  • In modern society, the development of Information and Communication Technology has given people a lot of opportunities. But on the other side cyber attack also gives enormous damage to people. Recently Korea has become the target of cyber attack. The threat of it is growing. Especially North Korea has committed hostile actions against South Korea. North Korea has recently attacked the computer networks of South Korea's important national facilities. The types of North Korea's cyber attacks include the followings. First, if we see it with the viewpoint of software, it tries to destroy or control the Internet, infects the networks with viruses, worms, Trojan Horse and Distributed Denial of Service. I suggest the following to solve the problem. First, South Korea should unify the organizations to respond to the attacks of North Korea, as North Korea has a unified organization for the cyber attack. Second, they should think about the establishment of "Cyber Terrorism Prevention Act" to systematically respond to the software attacks.

  • It is widely known that the public library in Korea has not been developed as a social agency which makes communication process possible. The public library in Korea just plays a role of the public study room for students using their own books. There is almost no public libraries in the sense of an open collection of comprehensive materials designed for use by anyone who seeks information. This study starts from this situation. It aims at identifying the present stage of the development of public libraries in Korea through investigating librarians' consciousness in their everyday lives. For this, a case study method is used for investingating, collecting and organizing the 'discourse' of librarians in Pusan and Kyongsangnamdo area. Major suggestions include : First of all, it is most important for public library reformation to eradicate the 'conservatism' in the consciousness of librarians in their everyday lives. So, it is essential to collect their life stories in various library conditions, and make them public discourse of librarians. Secondly, the professional organization should play a role to unify the librarians. For this role, it should maintain a R&D department and strengthen PR programs. Thirdly, Researchers who study Library and Information Science in Korea should be always concerned with the real-life context in the field. The most important type of research in our third world situation is the one that is based on the present stage of the development of our own libraries and the real library situation in the field.

  • Objectives : Since the Korean pronunciation of the Mantidis Oothea is not unified, it is necessary to unify pronunciation of this particular herb. According to ancient herbal literature, genuine Mantidis Oothea has been regarded as the product which is attached to mulberry tree. However, all forms of Mantidis Oothea need to be used as a medicinal ingredient. Methods : The current study explores pronunciations of the herbal medicinal names, Collection, and the herbal processes of the Mantidis Oothea. There are approximately about 30 herbal manuals dealing with the Mantidis Oothea after Shen Nong's herbal manual(神農本草經) was published. Results & Conclusions : 1. Sangbicho, Sangpyeojo, Sangpyeocho, and other names have been used as a name of medicinal ingredient for the Mantidis Oothea. 2. The Other names of medicinal ingredient for the Mantidis Oothea were Sik woo, Danglangja(螳螂子), Danglanglan(螳螂卵), Danglangso(螳螂巢), Danglangwa(螳螂窩), Danglanggag(螳螂殼), etc.. 3. The name of medicinal ingredient for the Mantidis Oothea should not be pronounced as Sangpyoso but Sangpyocho. 4. The name of medicinal ingredient for the Mantidis Oothea was originated from a type of the egg case, eating habit, therapy of the Mantidis Oothea and so on. 5. Collecting real thing of The Mantidis Oothea does not really matter whether it is attached to the mulberry tree or not. 6. The herbal processes of the Mantidis Oothea is to kill the eggs, so typical methods were to steam, roast, boil with vinegar and so on. In addition, the main effect seemed to be protection from the diarrhea.

  • The appearance of Intelligent mobile and home appliance increased the using of not only various multimedia contents but also educational contents. Especially the growth of smart device such as smart phone, smart pad and smart TV, provided the environment which everyone can use educational content anytime, anywhere, any device. However many smart devices are hard to reuse the various educational contents because the devices and mobile os policies are not unify. In this paper, we suggest the design of NeS(N-Screen e-learning system) in order to solve this problem. NeS is consisted of User Management, Educational Content Management, Content Convert System and Interactive Management System. In this system, we use the HTML5 language to assure interoperability in various Smart Device Environment. Through NeS, we can achieve Content OSMU(One Source Multi Use) in various device environment and assure the continuity of the contents for using the educational contents more easily.

