소음저감 장치에 의한 KTX 차량의 운행소음 저감량 분석 (An Analysis of the Pass-by Noise Reduction for KTX by Noise Reduction Device)

  • Reduction of the propagation noise generated during pass-by of KTX by noise barrier was measured and analysed for the two kinds of top-shaped noise reduction devices; one as a plywood board and the other as a PVC pipe were placed periodically. The height and length of reference noise barrier are 2.4 m and 50 m, respectively. The noise reduction with and without noise reduction devices was investigated.

  • This paper describes the evaluation of noise influence of residental and boundary areas from power plant noise sources of 1200MW combined cycle power plant. Noise assessments are carried out by based on the ISO 3744, ISO 9613-1 and ISO 9613-2 to predict the noise distribution to satisfy the recommended noise level at specific locations and to calculate properly the octave noise power of main noise sources such as power transformers. air-intakes, stacks.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose indoor noise level in residential buildings affected by transportation noise (road traffic, railway and air-craft noise) based on subjective evaluations. 30 subjects participated in the experiment to evaluate the noise.   • The number of jet aircraft is increasing. The aircraft noise making people near airports nervous have become a serious social problem. The aircraft noise can be classified into two groups; noise being generated at take-off or landing and noise form run-up test on the ground. In this paper, we consider the aircraft noise from run-up test on the pound and we suggest the noise suppression system.

The new policy will be enforced beginning in 2006 with 5 year schedule. Details on the policy will be demonstrated at the presentation.

  • Passengers are much interested in ineroir noise caused speed-up and mass reduction of railway vehicles. Generally, the major noise source for passenger cars are rolling noise and aerodynamic noise. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the noise level and to analyze the noise sources for domestic and KTX trains. We also measured the interior noise and the rolling noise for passenger cars. In result, the noise level is below 65dBA for Seamaeul coachs, and below 66dBA for KTX coachs.

  • The regulation of the aircraft noise has been more strengthened with expansion of the environmental issue. This trend has encouraged the R&D of the noise reduction technology. In this paper, the international efforts for aircraft noise reduction and the related technology were investigated. The aircraft noise sources were also introduced briefly. Additionally, the noise prediction method was explained at the end of paper.

  • Recently, Cooling tower are used the necessary element in a residential area and living space on the viewpoint of indoor temperature control. The purpose of this study is to assistance the comfortable environment and economical measures of noise transmission mechanism on tile cooling tower. The results show that noise evaluation interact the main factor of distance reduction and diffraction reduction. Noise criterion apply to the NC level and equivalent transmission loss about already the design of noise reduction.

  • The object of this study is to reduce the subway noise by the low noise wheel. The vibro-acoustic reduction was predicted from the FRF difference between low noise wheel and solid wheel by experimental modal analysis. The low noise wheel and solid wheel were compared in viewpoint of car interior/exterior noise. The effect of low noise wheel on the noise of subway train of 6 vehicles was obtained. But, the application of low noise wheel must be reviewed in some aspect.
