패션기업의 사회적 책임 활동에 관한 연구 (A study on corporate social responsibility activities of fashion companies)

  • This study reviewed corporate social responsibility activities of fashion companies and discussed strategies of social enterprises. The research was conducted on 6 Korean fashion companies with sales over KRW 1 trillion as of the end of the term in 2015. Corporate social responsibility activities of each company were investigated from economic, social and environmental viewpoints. The results of this study were as follows: First, each company promoted win-win growth, co-existence management, transparent management and ethics management through economic activities. They pursued win-win growth and co-existence management, which aimed to respect and grow with their partners. Also, they ensured transparent management and ethics management to show their moral management. Second, each company conducted various social contribution programs as part of their social activities. Through the programs, they made donations, supported welfare and culture, and practiced voluntary work, local activities, training and equal opportunities. Third, as for environmental activities, each company tried to protect nature through various activities such as donation to environmental organizations, environmental cleanup activities, environmental management from production to disposal, reuse, eco-friendly system, environmental volunteering, etc. Articles on fashion companies' social responsibility activities have an influence on boosting their attitude and image towards businesses.

  • Companies make a great effort for saving costs because a rise in logistics costs weaken trade companies competitive position in the international market. Therefore it is important for companies and government to enhance logistics competitive. This article focus on the logistics laws and policies to improvement companies competitiveness and save logistics costs. It has researched from the point of view rather government basis than company basis. Korean Logistics policies have some fundamental problems that the law and policies are spreaded to several administrations such as, Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs etc. We propose the solutions as follows; First of all, we review the laws and policies on logistics and point out the problems. Second, setting up the principle of Korean Logistics Policies according to the changes in international logistics paradigm and circumstances. Third, adjustment of systems and tasks of administrations related to logistics. Fourth, innovation plan for logistics policies. The plan can carry out two ways demonstration business and diffusion business in order.

유니콘 기업의 성공에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 탐색적 연구: 중국 IT 기업을 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study of a Chinese IT Unicorn Company)

  • Purpose - As the research of Chinese unicorn companies is still in early stages, this paper aims to investigate the factors that influence the success of Chinese IT unicorns. Design/methodology/approach - This study is conducted as a single case study and used various sources such as interviews, internal data, press releases, IR data, etc. to enhance the reliability and validity. Findings - First, the characteristics of the start-up team, social capital, and strategies as internal factors affect the success of unicorns. Among them, the more Guanxi in social capital factors, the greater the possibility of growing into an IT unicorn company. Second, the role of venture capital and geographical location have been identified that two factors affect the success of unicorns. In the role of venture capital, it has been confirmed that the world's top-level venture capital company or a company that has been invested by "BATJ" is more likely to grow into a unicorn company in China. Research implications or Originality - This paper distinguishes between internal and external factors to explain the factors that affect the growth of unicorn companies, which lays the foundation for future research, such as the exploration of the unicorns and the development of new variables.

Factors Affecting the Efficiency of Corporate Income Tax Management in Vietnam: Evidence from Mekong Delta Provinces

  • The purpose of this study is to propose policy implications for improving the efficiency of corporate income tax management in Vietnam, by analyzing the study factors affecting the efficiency of corporate income tax management (evidence from Mekong Delta provinces, Vietnam). This study used a primary data collection method and collected data of 329 enterprises, including 49 joint-stock companies and 280 limited liability companies in 3 provinces - Tra Vinh province, Soc Trang province, and Ben Tre province. By using the binary regression method, the author discovered eight factors affecting the efficiency of corporate income tax management in the Mekong Delta region such as the time of operation of the enterprises, type of business, gender, business results, tax amount temporarily paid, compliance with tax policies, business scale, and tax debt ratio. From the above research results, the author proposes policies to support Tax Departments to improve the efficiency of corporate income tax management in the Mekong Delta region in the future. These policies include - for further promoting the tax policy propaganda to enterprises, tax authorities need to promptly handle tax arrears, enhance the inspection of tax debt enterprises, and focus on the business models, gender, age of the business owners, etc.

