급속응고에 의해 제조된 Fe-Nd-C 합금의 자기적 특성 (Magnetic Properties of Melt-spun Fe-Nd-C Alloys)

  • 급속응고법으로 Fe-Nd-C 합금을 제조하여 합금의 조성 및 제조 조건의 변화에 따른 상변화와 자기특성의 변화를 조사하였다. 강자성 $Fe_{14}Nd_2C_x$가 초정으로 정출할 수 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 냉각속도의 변화에 따른 as-spun 합금에서의 상변화를 조사해 본 결과,10m/s로 제조한 Fe-Nd-C 리본합금은 ${\alphs}-Fe$가 일차상, $Fe_{17}Nd_2C_x$가 이차상으로 존재하는 결정질이었으며. 20m/s에서는 ${\alpha}-Fe$의 정출이 억제되거나 비정질화하여, $Fe_{14}Nd_2C_x$가 일차상, ${\alpha}-Fe$가 이차상으로서 비정질상과 함께 존재하였다. 냉각속도의 증가에 따라 비정질화가 증가하여 30m/s에서는 대부분 비정질화되었으며,40m/s에서 비정질화가 완료되었다. 따라서 $Fe_{14}Nd_2C$는 as-spun 상태에서는 얻어지지 않고 주조합금의 경우와 마찬가지로 열처리를 통한 고상변태에 의해서만 얻을 수 있었다. $Fe_{14}Nd_2C$를 얻을 수 있는 유효온도구역은 주조합금의 경우보다 넓은 $700{\sim}900^{\circ}C$였고,비정질화가 완벽한 합금보다 다소 덜 완벽하거나 $Fe_{17}Nd_2C_x$와 비정질상이 혼합된 합금에서 열처리에 의한 보자력의 향상이 더욱 현저하였다. Fe를 다량 함유한 Fe-Nd-C 조성 중에서 높은 보자력이 기대되는 조성 범위는 극히 제한되어, $750{\sim}800^{\circ}C$에서 몇 분간의 열처리로 10kOe 이상의 높은 보자력을 얻을 수 있는 조성은 77~78 Fe, 7~8 C (at.%) 정도였다.

$\alpha$-SiC-WC 전도성 세라믹 복합체의 특성에 미치는 무가압 Annealing 온도 (Effect of Pressurless Annealing Temperature on the Properties of $\alpha$-SiC-WC Electroconductive Ceramic Composites.)

  • The composites were fabricated 61 vol.%$\alpha$-$\alpha$-SiC and 39vol.% WC powders with the liquid forming additives of 12wt% $Al_2$O$_3$+Y$_2$O$_3$ by pressureless annealing at 1700, 1800, 190$0^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours. The result of phase analysis of composites by XRD revealed $\alpha$-SiC(2H), WC, and YAG(Al$_{5}$ Y$_3$O$_{12}$ ) crystal phase. The relative density, the flexural strength, fracture toughness and Young's modulus showed respectively the highest value of 99.4%, 375.76㎫, 5.79㎫ㆍm$\frac{1}{2}$, and 106.43㎬ for composite by pressureless annealing temperature 190$0^{\circ}C$ at room temperature. The electrical resistivity showed the lowest value of 1.47${\times}$10$^{-3}$ $\Omega$$.$cm for composite by pressureless annealing temperature 190$0^{\circ}C$ at $25^{\circ}C$. The electrical resistivity of the $\alpha$-SiC-WC composites was all positive temperature cofficient resistance (PTCR) in the temperature ranges from $25^{\circ}C$ to 50$0^{\circ}C$.

