An issue of human rights abuse in business emerged as a serious social problem recently not only in Korea, but also worldwide. However, the stipulations in 'UNGPs' and 'OECD Guidelines' do not provide a legally binding dispute settlement mechanism. Under these circumstances, it is very well timed that the Working Group on International Arbitration of Business and Human Rights recently published the Draft Hague Rules on Business and Human Rights Arbitration, which will be launched in December 2019 as an effective and efficient alternative to mediation or court litigation. This paper examines the purpose, the structure, and the unique features of the Draft Hague Rules, among other provisions, including 1) Inequality of Arms between the Parties, 2) Appointing Authority, 3) Presiding Arbitrator's Qualification, 4) Evidentiary Procedures, 5) Remedy, and 6) Governing Law.

Objectives: The coronavirus disease 2019 has deteriorated mental health, particularly in mothers with elementary school children. Although the country has developed several health promotion programs to preserve mental health, no program has incorporated Korean medicine. Thus, this study focuses on developing vital Korean medicine mental health care programs. Methods: The program follows the Korean medicine health promotion program principles. Guidelines, reports, research, and previous programs were analyzed to form interventions and lecture content. Results: Pellets, hot packs, meditation, lavender oil, and green tea were selected as final intervention strategies. Mental health-related guidelines were analyzed to produce stress management lecture materials. In addition, an operational methods and evaluation tool manual was created. Conclusion: We designed a health promotion program capitalizing on Korean medicine to improve mental health. This program will be assessed and accordingly improved through practical applications.

The purpose of this study was to establish and provide guidelines for the standardized acquisition and interpretation of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DW-MRI) to improve the image quality and reduce the variability of the results interpretation. The standardized protocol includes the use of high-resolution DW-MRI with advanced techniques and post-processing. The aim of the protocol is to increase the effectiveness of the medical image information exchange involved in the construction, activation, and exchange of clinical information for healthcare use. An organized interpretation form could make DW-MRIs' interpretation easier and more familiar. Herein, the authors briefly review the basic principles, optimized image acquisition, standardized interpretation guidelines, false negative and false positive cases of DW-MRI, and provide a standard interpretation form and examples of various cases to help users become more familiar with the DW-MRI.

Purpose: There are already hundreds of millions of users of the Metaverse platform, and within a few years, it is expected to develop into a stage for new economic activities with huge industrial ripple effects due to the size of users. The purpose of this study is to derive considerations for the development of metaverse ethical guidelines. Research design, data, and methodology: The concept of the metaverse was examined through various opinions of industry and experts on the metaverse, and literature related to metaverse ethics was analyzed in the Korean journal database. Results: Six issues were identified through the existing research. (1) Establishing a unified definition of metaverse (2) Necessity of establishing ethical principles considering the operator (3) Personal information protection and privacy (4) Expression in a virtual environment (5) Copyright and intellectual property rights of creations (6) Virtual economy and fairness of trade. Conclusions: Metaverse ethics will be developed and implemented in a form and method different from the real world, but basically, continuous discussions on ethical rationality are needed in the process. In addition, since the ethical judgment in the metaverse environment accompanies cultural differences and epochal changes, it is necessary to focus on metaverse ethics cases.

With the recent announcement of the WCAG2.2 Work Draft of the W3C, revision of the WCAG2.2 guidelines will be made soon. Consequently, the revision of KWCAG2.1 in response to changes in the domestic and international environment of web accessibility is urgent. The revision primarily involves development and selection of web accessibility evaluation items. In this study, the efficient procedures and useful methodologies for developing and selecting the evaluation items are to be presented. FGI (Focus Group Interview) has been devised to reflect every stakeholders opinion fairly. GT (Group Technology) has been applied to expedite the revision processes particularly in the FGI. QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method plays an important role in investigating the relationship between evaluation items and its characteristics, and in analyzing the importance and priorities of each item. This study proposes 5 principles, 17 guidelines and 39 evaluation items which can be used for the revision of KWCAG 2.1. This study is expected to be of great help in establishing the KWCAG 2.2 in the near future.

Sensory analysis of milk and milk products is widely appreciated, and there is a demand for experts with these skills in the dairy industry. To this end, it is important to understand the basic principles of sensory analysis and impart training to facilitate the development of dairy food industry. This paper addresses the ISO 22935/IDF 99 guidelines on the methodology of sensory analysis of milk and milk products, training procedures and monitoring of selected assessors, and criteria for sampling and preparation of dairy samples and their assessment.

Dark and desolate underground parking spaces in commercial facilities are optimal spaces for crime. First, this study reviewed 15 precedent CPTED guidelines and related literatures, and as a result extracted 45 CPTED planning criteria for underground parking facilities. Secondly by field survey, we investigated six parking spaces in commercial facilities whether they were planned properly based on 45 checklist items, in six categories of CPTED principles. In result, target facilities showed average 46.8% relevance ratio, which means less than a half of 45 items of CPTED planning factors were not applied. Guidelines suggest desirable illuminance level of more than 100 lux, however the measurement of illuminance levels in some parking spaces showed below 50 lux. Relatively department stores were keeping CPTED guidelines better than large discount mart and mixed used facilities. Definition of territory of loading dock and customer area should be clarified, clear signage and color scheme in different zones should be represented with higher level of territorial responsibilities and surveillance in mixed used facilities for further improvement.

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) has been widely used to manage hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs) equal to or smaller than 3 cm. No-touch RFA has gained attention and has recently been implemented in local ablation therapy for HCCs, despite its technical complexity, as it provides improved local tumor control compared to conventional tumor-puncturing RFA. This article presents the practice guidelines for performing no-touch RFA for HCCs, which have been endorsed by the Korean Society of Image-Guided Tumor Ablation (KSITA). The guidelines are primarily designed to assist interventional oncologists and address the limitations of conventional tumor-puncturing RFA with describing the fundamental principles, various energy delivery methods, and clinical outcomes of no-touch RFA. The clinical outcomes include technical feasibility, local tumor progression rates, survival outcomes, and potential complications.

Objectives: Sample surveys have been increasingly used by Korean medical doctors for many studies. We present how to conduct higher quality sample surveys in Korea. Methods: According to the 11 principal steps for sample surveys, the concrete issues that academic researchers tend to overlook are illustrated and a variety of methods for improving survey quality are discussed. Results: The survey statistics produced by some researchers could be subject to large errors. This would be mainly due to misunderstandings about the system of principles called survey methodology. The best strategy for avoiding these errors will be to follow the suggested guidelines. Conclusions: For the development of traditional Korean medicine, the role of survey studies is important. Conducting surveys of a better quality based on survey methodology will be beneficial to researchers.

Children's fear and anxiety may interfere with dental treatment. If a child is very young, pharmacologic management may need to be provided during a dental procedure. Although sedation is an everyday practice in pediatric dentistry, it is not easy to achieve successful outcomes with sedation. Moreover, sedation of children can be associated with respiratory risks. Providers of pediatric sedation should be very cautious about adhering to the principles. This article reviews nicely the guidelines and references for pediatric sedation and supports a safe sedation with favorable treatment results.
