, this survey was conducted on those who consumed sports goods among the generation-specific groups (Generation Y and above, Z) of the productive population, and a total of 478 people's data were applied to the final analysis. Data processing was conducted with SPSS statistics (ver.21.0), frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis of re-examination reliability, reliability analysis, and decision tree analysis. According to the online consumption propensity of sports goods by generation of the productive population, there is a high probability of being classified as Generation Z group if the factors of leisure, joy, and environment are high. In addition, the classification accuracy of such a model was 69.7%.

A Theoretical Analysis on the Demand for Education and Residential Location (교육수요와 거주지선택에 대한 이론적 분석)

  • We use the properties of competitive location equilibrium to study the relationship between the demand for education and the choice of primary residential location. Consumers can work and live in a comparatively high wage place where there are few education opportunities, or live in a place where education is available and commute to work. If education and employment are each location-specific, there are pooling equilibria in which consumers locate according to their preference for education. In general, the stronger the taste for education, the greater the attraction of living close to the education site and the lower the demand for other goods, including housing. Exploring the effects of the model parameters on the spatial distribution of consumers, we find that a higher frequency of trips taken to the education site, a shorter distance between the work place and the education site, or a greater out-of-pocket education cost each leads to a wider range of consumer types selecting to reside at the education location. We also find that a higher wage lowers the range of consumers who select to live near the education site.

Analysis of Determinants of Farmland Price Using Spatio-temporal Autoregressive Model (시공간자기회귀모형을 이용한 농지가격 결정요인 분석)

  • Farmland transaction prices are affected by various factors such as politics, society, and the economy. The purpose of this study is to identify multiple factors that affect the farmland transaction price due to changes in the actual transaction price of farmland by farmland unit from 2016 to 2020. There are several previous studies analyzed the determinants of farmland transaction prices by considering spatial dependency. However, in the case of land transactions where the time and space of the transaction affect simultaneously, if only spatial dependence is considered, there is a limitation in that it cannot reflect spatial dependence that occurs over time. In order to solve these limitations, To address these limitations, this study builds a spatio-temporal autoregressive model that simultaneously considers spatial and temporal dependencies using farmland transactions in Jinju City as an example. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that there was significant spatio-temporal dependence in farmland transactions within the previous 30 days. This means that if the previous farmland transaction was carried out at a high price, it has a spatio-temporal spillover effect that indirectly affects the increase in the price of other nearby farmland transactions. The study also found that various location attributes and socioeconomic attributes have a significant impact on farmland transaction prices. The spatio-temporal autoregressive model of farmland prices constructed in this study can be used to improve the prediction accuracy of farmland prices in the farmland transaction market in the future, and it is expected to be useful in drawing policy implications for stabilizing farmland prices

