This paper analyzes Blood: the Last Vampire (2009) in comparison with the original Blood: the Last Vampire (2000). This digital movie, released in 2009, faithfully re-presents the visual of the original animation using more budget and more developed technology. Though these two movies share very similar visual style, they have slightly different modes of expression that can be easily detected in their opening scenes. The original Blood chooses to tell its story in more indirect way. Some shots are intentionally vague and forcefully separated by black credit screen, leaving audience guessing exactly what happened. The remake version of Blood provides faster, more diverse, and more sophisticated images. It also uses invisible and slick editing, leaving no room to guess. These differences comes mainly from the difference of media. However, since the differences between two movies lie mainly in their narratives, we can ascribe the box office slump of the digital movie version of Blood: the Last Vampire to its narrative flaws. The heroin's inner conflicts were not convincing enough, supporting roles were not probable enough, and the whole story was not unique enough. As a result, the new Blood: the Last Vampire became another bad example that shows the importance of narrative in films.

Detection of bloodstains is a very important process in scientific investigations, and luminol is often used for the detection of bloodstains that are not visible. Recently, new preparation methods of blood detection reagents based on luminol (BloodFlareA, B) were developed and reported to have higher active persistence and to be more economical than conventional blood detection reagent, BlueStar forensic. In this paper, we tested the specificity and effect of the BloodFlares (A and B) on DNA and compared them with those of BlueStar forensic. False positive results for the BloodFlares were not observed in semen, saliva, vaginal fluids, urine, sweat, and nasal discharge, but were observed in $CuSO_4$, $FeSO_4$, and bleach solutions, and the observed patterns were similar to those of BlueStar forensic. The effect on DNA was determined by analyzing the DNA yield, degradation index, and DNA profiling. Based on these results, we concluded that the BloodFlares based on luminol do not affect DNA stability and are applicable in forensics.

Through this thesis, I analyzed Coen brothers's directing style centering around Crime movies: Blood simple, Barton Fink, Fargo, The man who wasn't thers, No country for old man. About directing style of Coen brothers, plot is an epic depiction, habitual use of narration, refusal of happy ending. They concern subject matters about human original nature and tragedy by greed. And as motifs, they often use misunderstanding, crossing over, chase. Also they likes characters of ordinary people who is destroyed by greed. How about their technical style? They usually use steady-cam and wide lens in camera, and in his early crime movies he used expressionistic lights, but after that they usually used realistic natural lights. About sound, they likes more sound effects than music. Also they directed realistic acting and emphasized actor's personality. Coen brothers has been directed many crime movies and comedy films. But their unique directing style was particularly outstanding in the crime movies

A CCTV system reduces some number of cameras if we use convex-mirror. In this case, convex-mirror Image distorted, we need transformation to flat images. In the center of mirror images, a transformed image has no distortion, but at near boundary image has plentiful distortion. This distortion is caused by occlusion of angled ray and diffraction. We know that the linear filtering approach cannot separate noise from signal where their Fourier spectra overlap. But using a non-linear discretization method, we shall reduce blurred noise. In this paper, we introduce the backward solution of nonlinear wave equation for reducing blurred noise and biased expansion of equilibrium contour. We propose, after applying the introduced method, and calculate with discretization method. To analysis the experimental result, we investigate to PSNR and get about 4dB better than current method.
