Amyloid$\beta(A{\beta})$ has been reported have an effect on the induction of oxidative stress that involves the functional and structural abnormalities in Alzheimer's disease. As a role of a radical scavenger, a green tea treatment was found have some inhibitory effect on the neurodegenerative process. The aim of this study was to determine if green tea catechin (GTC) reduces in transgenic model. To test this, transgenic mice carrying neuronspecific enolase (NSE) controlled C-terminus (105) of APP (APP-C105) were created and treated them with a low ana high dose of GTC for 6 months. Herein, we conclude that transgenic mice expressing NSE/APP-C105 were successfully created and the GTC-treated group exhibited significant reduction in body weight. Thus, GTC might be a good prevention of obesity or good treatment for AD patient.

The purpose of this study was to classify the clothing purchasing behavior of department store credit card users according to fashion lifestyle. The questionnaire was administrated to 346 female department store credit card users aged over 20 living in Daegu, Frequency factor analysis, cluster analysis, one-way Analysis of Variance (ANA), MANOVA, Scheffe test, ${\chi}^2$-test and t-test were used for satistical analysis. The consumers' lifestyle was classified by fashion oriented, practical and self conspicuous. The results showed that the credit card users' clothing purchasing behavior was different according to the fashion lifestyle. The self conspicuous group showed the highest score in impulse buying.

Intralobar pulmonary sequestration is rare congenital lung disease, in which systemic artery supplies a congenitally cystic portion of the lung. Patient was 19 years old male whose complaints were fever, chest pain and sputum. Chest film showed a round homogenous density and air-fluid level at the left lower lung field and on bronchogram, contrast materials did not enter the abscess pocket. By operation multiple lung abscess pockets at the lower lobe were noted. An aberrant artery, measuring 0.4cm. in diameter and 2 cm. in length, arised from the aorta just above the diaphragm and entered the pusterior basal segment of left lower lobe. After division of the artery, left lower lobectomy was done ana postoperative hospital course was uneventful. Pathologic findings were multiple lung cysts which were not connected to the left lower lobe bronchi and an aberrant artery which showed elastic lamillation and mild sclerotic change.

The Purpose of this study was to examine the present situation and evaluation of Parent education programs after divorce in the USA. Divorce Education Programs for Divorcing Parents have been explosively developed and executed after 1990's in America, and the half of them are court-connected mandatory prevention programs. This paper analyses the social background of nationwide provision, the present situation, and evaluates the evaluation and future prospect of the programs. Finally the implications for the Korean society are suggested.

Sperminogen was purified from the acid extracts of boar spermatozoa and partial peptide sequence of the 34-36 kd sperminogen was determined. Acid extracts of boar spermatozoa was gel-filtered through Sephadex G-75, and the 34-36 kd sperminogen was purified by preparative SDS-PAGE. The sperminogen bands were sliced out, and 34-36 kd sperminogen were eluted from the gel fragments and was subjected to peptide sequencing. Since the amino termini were blocked for Edman degradation method, internal amino acid sequences of the eluted 34-36 kd sperminogen were obtained from CNBr-digested peptides of sperminogen. Among several bands resolved on tricine SDS-PAGE, 14, 22 and 26 kd peptides were subjected to peptide sequencing. The ana1yzed amino acid sequences of the 26 and 22 kd peptides showed high homologies with that of the zona pellucida binding protein, Sp38, and the analyzed amino acid sequence of the 14 kd peptide showed neither sequence homology nor similarity with any known proteins.

In view of the results to have measured metallic elements which is included in 45 sorts of herb medicines and surveyed their distribution, 8 kinds ofmetals including Co, Ge, Ga, TL, Cd, As, 8i, Pb, are never or little includedin almost herb medicines . Other twenty-five sorts of elements (Mo, Sc, Be, V,Ni, Sn, Se, Ba, Cr, Sb, Si, Ti, B, Li, Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, p, Al, Na,K) are more or Less included in all herb Bedicines ana Na, Ca, p and K aremetals that are included in Large quentities in comrarison with others . Patri-uiae Radix Contains 7 kinds of metal lic elements more than other herb medicinesdoes .

Paraphilmosis, is a condition in which the extruded penis cannot be withdrawn back into the preputial cavity. In this study, the 2 dogs that showed prolonged erection. exposed penis from the sheath and hair surrounding the prepural orifice for several days, were ana1ysis of blood and urine ard carried out surgical treatment. In urinalysis, there were struvites, spermuria and bactera (streptococci) in urine. Firstly, these dogs were treated with non-surgical method, however severe necrosis of the Penis was developed form prolonged exposure and vascular compromise. Finally, partial penile amputation and preputial lengthening were performed and resulted in successful treatment.

In the fish industry, the perishabiliy of raw material, saeasonality of catch and diatance between production and consumption combine to cause physical distribution to be a difficult decision problem. In fishery physical distribution, the choice of appropriate landing port is a major problem. This paper deals with transshipment model to determine landing port as intermediate transfer point and the market to which fish should be sent. Transshipment model is useful to determine intermediate transfer point and can be reformulated as LP model. So this study developes transshipment model for korea large trawler ana analized the model output. It can be expended to a realistic problem in order to provide information to port planner and decision maker on the trade-offs between the cost and efficiency of fishery transportation.

The characteristics of the probability distribution for mechanical properties, e.g. tensile strength, reduction of area ana elongation, for STS304 stainless steel in elevated temperature were investigated from tensile test performed by constant cross head speea controls with 1mm/min, Recently, in order to clarify the strengthening mechanisms at high temperature, a new scheme to improve high temperature mechanical properties is desired. Therefore, the test ,technique development of high temperature creep behaviors for this material is very important. In this paper, the creep praperties and creep life prediction by Larson-Miller parameter method for STS304 stainless steel to be used for other high temperature components were presented at the elevated temperatures of 600, 650 and $700^{\circ}C$.