A Study on the Clustering Method of Row and Multiplex Housing in Seoul Using K-Means Clustering Algorithm and Hedonic Model (K-Means Clustering 알고리즘과 헤도닉 모형을 활용한 서울시 연립·다세대 군집분류 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Recent centrally the downtown area, the transaction between the row housing and multiplex housing is activated and platform services such as Zigbang and Dabang are growing. The row housing and multiplex housing is a blind spot for real estate information. Because there is a social problem, due to the change in market size and information asymmetry due to changes in demand. Also, the 5 or 25 districts used by the Seoul Metropolitan Government or the Korean Appraisal Board(hereafter, KAB) were established within the administrative boundaries and used in existing real estate studies. This is not a district classification for real estate researches because it is zoned urban planning. Based on the existing study, this study found that the city needs to reset the Seoul Metropolitan Government's spatial structure in estimating future housing prices. So, This study attempted to classify the area without spatial heterogeneity by the reflected the property price characteristics of row housing and Multiplex housing. In other words, There has been a problem that an inefficient side has arisen due to the simple division by the existing administrative district. Therefore, this study aims to cluster Seoul as a new area for more efficient real estate analysis. This study was applied to the hedonic model based on the real transactions price data of row housing and multiplex housing. And the K-Means Clustering algorithm was used to cluster the spatial structure of Seoul. In this study, data onto real transactions price of the Seoul Row housing and Multiplex Housing from January 2014 to December 2016, and the official land value of 2016 was used and it provided by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(hereafter, MOLIT). Data preprocessing was followed by the following processing procedures: Removal of underground transaction, Price standardization per area, Removal of Real transaction case(above 5 and below -5). In this study, we analyzed data from 132,707 cases to 126,759 data through data preprocessing. The data analysis tool used the R program. After data preprocessing, data model was constructed. Priority, the K-means Clustering was performed. In addition, a regression analysis was conducted using Hedonic model and it was conducted a cosine similarity analysis. Based on the constructed data model, we clustered on the basis of the longitude and latitude of Seoul and conducted comparative analysis of existing area. The results of this study indicated that the goodness of fit of the model was above 75 % and the variables used for the Hedonic model were significant. In other words, 5 or 25 districts that is the area of the existing administrative area are divided into 16 districts. So, this study derived a clustering method of row housing and multiplex housing in Seoul using K-Means Clustering algorithm and hedonic model by the reflected the property price characteristics. Moreover, they presented academic and practical implications and presented the limitations of this study and the direction of future research. Academic implication has clustered by reflecting the property price characteristics in order to improve the problems of the areas used in the Seoul Metropolitan Government, KAB, and Existing Real Estate Research. Another academic implications are that apartments were the main study of existing real estate research, and has proposed a method of classifying area in Seoul using public information(i.e., real-data of MOLIT) of government 3.0. Practical implication is that it can be used as a basic data for real estate related research on row housing and multiplex housing. Another practical implications are that is expected the activation of row housing and multiplex housing research and, that is expected to increase the accuracy of the model of the actual transaction. The future research direction of this study involves conducting various analyses to overcome the limitations of the threshold and indicates the need for deeper research.

Real-time information effect of patent listing disclosure (특허권 취득 공시와 한국유가증권시장의 실시간 정보효율성에 관한 연구)

  • Utilizing intra-day volume weighted average price (VWAP) based on 1 minute return data of stocks traded on the Korean Stock Exchange, this paper examines and analyzes abnormal returns in reaction to patent listing disclosures as well as the cumulative abnormal returns, traded volumes, the interaction of VWAP spreads, the reaction of volumes, the reaction of VWAP spreads and the realized returns obtained from trading using an event driven arbitrage strategy. The results of the aforementioned research topics are follows. First, our analysis suggests that on average, 0.92% positive cumulative returns arise 1 minute after the patent listing disclosure announcement with high statistical significance, thereby reconfirming that the Korean stock market is a semi-strong form of the efficient market. Employing 3 separate panel tests differentiated by the size factor, we find that the abnormal returns of small sized stocks were less than the returns of medium sized stocks, which goes to support recent research findings suggesting that the size premium is no longer existent in the Korean stock market. Secondly, we show that among the event driven type strategies, the most outstanding realized returns are from the market making strategies. Furthermore, placing market order trades only at the bid or ask price resulted in negative returns. This implies that strategies utilizing a combination of market orders and limit orders, order cancelations ratios and order flows can enhance realized returns.