  • Despite the SKM Duyree shop's potentials, such as residing over the Samsung-dong, gangnam-gu one of the premier locations in Seoul, and offering a large shopping store, the old 'SKM Dutyfree' symbol [image #2] has become the burden for a company due to its low-profile brand quality and lack of location advertisements. Therefore, first, we have agreed to acquire the popular brand word 'COEX' and replace "SKM Dutyfree" to "COEX Dutyfree", and second, the new visual image has been created in order to create a synergy of the urban-look and the location-information. Therefore, the visual identity design concepts have been utilized in order to achieve such goals; first, promote the existing COEX-image and metropolitan-esque image. Second, unify the international-metropolitan looks of the COEX-mall, hotel, shopping center, exhibition, and airport terminal with location information. Third, deliver the new identity-design [image #1] of the fresh look(compare to competing dutyfree shops) and dynamic images.

  • Dolittle is a educational programming language that helps students learning principles and concepts of computer science with programming. Learning programming with robot improve learning achievements robot motivate to be interest with programming. However, Dolittle robot programming is a different from Dolittle programming in process of interpretation and execution mechanism. Therefore, students have virtually to learn two languages to control robot and it would reduce the worth of Dolittle as educational programming language. In order to solve this problem, we tried to Unify Dolittle and robot control language using parser that Dolittle program with turtle object convert robot program. But this try couldn't overcome completely this problem because attributes of turtle object is different from robot. In this research we unified Dolittle programming and Dolittle robot programming as a way of adding new robot object in dolittle standard object group. it would improve educational effect of learning programming with robot in Dolittle.

  • The optimization design method for the broadband operation of the sleeve monopole was proposed to unify the multiple antennas essential to the multi-functional broadband wireless communication systems into one antenna. The structure of the sleeve part was optimized to enhance the impedance matching characteristics based on the theoretical analysis that sleeve part can works as the open stub. The thick monopole was used for the broadband operation. The radius of the sleeve and the permittivity of the dielectric inside the sleeve was optimized to enhance the impedance matching characteristics for the broadband operation. The optimized sleeve monopole having thick monopole shows broadband characteristics over 3:1 bandwidth, from 0.8 to 2.43 GHz, which is suitable for the commercial wireless communication system. The proposed broadband sleeve monopole can reduce multiple antennas essential to the multi-functional broadband systems to one antenna.

  • Information boards installed in Seoul subway stations are currently in four languages: Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese. Informational announcements are provided to inform the main information or operation information through the LCD monitor installed in the train and in Korean. However, users are confused because the subway guide board screen displays advertisements more heavily than driving information As a research method, we grasped the current status and problems of the subway guide board installed on the Seoul subway, and presented an improved new subway guide board drafts. An online survey was conducted on 67 people, ranging from teens to 60s who mainly use the Seoul Metro. As a result of the study, the screen design is different for each boarding route, so it is necessary to unify the subway guide board that provides only necessary information. In particular, since the user transfers the subway several times in order to move from place to place, the subway guide board design should function as an emergency disaster guide or boarding information, not an advertising signboard.

  • In some legal systems property passes at the time of the conclusion of the contract. In other legal systems property passes at some later time such as the time at which the goods are delivered to the buyer. It was not regarded possible to unify the rule on this point nor was it regarded necessary to do so since rules are provided by this CISG for several questions linked, at least in certain legal systems, to the passing of property. Even though the CISG rules that it does not govern the passing of property in the goods sold, it does not exclude completely the effect which the contract may have on the property in the goods sold. Problems that under some domestic systems are decided by reference to the "property" concept are governed by specific provisions of the CISG. First of All, the CISG(Arts. 41 and 42) deals with seller's obligation to the buyer that the goods be free of third party claims. Moreover, Article 45 gives a buyer the right to require the seller to deliver goods that the seller wrongfully withholds. Secondly, Article 81(2) gives a seller the right to claim restitution of goods for which the buyer fails to pay. Domestic law must respect these rights as between the seller and buyer; if such rights between the parties prevail over the claims of creditors or other third parties under domestic law, domestic tribunals should give the same effect to rights established by the CISG. Thirdly, the right to sell the goods arises where there has been an unreasonable delay by the party in taking possession of them or in taking them back(Article 88).