창업보육센터의 중장기 발전 전략: 창업기업 인터뷰와 선진국 창업보육센터 벤치마킹을 토대로 (Mid- to Long-term Development Strategies of Business Incubation Centers - Based on Interviews with Start-up Companies and Benchmarking of Business Incubation Centers in Developed Countries)

  • The purpose of this study was to make a mid- and long-term development plan on the business incubator center after interviewing five startups that currently being occupied in or already left the center and reviewing benchmark on business incubator centers in developed countries such as USA, Sweden, and Israel. For the interview, the three startups currently being occupied in the center and the two companies already left the center were participated. The main strengths of the center from all of these five companies were easy accessibility to the equipment and space and at the same time trustworthy from the outside vendors and/or government, etc. USA is a leading country who has long history for the startups but mostly the private companies/organizations/individuals have supported the startups in terms of funding or consulting. Also, there are countless local governments nationwide who provide funding, education, and/or space for the small businesses. Mainly based on the interview and the benchmarking, the mid- and long-term development plan for the business incubator center was made. All six themes such as consortium for investment or a local network plan were derived for the development plan which was described in this study.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 최근 노사 간 이슈가 되고 있는 비정규직 이슈에 주목하여 비정규직 노사분규의 사례 중 대표적인 하이닉스 사내하청 노사분규사례의 발생원인 및 해결과정 등 전 과정을 살펴봄으로써 향후 유사한 노사분규에 대한 시사점을 주고자 함에 있다. 사례분석결과 하청노조는 교섭상대방인 하청회사가 존재 할 때까지는 하청회사들과 교섭하지만, 이후 하청회사는 폐업을 하게 되고 이에 따라 하청노조원들은 직장을 잃게 되고 교섭상대방은 원청회사로 바꾸어 직접교섭과 고용을 주장한다. 원청회사의 교섭거부와 하청노조의 불법을 포함한 전 방위적 공세 속에서 지역사회 등의 노력으로 중재가 시도되고 이후 사적 조정 그리고 최종 직접교섭으로 동 분규는 해결된다. 해결에 있어서는 고용을 배제되고 위로금 등으로 해결되어 불법과 무원칙이 난무하는 한국의 노사관계에서 나름대로 법과 원칙에 입각한 해결이라는 의미 있는 결과를 나타냈다. 마지막으로, 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 시사점을 제시하였다.

The Distribution Condition and Clothing Construction Factors of the Working Clothes - Reference to the Changwon National Industrial Complex -

  • To investigate the actual distribution condition and clothing construction factors of the working clothes supplied to the Changwon national industrial complex, 5 major companies in machinery, automotive, industrial engineering, shipbuilding and rolling stock in the industrial complex located in Gyeongsangnam-Do were selected. The questionnaire designed for the research consisted of working clothes distribution policies in manufacturing industry and the actual conditions of the design facts, repair and maintenance of the working clothes, etc. The analysis of the clothing construction factors of the working clothes provided by 5 respondent companies were conducted in parallel. The results derived from the study were as follows: The basic types of working clothes were the blouson jacket and straight pants; safety equipments for manufacture were safety helmets, gloves, snickers, goggles, masks, ear caps, wristlets, leggings, apron, etc. The size-charts adopted by the participant companies were the small-medium-large and cm/inch measurement size systems. To solve wearer's dissatisfaction with the garment fit, certain clothing construction factors were used, e.g. strap bands and the elastic band on a waist band. The types of fabrics used for the working clothes were mainly polyester/cotton and polyester/rayon blended ones. Moreover, to provide with more air permeability to wearers, the warp knit material was used to construct the lining and the armpit or back bodice slits. Lock, two-thread chain, safety, overedge stitches were applied with flat, lap felled, French, superimposed, lapped, bound and edge finishing seams to construct the working clothes selected.