심혈관계의 중추조절에 대한 Prostaglandin $F_{2{\alpha}}$의 영향 (Effect of Prostaglandin $F_{2{\alpha}}$ on the Central Regulation of Cardiovascular Effect in Conscious Rat)

  • This study was carried out in order to clarify whether the cardiovascular effect of prostaglandin(PG) $F_{2{\alpha}}$ might be centrally mediated. In unrestrained conscious rat, $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ was administered into the lateral ventricle. The mechanism of action was also studied by observing the interaction with several adrenergic antagonists injected subcutaneously, Indomethacin was administered into lateral ventricle to investigate the role of endogenous $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ on the central regulation of cardiovascular system. The results were as follows: 1) The intraventricular injection of $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ produced an increase in blood pressure and heart rate. 2) The pretreatment with phenoxybenzamine (2 mg/g, s.c.) inhited pressor, but not heart rate responses to the intraventricular injection of $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ $(2{\mu}g/kg)$. 3) The pretreatment with propranolol (1 mg/kg, s.c.) inhibited tachycardia, but not pressor responses to the intraventricular injection of $PGF_{2{\alpha}}(2{\mu}g/kg)$. 4) The intraventricular injection of indomethacin $(40{\mu}g/kg)$ could not induce significant changes in blood preesure and heart rate. 5) The result indicates that intraventricular injection of $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ produces pressor and tachycardia responses in the unanesthetized rat, and it is mediated primarily by centrally increased sympathetic outflow. But the endogenous $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ synthetized in the brain seems to play minor role in the direct regulation of cardiovascular system.

  • Let $T^{\alpha}_{\lambda}$(p, A, B) denote the class of functions $$f(z)=z^p-{\sum\limits^{\infty}_{k=1}}{\mid}a_{p+k}{\mid}z^{p+k}$$ which are regular and p valent in the unit disc U = {z: |z| <1} and satisfying the condition $\left|{\frac{{e^{ia}}\{{\frac{f^{\prime}(z)}{z^{p-1}}-p}\}}{(A-B){\lambda}p{\cos}{\alpha}-Be^{i{\alpha}}\{\frac{f^{\prime}(z)}{z^{p-1}}-p\}}}\right|$<1, $z{\in}U$, where 0<${\lambda}{\leq}1$, $-\frac{\pi}{2}$<${\alpha}$<$\frac{\pi}{2}$, $-1{\leq}A$<$B{\leq}1$, 0<$B{\leq}1$ and $p{\in}N=\{1,2,3,{\cdots}\}$. In this paper, we obtain sharp results concerning coefficient estimates, distortion theorem and radius of convexity for the class $T^{\alpha}_{\lambda}$(p, A, B). It is further shown that the class $T^{\alpha}_{\lambda}$(p, A, B) is closed under "arithmetic mean" and "convex linear combinations". We also obtain class preserving integral operators of the form $F(z)=\frac{p+c}{z^c}{\int^z_0t^{c-1}}f(t)dt$, c>-p, for the class $T^{\alpha}_{\lambda}$(p, A, B). Conversely when $F(z){\in}T^{\alpha}_{\lambda}$(p, A, B), radius of p valence of f(z) has also determined.

고정화 효소를 이용한 7$\alpha$-hydroxycephalosporin C의 합성 (Synthesis of 7$\alpha$-Hydroxycephalosporin C by Immobilized Enzyme)

  • Cephamycin C를 생산하는 몇가지 균주를 사용하여 cephalosporin C로부터 7$\alpha$-hydroxycephalosporin C로의 전환력을 조사하였다. 이들 균주중에서 cephalosporin 7$\alpha$-hydroxylase의 활성은 Streptomyces clavuligerus ATCC 27064가 가장 높게 나타났다. Streptomyces clavuligerus ATCC 27064로부터 얻은 조효소액을 정제한 후 activated DEAE-sphacel 레진에 고정화하여 기질인 cephalosporin C로부터 7$\alpha$-hydroxycephalosporin C를 생산하였다. 고정화에 의해서 생성된 물질을 ESI-Mass로 측정한 결과, 분자량 431로 나타났다. 또한 $^1H$ NMR 분석에 의해 고정화 효소에 의해 생성된 물질은 cephalosporin C로부터 얻어진 7$\alpha$-hydroxycephalosporin C임을 확인하였다.

