This study applied the User-Centered Design(UCD) to develop effective VR safety training content for specific users. The UCD-based design was tailored to the VR, facilitating efficient design activities. The UCD process comprises key activities: deriving design concepts from user needs, designing with VR features, developing prototypes, conducting comprehensive evaluations with experts and users, and completing the finals. Unlike traditional UCD, this flexible approach allows iterative cycles, enhancing the quality and user satisfaction of VR safety training contents.

우리 나라는 예부터 "삼천리금수강산"이라 불리어 왔다. 이는 우리 국사가 글자 그대로 화려한 국사자원을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 이와같이 우리나라 국사는 그 경관만이 수려한 것이 아니라 땅속에 까지도 신비로운 지하관을 지니고 있다. 최근에 전세계에 확인 공표된바 있는 만장굴용암동굴시스템(13,268m)과 빌레못 단일용암동굴(11,749m)은 각각 세계 최장의 화산동굴로 제주도 땅밑에 도사리고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 뿐만아니라 석회동굴에 있어서도 그 규모는 작으나 지형지물에 있어서 매우 특이한 것들이 많이 나타나고 있어 세계에 알려지고 있다.(중략)

건축물 외벽에 노출해 설치토록 유지해 온 국내 도시가스사업법 가스배관 설치기준의 개정 논의가 본격화됐다. 한국가스안전공사는 지난 해 12월 16일 서울지역본부에서 정책 기술자문위원 8명이 참석한 가운데 '건축물 가스배관 설치기준 개선 공동연구'에 대한 착수회의를 갖고 본격적인 개정작업에 돌입했다. 연구기간은 내년 2011년 10월까지 총 11개월이며 이 연구에는 한국가스안전공사, 한국가스학회, 한국건설생활환경시험연구원, (주)삼천리 등 4개 기관이 참여하여, 안전성 검증과 설치기준, 시공매뉴얼 등을 마련하게 된다. 한국가스안전공사의 '건축물 가스배관 설치기준 개선 공동연구' 추진은 그동안 대한설비건설협회 가스설비공사협의회(위원장 이효련)의 지속적인 건의사항으로, 이 연구가 마무리되면 앞으로 일본, 영국 등 선진국과 같이 가스배관의 건축물 내 매몰 시공이 가능해질 것으로 보인다.

A new cultivar of Hibiscus 'Red Bohanjae' (Hibiscus syriacus 'Red Bohanjae') was developed after crossing between Hibiscus syriacus 'Andong' (♀) with white flowers and Hibiscus syriacus 'Samchully' (♂) with pink flowers to improve flower quality and growth habit. The Hibiscus breeding program was initiated in 2002, and H. syriacus 'Red Bohanjae' was preliminarily selected as '02-RV-17' in 2003 due to its stable flower quality with rich pink flowers and small tree type. The selected line was further evaluated for growth characteristics, leaf shape, leaf size, flowering characteristics, and tested for distinctness, homogeneity, and stability during 2004-2007. The characteristics preserved by grafting. 'Red Bohanjae' showed a small growth habit with slightly upright branches. The tree had potential use as a potted plant or bonsai because of its dwarf form. The new cultivar 'Red Bohanjae' had violet-pink color flowers (RHS N78C) with red eye spots, small size (9.2 cm) and spatulate (I-type) petals. Leaves were 4.2 cm long and 2.3 cm wide. After the evaluation of plant characteristics for 3 years (2005-2007), it was registered as cultivar 'Red Bohanjae' (4118, plant variety protection rights number) in 2012. 'Red Bohanjae' having violet-pink flowers with red eye and dwarf tree form seems to be suitable for pot or bonsai cultivation in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

'2011 대한민국 녹색에너지대전'이 지식경제부 주최, 에너지관리공단 주관으로 지난 10월 19일 서울 삼성동 코엑스(A,B홀)에서 개최되었다. 올 해로 31회를 맞이한 대한민국 녹색에너지대전은 '세이브 에너지, 스마트 라이프(Save Energy, Smart Life)라는 주제로 13개국, 247개 업체가 참가하였으며, 에너지절약 및 효율 향상 분야, 신재생에너지분야, 기후변화대응분야 등 녹색에너지 분야 전반을 총망라한 최신 녹색기술 제품들이 전시되었다. 이번 전시회는 코트라 주관의 수출상담회, 신재생에너지 유공자 포상이 열렸으며, 일반인 대상의 '신재생에너지 체험관'을 전시기간 내내 운영해 일반 관람객들이 태양광 선풍기 풍력자동차 등을 직접 조립해 보도록 해 관람객들의 호응을 얻었다. 21일 개최된 ESCO투자 사례 발표회에서는 산업체 건물에서 추진된 ESCO 투자 사례 정보를 제공해 주는 뜻 깊은 시간이 되었다. 특히 이번 전시회에는 대내외적으로 에너지절약에 대한 뜨거운 관심이 고조되는 가운데 롯데, LG전자, 삼성전자를 비롯해 효성, 삼천리 등 대기업이 대거 참가, 에너지효율 및 온실가스 저감 최신 기술을 선보였다. 이번 전시회에서는 에너지효율과 신재생에너지에 관심이 많은 관람객들과 최신에너지 기술을 도입하고자 하는 산업체 임직원, 신재생에너지 및 기후 변화대응분야 신규 사업에 관심이 있는 투자자 등 전시장을 찾는 모두에게 유익한 정보를 제공하는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었다.

This study analyzes and compares the geomorphic characteristics and environmental changes of coastal plains such as the Anju and Hamheung Plains located in the west and east coasts of North Korea, respectively, based on topographic maps of the 1910s and satellite images of the 2000s. The Anju Plain, so called by as Yeoldusamcheonribeol, can be divided into alluvial plains, coastal plains and erosional plains. The Hamheung Plain can be regarded as alluvial plains formed by Seongcheon-river. Approximately 84.98$km^2$ tidal flats have been reclaimed to farmlands and saltpans, and the most channels of medium and small rivers have been straightened at the Anju Plain during the last one hundred years. At the Hamheung Plain, on the other hands, approximately 3.40$km^2$ land has been increased by the advances of coastal line of the Seongcheon-river delta with a maximum of 800m, and channels of Seoseongcheon-river which showed anastomosing channels have been disappeared by reclamation. Gwang-po has been decreased by artificial reclamations and river sedimentary processes.