  • 관개나 수분수지 규명을 위한 기본적인 자료는 토양수분 함량이다. 그러나, 포장상태에서의 토양수분 함량은 직접 측정하는 것이 쉽지 않기 때문에 많은 경우 건조기를 이용한 중량수분 함량측정 방법을 이용하거나 토양수분 포텐셜 측정용인 텐시오미터를 이용한 토양수분의 에너지 특성을 관개에 활용하는 것이 현실이었다. 중량수분 함량은 시료를 채취해서 건조하기 때문에 시료채취 당시의 토양수분 함량을 아는 것이 어렵고, 토양수분 포텐셜은 에너지를 측정하는 것이기 때문에 이 역시 토양의 수분함량을 얻는 것이 불가능 하다. 따라서, 최근에 이런 측정상의 어려움을 극복하기 위해 여러 나라에서 포장에서의 토양수분 함량을 직접 측정하는 다양한 센서를 개발하고 있고 있다. 그 중 몇 가지는 현재 우리나라에 공급되고 있는데, 가격 등의 문제로 별로 알려져 있지는 않다. 센서는 현장에서 수분함량을 파악할 수 있는 장점이 있기 때문에 관개에 직접 적용이 가능하며 자동화시설이나 수분수지 모형 산정에도 활용할 수 있다. 본 시험은 우리나라에 소개되어 있는 몇 가지의 토양수분 측정용 센서를 현장에서 코어를 이용해 측정한 용적수분 함량과 비교하여 센서의 정확도나 이용 가능성을 검정하고자 하였다. 코어를 이용해 실측한 토양 용적수분 함량과 비교하고자 7종의 센서를 선택해 실험에 이용하였다. 가격이 비싼 것으로 알려진 TDR 형태의 센서가 2종이었으며, 나머지 5종은 FDR 형태의 센서였다. TDR 센서는 Soilmoisture사에서 제작한 MiniTrase와 Imko 사의 Trime이고, FDR은 Sentek사에서 개발한 EasyAG, EnviroSCAN과 Delta-T사에서 제작한 PR-1과 WET-2 및 Decagon사에서 제작한 $ECH_2O$ 센서였다. 실헙방법은 본량사양토인 포장에서 건조한 상태인 시험구와 물이 포화된 시험구를 만들어 놓고, 그곳에서 센서 종류별로, 측정 깊이별로 토양의 용적수분 함량을 측정하고, 센서로 측정한 위치 바로 옆에서 코어를 이용해 토양시료를 채취하고 이를 건조기에 건조해 용적수분 함량을 측정하였다. 비교결과 TDR인 MiniTrase가 결정계수$(r^2)$가 0.964이고 표준오차(SE)가 0.01로 좋은 결과를 보여줬고 WET-2가 $r^2$와 SE가 0.932와 0.013이였으며 EasyAG는 0.877과 0.0211, EnviroSCAN은 0.803과 0.0259의 값을 보였다. 일반적으로 토양수분 함량 측정오차가 1% 미만인 센서가 정확한 수분함량 해석을 유도할 것이지만 위의 센서 중 MiniTrase를 비롯한 4개의 센서 정도가 토양의 수분 함량을 측정하는데 유용할 것이라는 결론을 얻었다.

Technology Innovation Activity and Default Risk (기술혁신활동이 부도위험에 미치는 영향 : 한국 유가증권시장 및 코스닥시장 상장기업을 중심으로)

  • Technology innovation activity plays a pivotal role in constructing the entrance barrier for other firms and making process improvement and new product. and these activities give a profit increase and growth to firms. Thus, technology innovation activity can reduce the default risk of firms. However, technology innovation activity can also increase the firm's default risk because technology innovation activity requires too much investment of the firm's resources and has the uncertainty on success. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of technology innovation activity on the default risk of firms. This study's sample consists of manufacturing firms listed on the Korea Securities Market and The Kosdaq Market from January 1,2000 to December 31, 2008. This study makes use of R&D intensity as an proxy variable of technology innovation activity. The default probability which proxies the default risk of firms is measured by the Merton's(l974) debt pricing model. The main empirical results are as follows. First, from the empirical results, it is found that technology innovation activity has a negative and significant effect on the default risk of firms independent of the Korea Securities Market and Kosdaq Market. In other words, technology innovation activity reduces the default risk of firms. Second, technology innovation activity reduces the default risk of firms independent of firm size, firm age, and credit score. Third, the results of robust analysis also show that technology innovation activity is the important factor which decreases the default risk of firms. These results imply that a manager must show continuous interest and investment in technology innovation activity of one's firm. And a policymaker also need design an economic policy to promote the technology innovation activity of firms.