교감신경절제 받은 신경병증성 통증 쥐 모델에서 Norepinephrine에 의해 유도된 기계적 이질통의 Rekindling의 기전 (Norepinephrine-Induced Rekindling of Mechanical Allodynia in Sympathectomized Neuropathic Rat)

  • Background: Sympathectomy relieves pain in sympathectically maintained pain, and subcutaneous injection of norepinephrine(NE) can rekindle mechanical allodynia. However, the mechanism of rekindling is not clear. The purpose of this study is to investigate which subtype of $\alpha$-adrenoceptor is involved in NE-induced rekindling of mechanical allodynia in sympathectomized neuropathic rats. Methods: Neuropathic injury was produced by tightly ligating the left L5 and L6 spinal nerves of 36 male Sprague-Dawley rats and bilateral lumbar sympathectomy was done at two weeks postoperatively. Starting at 7 days after sympathectomy, rekindling of mechanical allodynia was induced by NE and clonidine injected into the left paw, which was reversed by pretreatment of phentolamine and idazoxan. Mechanical allocynia was quantified by measuring the frequency of foot lifts to two von Frey filaments applied to the paw. Results: All tested rats displayed well-developed signs of mechanical allodynia at the left paw that were abolished by a bilateral lumbar sympathectomy. Subcutaneous (s.c.) injection of NE (0.05 ${\mu}g$) into the affected paw of sympathectomized neuropathic rats rekindled previous mechanical allodynia. These effects could be mimicked by an ${\alpha}_2$-receptor agonist clonidine, but not by an ${\alpha}_1$-receptor agonist phenylephrine. The NE-induced rekindling of mechanical allodynia was significantly reduced by prior s.c. injection of a mixed $\alpha$-receptor antagonist phentolamine (20${\mu}g$) and ${\alpha}_2$-receptor antagonist idazoxan(20${\mu}g$), but not by a ${\alpha}_1$-receptor antagonist terazosin (20${\mu}g$). The pretreatment of idazoxan produced dose-related inhibition of NE-induced rekindling of mechanical allodynia. The rekindling induced by ${\alpha}_2$-receptor agonist clonidine (5${\mu}g$) was also reversed by prior s.c. injection of ${\alpha}_2$-receptor antagonist idazoxan (20${\mu}g$). Conclusion: Subcutaneous injection of NE into the paw of sympathectomized neuropathic rats rekindles mechanical allodynia, which is reversed by an ${\alpha}_2$-, but not by an ${\alpha}_1$-receptor antagonist. Therefore, rekindling of mechanical allodynia in sympathectomized neuropathic rats is mediated by ${\alpha}_2$-adrenoceptor.

黃酸第一鐵로부터 含水酸化鐵生成에 關한 硏究 (A Study on the Formation of Hydrous Ferric Oxide from Ferrous Sulfate)

  • 황산제일철을 원료로 해서 함수산화철 안료를 제조하기 위한 실험이다. 황산제일철을 암모니아로 중화해서 Mohr's salt(ferrous ammonium sulfate)을 만들고 Mohr's salt의 농도를 Fe(II) 이온농도, 14${\sim}$72g/l, 수소이온농도를 pH3 또는 6으로 조절한뒤, 반응온도는 $90{\sim}100^{\circ}C$로 일정하게 유지하고 반응시간 2시간, 3기압으로 공기 가압한 결과는 다음과 같다. Mohr's salt의 농도가 진하고, 중성으로 갈수록 함수산화철의 수득율이 증가되며, Mohr's salt 농도가 Fe(II) 이온농도, 42.81g/l 일때, 91.5% 이상의 수득율을 얻었다. 이렇게하여 생성된 함수산화철의 결정형은 $\alpha$-goethite형이며, 색상도 천연 ${\alpha}$-goethite와 유사하였다. 이것을 $500^{\circ}C$로 하소(calcination)하니 미려한 적갈색을 띤 ${\alpha}-Fe_2O_3$가 생성되었다.

