  • As the level of economic development increases, interest in human capital is also increasing. This paper estimates and compares innovative human capital by region for 31 regions in China between 2002 and 2019. The innovative human capital in this paper consists of education-type human capital, thesis-type human capital, and patent-type human capital. In particular, unlike previous studies, this study assumes that the weight of patent-type human capital and paper-type human capital is higher than that of education-type human capital. This is because patents and thesis will have a relatively greater impact on a region's innovation capacity than simple education background. The analysis results of this paper can be summarized in three points. First, China's regional innovative human capital shows regional disparities. Second, innovative human capital by region is changing dynamically. Third, regional concentration is accelerating, especially in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Jiangsu. Therefore, the results of this paper emphasize the importance of the role of innovative human capital in regional economic development.

  • The purpose of this research is to develop the Human-centered CAD system in which human factors can be considered during the design stage. For this system there are several issues to research, like the digital human modeling technology, the definition of interactions between human and product, the simulation of human motion when using the product, and the bio-mechanical analysis of human, etc. This paper introduces how to construct the kinematical structure of the digital human model. For our digital human model H-ANIM, the international specification of humanoid animation is referenced. And we added the skeleton geometry and the skin surfaces to our model. And it can manipulate its joints by forward kinematics. Also the IKAN inverse kinematics algorithm is adopted to support the posture prediction of the digital human model in the product environment. All of these ideas are implemented using CAD API so that we can apply these functions to the current commercial CAD systems. In this manner, the human factor issues can be effectively taken into account at the early design phase and the costs of bio-mechanical evaluation will be significantly reduced.

  • This study seeks to determine if the efficiency of bank human resources, as played by human capital, impacts the performance and diversification of banks. This study uses secondary data from data obtained from 385 commercial banks in 33 countries in Asia during the 2010-2020 period with the diversification analysis method. We use the Z-score to measure the amount of standard deviation that must be from earnings (ROAA). We examined it using the Tobit regression technique. According to the regression estimation results, human capital has a significant role in the performance and effective diversification of Asian banks. The human capital efficiency coefficient (HCE) is significantly negative with the cost-to-income ratio (CTIR) and significantly positive with Profitability, Financial Stability, and cost efficiency score. The level of efficiency of human resources has an effective role in increasing human capital which has an impact on bank diversification and performance. The development of human resources in a human capital framework plays an important role in the diversification and improvement of bank performance. Human capital has a significant role in the performance and effective diversification of Asian banks. The level of efficiency of human resources has an effective role in increasing human capital which has an impact on bank diversification and performance.

  • Human resource for the new and renewable energy technology is an important factor in the respect of the sustainable growth and energy security. In this paper, we focused on measuring the economic effect of human resource development on new and renewable energy development programs. The human capital accumulation model developed by Mincer (1974) was modified in terms of the rate of the researchers' investment in human capital. As a result of a empirical case study, the value of human capital was estimated by 102 million Korean won per year worth 18% of the project labor cost. In case of the assumption of 100% participation of researchers, the level of human capital accumulation increased to 914 million Korean won per year. These results imply that the new and renewable energy development programs has been successful, on the concept of learning by doing, in terms of providing the researchers with opportunities to accumulate human capital.

  • This paper proposes modeling of human behavior and a method of finding irregular human behavior. At first, human behavior model is proposed by paying attention to habitual human behavior at home. Generally, it is difficult to obtain the information of individual life pattern because of high cost for setting sensors such as cameras to observe human action. Therefore we capture turning on/off consumer electronic equipments as actual human behavior action, where some or many consumer electric equipments were used such as television, room light, video and so on in our daily life. Noting that are some relations between turning on/off those consumer electric equipments and our action, we proposes how to construct a human behavior knowledge by analyzing human behavior based on observation of human habitual life. Also an algorithm to identify on find irregular behavior different from habitual life behavior are described. Finally, the significance of the proposed method is shown by some experimental results.

  • In this paper, We performed the human body dynamic modelling for the realistic animation based on the dynamical behavior of human body, and designed controller for the effective control of complicate human dynamic model. The human body was simplified as a rigid body which consists of 18 actuated degrees of freedom for the real time computation. Complex human kinematic mechanism was regarded as a composition of 6 serial kinematic chains : left arm, right arm, support leg, free leg, body, and head. Based on the this kinematic analysis, dynamic model of human body was determined using Newton-Euler formulation recursively. The balance controller was designed in order to control the nonlinear dynamics model of human body. The effectiveness of designed controller was examined by the graphical simulation of human walking motion. The simulation results were compared with the model base control results. And it was demonstrated that, the balance controller showed better performance in mimicking the dynamic motion of human walking.

  • This paper treats the estimation of human impedance and their application to human-robot collaboration work. Initially, we perform an experiment at which the human becomes a slave and the robot behaves like a master having F/T sensor on its end. The human impedance expressed in terms of mass, damping, and stiffness properties are estimated based on the force data measured by F/T sensor and the commanded position data of the robot. To show the effectiveness of the estimated human impedance, we perform the second experiment at which the roles of the human and the robot are reversed. It is shown that the robot using the estimated human impedance follows the trajectory commanded by human very smoothly.

  • In previous research results, human error can be detected by using observation theory which assumed with step human failures, thus the detector has a limit to detect the human failures. In this paper, we propose a human error detect filter for given human failures. Various kind of human failures can be modeled, and from these models, an argumented human failure model can constructed. By using the argumented human failure model, the human error detect filter can be designed.