해외전시회에서 참관객 만족요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Satisfaction Factors of the Attendees to the Overseas Exhibitions)

  • This is the research on the correlation between the marketing activities conducted by the companies participating in the overseas exhibitions in the exhibition and the satisfaction of the visitors. I have been able to obtain the following findings through the positive research on the satisfaction of the visitors to the overseas exhibitions. The research findings show that the external elements of the participating companies such as 'external appearances of booths, interior facilities and the atmosphere', 'designs of exhibits', 'size of the participating companies', and the publicity elements of the participating companies such as 'the degree of application of mass media', 'prior publicity of the participating companies', etc. among the marketing activities conducted by the participating companies in the exhibition affect the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors. The findings also show that the elements to induce the interest of the visitors such as the booth design and display of products where the participating companies may produce their unique image and the prior publicity to the visitors constitute the important elements of marketing. It has also been revealed that the visitors whose purpose of the visits are to purchase the products and to satisfy their interest in 'the events and contents of the events affect the interest and the repeat business deals of the visitors, among the interest and repeat business deals pursuant to the characteristics of the visitors. It has also been found that the visitors who have recognized the representative brands in the exhibitions affect the interest and the repeat business deals and the visitors who have visited the exhibition several times are more satisfied than the visitors who have visited the exhibition for the first time. The comparative evaluation of the degree of importance of the marketing activities of the participating companies before the visitors' visit to the exhibitions and the degree of satisfaction after their visit reveals degrees of satisfaction in the order of 'the booth staff's professional knowledge of the exhibits', 'foreign language proficiency and their techniques of negotiation and demonstration', 'designs of the exhibits (colors and packaging), 'prior publicity of the participating companies. Such being the case, the companies participating in any of the overseas should maximize the result of their participation in the exhibition by training their staff in the products and foreign languages and through the prior publicity. It has also been found out that "the atmosphere of the booth in the exhibition such as 'launching of new products', 'external appearances of the booth, layout of the interior facilities and the atmosphere and events of the participating companies affect the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors, among the factors for the satisfaction of the visitors. Therefore, it has been proven that the external factors such as the external appearances of the booth, display of the products, launching of new products and events producing the atmosphere of the booth of the participating companies among the marketing activities conducted by the participating companies, and the extent of the training of the booth staff and prior publicity are the major factors affecting the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors.

  • 국내 방위산업은 국방을 위한 국가의 중요한 산업으로 정부의 적극적인 지원을 바탕으로 방산물자 수출 확대 등 양적으로 많은 성장을 이루었다. 하지만 전문화 계열화 제도 폐지에 따른 민수시장의 경쟁 원리 도입, 치열한 글로벌 경쟁 환경에 따른 정부의 국내 방산시장 경쟁 촉진 정책 등에 따라 국내 방위산업의 글로벌 경쟁력에 많은 관심을 기울이게 되었다. 즉, 양적인 성장과 더불어 국내 방위산업의 질적 우수성 및 글로벌 경쟁력에 대한 분석의 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 연구에서는 대륙별 방위산업에 대한 효율성 및 생산성 현황 및 추세를 분석하여 국내 방위산업의 글로벌 경쟁력 수준 평가 및 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 자료포락분석(DEA) 및 맘퀴스트 생산성 분석을 이용하였다. 본 연구를 통해 국내 방위산업체들의 글로벌 경쟁력 수준 및 위상을 살펴보고, 국내 방위산업 경쟁력 향상을 위한 기초자료로 활용되어, 향후 국내 방위산업체 육성 관련 정책 수립에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the present conditions and problems of the Electronic Commerce, specially by the fashion companies that utilize the Internet and to propose using plans of Internet Electronic Commerce as a strategic method of fashion companies that have a information-oriented mind to adapt itself to modern century. On the basis of my analysis, I propose some using plans of Internet Electronic Commerce by the fashion companies as follows. As a means of construction method, it is need for the pertinent companies to have an information-oriented mind and then to construct the low-expense but high-speed communication Infrastructure. As an operation and management method, positive web site advertisements plans, such as promotion, using various mass media, subscribing to the Internet search engines and dissemination of products information, etc., are need for companies to attract the consumers to connect to the web site. Second, to offer more satisfactory experiences, it is need for companies to frame the integrated shopping mall as a strategic alliance in the management of shopping mall. To frame the integrated shopping mall is also effective in solving financial problems of shopping mall management and introducing of security system As a means of technology supplement, security management systems, such as SSL or SET, should be introduced for consumers to pay the price and furnish their personal informations. Second, new technology developments, such as the newest simulation programs using Virtual Reality to solve the problem of products' actual feeling, should be need for consumers to feel as they really put clothes on. If these technological developments are realized, fashionable products will be dealt in the Internet shopping mall as well and the marketability of Internet shopping mall will be expanded.