  • Personalized smart devices such as smartphones and smart pads are widely used. Unlike traditional feature phones, theses smart devices allow users to choose a variety of functions, which support not only daily experiences but also business operations. Actually, there exist a huge number of applications accessible by smart device users in online and mobile application markets. Users can choose apps that fit their own tastes and needs, which is impossible for conventional phone users. With the increase in app demand, the tastes and needs of app users are becoming more diverse. To meet these requirements, numerous apps with diverse functions are being released on the market, which leads to fierce competition. Unlike offline markets, online markets have a limitation in that purchasing decisions should be made without experiencing the items. Therefore, online customers rely more on item-related information that can be seen on the item page in which online markets commonly provide details about each item. Customers can feel confident about the quality of an item through the online information and decide whether to purchase it. The same is true of online app markets. To win the sales competition against other apps that perform similar functions, app developers need to focus on writing app descriptions to attract the attention of customers. If we can measure the effect of app descriptions on sales without regard to the app's price and quality, app descriptions that facilitate the sale of apps can be identified. This study intends to provide such a quantitative result for app developers who want to promote the sales of their apps. For this purpose, we collected app details including the descriptions written in Korean from one of the largest app markets in Korea, and then extracted keywords from the descriptions. Next, the impact of the keywords on sales performance was measured through our econometric model. Through this analysis, we were able to analyze the impact of each keyword itself, apart from that of the design or quality. The keywords, comprised of the attribute and evaluation of each app, are extracted by a morpheme analyzer. Our model with the keywords as its input variables was established to analyze their impact on sales performance. A regression analysis was conducted for each category in which apps are included. This analysis was required because we found the keywords, which are emphasized in app descriptions, different category-by-category. The analysis conducted not only for free apps but also for paid apps showed which keywords have more impact on sales performance for each type of app. In the analysis of paid apps in the education category, keywords such as 'search+easy' and 'words+abundant' showed higher effectiveness. In the same category, free apps whose keywords emphasize the quality of apps showed higher sales performance. One interesting fact is that keywords describing not only the app but also the need for the app have asignificant impact. Language learning apps, regardless of whether they are sold free or paid, showed higher sales performance by including the keywords 'foreign language study+important'. This result shows that motivation for the purchase affected sales. While item reviews are widely researched in online markets, item descriptions are not very actively studied. In the case of the mobile app markets, newly introduced apps may not have many item reviews because of the low quantity sold. In such cases, item descriptions can be regarded more important when customers make a decision about purchasing items. This study is the first trial to quantitatively analyze the relationship between an item description and its impact on sales performance. The results show that our research framework successfully provides a list of the most effective sales key terms with the estimates of their effectiveness. Although this study is performed for a specified type of item (i.e., mobile apps), our model can be applied to almost all of the items traded in online markets.

A Study on the Convergence Determinants of Premium Bottled Water Purchase Demand (프리미엄 생수 수요에 대한 융합적 영향요인 분석)

  • This study aims to identify and analyze the main factors that determine the properties and buying behavior in the premium bottled select and analyze the degree of impact on the relevant variables are premium water demand. When applied to the truncated negative binomial model to derive the study results: The results of estimating the variables that affect the demand for premium mineral water are as follows. Premium bottled water demand of this group my purchases with a choice between buying behavior variables are significantly higher than the relative population. To also do a good ingredient water, it appeared to be on a statistically significant positive effect on the demand for the more groups you purchase a premium bottled water for the purpose of receiving special feeling, just buy purpose is called to drinking water does not significantly affect to be analyzed. Among demographic characteristics it showed that demand for premium bottled water purchases are significantly higher in women than in men, professional / clerical job, such as the military, college graduates were more consumer research as significant in comparison to the relative population. Taste and package design factors of premium bottled mineral water among the select attribute factors are having a significant positive impact on the purchasing demand, local conditions and cost factors have been estimated to be insignificant.

Manufacture of Immobilization Device (Vac-lok) and the Usefulness of Evaluation for Reproducibility of Patients in the Radiotherapy (환자의 재현성을 위한 고정장치(Vac-lok) 제작과 방사선치료에서 유용성 평가)

  • We manufactured the Vac-lok that can be applied to patient of special body shape and need to special set-up position and evaluated the usefulness in the radiation therapy. The manufacture Vac-lok, It was used EVA resin and biobeadform of a diameter 1.5 mm. carried out the test of functionality, structural and analyzed the relative reproducibility of phantoms and patients. During the total period of radiation therapy, Vacuum pressure bring variety to a very small amount in the test of functionality of the manufacture Vac-lok. But It was a negligible quantity. The manufacture Vac-lok improved the relative reproducibility of phantoms than the existing Vac-lok and tolerance has a confidence less than 4% error. Also, relative reproducibility of patient increased error than phantom in the antero-posterior and lateral plan. However, the maximum set-up error was less than ${\pm}\;2.3$ mm. In conclusion, If tolerance set-up error of radiotherapy is less than ${\pm}\;3$ mm, the manufacture Vac-lok was enough possible to use and improvement of reproducibility, considering supply with the Vac-lok made to measure of special patient that produced at a low price and without delay.