  • Coupling of naphthacylpyridinium bromide 2 [1-(2-naphthyl) ethanone-2-pyridinium bromide] with N-nitrosoacetarylamides afforded C-(2-naphthoyl)-N-arylmethanohydrazonoylpyridinium bromides 3A-C. Treatment of 3A-C with base afforded the corresponding tetrazines 6A-C. Cycloaddition of nitrilimines 5A-C to N-arylmaleimides, acrylonitrile, ethyl acrylate, acrylamide, fumaronitrile, $\alpha$-cyanocinnamonitriles, ethyl $\alpha$-cyano-p-nitrocinnamates and $\alpha$-cyano-p-nitrocinnamamide afforded the corresponding cycloadducts 7-14, respectively. The cycloadducts 11-14 undergo a facile thermal elimination of hydrogen cyanide to give the corresponding pyrazoles 18-21 respectively.

A New Flow Equation for Thixotropic Systems

  • Thixotropy is a time-dependent shear-thinning phenomenon. We derived a new thixotropic formula which is based on the generalized viscosity formula of Ree and Eyring, $f={\Sigma}\frac{X_i}{{\alpha}_i}sinh^{-1}$ () (Refer to the text concerning the notation.) The following is postulated: (1) thixotropy occurs when small flow units attached to a large flow unit separate from the latter under stress (2) elastic energy(${\omega}$) is stored on the large flow unit during the flow process, and (3) the stored energy contributes to decrease the activation energy for flow. A new thixotropic formula was derived by using these postulations, $f={\frac}{X_0{\beta}_0}{\alpha_0}{\dot{s}}+{\frac}{X_1{\beta}_1}{{\alpha}_1}{\dot{s}}+{\frac}{X_2}{{\alpha_x}}sinh^{-1}$[$({\beta}_0)_2$ exp $(-C_2{\dot{s}}^2/RT){\cdot}{\dot{s}}$] f is the shear stress, and s is the rate of shear. In case of concentrated solutions where the Newtonian flow units have little contribution to the viscosity of the system, the above equation becomes, $f=\frac{X_2}{\alpha_2}sinh^{-1}$[$({\beta}_0)_2$ exp $(-C_2{\dot{s}}^2/RT){\cdot}{\dot{s}}$]. In order to confirm these formulas, we applied to TiO2(anatase and rutile)-water, printing ink and mayonnaise systems. Good agreements between the experiment and theory were observed.

북방산 개구리 난소의 Cytochrome $P450_{C17}$ 유전자 특성 (Characterization of Ovarian Cytochrome $P450_{C17}$ (17 ${\alpha}-hydroxylase$/17,20-lyase) in Rana dybowski)

  • 스테로이드 합성효소 중 $17\;{\alpha}-hydroxylase/17,20-lyase(P450_{C17})$는 progesterone을 $17\;{\alpha}-hydroxyprogesterone$을 거쳐 androstenedione으로 변환을 담당하는 효소이다. 양서류 난소에서 스테로이드 합성의 분자적 조절과정의 연구에 사용할 목적으로 북방산 개구리(Rana dybowskii) 난소에서 $P450_{C17}$ cDNA를 클로닝 하였다. 북방산 개구리 난포세포의 cDNA library 검색을 통해 분리된 약 2.5kb의 cDNA는 529개의 아미노산을 가진 단일 번역틀을 가지고 있었다. 개구리 $P450_{C17}$의 아미노산 서열은 Xenopus와는 76%, 닭과는 63%, 그리고 사람과는 약 45%의 동일성을 보여 주였고, 동시에 진화적으로 척추동물에서 매우 잘 보존된 아미노산 서열을 가지고 있었다. 노던 분석에서 개구리의 $P450_{C17}$ 전사체는 난소에서만 2.5kb와 3.6kb 크기의 두 종류가 발견되었다. 그리고 개구리 Rana $P450_{C17}$ cDNA는 비스테로이드 합성 세포인 COS-1세포에서 분명한 $17\;{\alpha}-hydroxylase/17,20-lyase$ 활성을 주었다. 따라서 클로닝된 개구리 $P450_{C17}$ 유전자는 양서류의 난소에서 스테로이드 합성의 분자적 기작을 연구하는데 매우 유용할 것으로 사료된다.
