암모니움 이온을 가진 카드뮴 호스트 착물의 방향족 게스트 분자에 대한 포접선택성 변화 (Variation of Inclusion Selectivities of the Cadmium Host Complexes with Ammonium Oniums for Aromatic Guest Molecules)

  • Inclusion selectivities of the cyanocadmate host complexes with ammonium oniums, $[Cd_x(CN)_{2x}][onium{\cdot}zG]$ (onium = $NMe_3Et^+$, $NMeEt{_3}^+$ and $NEt{_4}^+$, G = guest), have been investigated for $C_6H_6$ (B), PhMe (T), PhEt (E), ortho (O), meta (M), and para (P) isomers of $C_6H_4Me_2$ as the aromatic guest molecules. From the binary, ternary, quaternary and quinary mixed guests of B, T, E, O, M and P, the order of preference in the $NMe_3Et+$-host is $B{\gg}$T>P${\fallingdotseq}O{\fallingdotseq}M$ and E>O${\gg}P{\fallingdotseq}M$; in the $NMeEt{_3}^+$-host is T>B>P${\gg}O{\fallingdotseq}M$ and E>P${\gg}$M>O; in the $NEt{_4}^+$-host is $B{\gg}T{\fallingdotseq}O{\fallingdotseq}M{\fallingdotseq}P$. However, the $NEt{_4}^+$-host complexes of E, O, M and P mixed-guests were not obtained. These inclusion selectivities were compared to our previous results of the $NMe{_4}^+$-host; T>B>P${\gg}$M>O and E>P${\gg}$M>O.

  • Rare earth metal Ce has a relatively low melting point and high specific gravity. Because of its significantly high affinity to oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur, it is highly usable as a steel refining agent. However, because Ce compound has relatively high specific gravity, it is difficult to be separated from molten steel through floatation, and it degrades the purity of molten steel, or may clog the nozzle in continuous casting. Such problem may be solved by using an appropriate deoxidation agent together with Ce and settling molten steel sufficiently after refining. Thus a fundamental study in the formation behavior of non-metallic inclusion in Ce added Hyper Duplex STS melts was investigated. The addition amount of Ce, melt temperature were considered as experimental variables. A main non-metallic inclusion in mother alloy is 51(wt%MnO) - 27.6(wt%SiO$_2$)- 10.9(wt%$Cr_2O_3$). Non-metallic inclusion was dramatically decreased and the particle size was fined as the amount of Ce increased. Moreover (%MnO) and (%SiO$_2$) of non-metallic inclusion were decreased. But (%$Al_2O_3$)were relatively increased. The number of non-metallic inclusion were decreased and the large particle size were increased by increasing the temperature of molten steel.

  • We introduce countably strong inclusions ${\triangleleft}=({\triangleleft}_1,\;{\triangleleft}_2)$ on a biframe $L=(L_0,\;L_1,\;L_2)$ and i-strongly regular ${\sigma}$-ideals (i =1, 2) and then using them, we construct biframe $Lindel{\ddot{o}}fication$ of L. Furthermore, we obtain a sufficient condition for which L has a unique countably strong inclusion.

탄자니아산 루비 및 사파이어의 보석광물학적 특성 (Gemological Characteristics of Rubies and Sapphires from Tanzania)

  • 탄자리아산 강옥의 보석광물학적 특성을 파악하기 위하여 XRD, XRF, EPMA, FT-IR과 SEM-CL 분석을 수행하였다. 탄자니아산 강옥은 장파장 자외선이나 단파장 자외선에서 거의 형광반응이 나타나지 않는다. 탄자니아산 강옥은 내포물의 종류에 따라 5가지 유형으로 분류될 수 있으며, 유형 I은 액상 내포물 풍부한 형태, 유형 II는 기상 내포물 풍부한 형태, 유형 III은 액상 $CO_{2}$를 함유한 형태, 유형 IV는 고상 내포물을 함유한 형태, 유형 V는 유체 포유물과 고상 내포물 및 딸광물(daughter mineral)이 공생하는 복합 내포물 형태이다. 탄자니아산 강옥의 SEM-CL분석에서 성장구조가 수반된 쌍정조직, 스피넬 반정, 괴상조직과 누대조직 등이 관찰된다. 루비와 사파이어는 크롬과 철의 함량에 의해 뚜렷이 구분되며, $Al_{2}O_{3}/100-Cr_{2}O_{3}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ 다이어그램에서 각각 고유한 영역에 도시된다. FT-IR 분석결과, 탄자니아산 강옥 시료들이 모두 유사한 양상을 보이고 있으며, $455.09\~459.23\;cm^{-1},\;603.15\~611.71\;cm^{-1},\;1509.00\~1655.05\;cm^{-1}$$3436.41\~3468.87\;cm^{-1}$에서 흡수 피크가 관찰된다. 연구 결과는 탄자니아산 강옥의 감별 및 산지 추측에 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있다.

프로톤 핵자기공명스펙트럼 측정법에 의한 수용액중 파라시클로판과 나프탈렌 유도체들간의 포접 복합체 형성에 관한 연구 (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopic Study on Inclusion Complexation of Paracyclophane with Naphthalene Derivatives in Aqueous Solution)

  • Inclusion complexation of 1,7,21,27-tetraaza[7.1.7.1]paracyclophane (CPM 55) with 2,7-dihydroxynaphthalene (2,7-DHN) or 1,3-dihydroxynaphthalene (1,3-DHN) in pD 1.17 $DCl-D_2O$ solution was investigated by $^1H$ nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) using 4,4'-dimethylaminodiphenylmethane (ACM 11) as an acyclic analog of CPM 55. In CPM 55-naphthalene derivative complex, alkyl protons located in the cavity of CPM 55 were shown to be subjected to anisotropic shielding and protons of naphthalene moiety shifted remarkably to upfield. However, in ACM 11-naphthalene derivative systems, chemical shifts for protons of both DHN compounds were not significant. The remarkable chemical shift changes suggested that the naphthalene moiety of 2,7-DHN or 1,3-DHN was included in the hydrophobic cavity of CPM 55 in aqueous solution. From the continuous variation plots of induced chemical shifts of 2,7-DHN, it was found that 2,7-DHN was included in the cavity of CPM 55 at 1:1 molar stoichiometry. Both computer simulation of a inclusion complex and strong upfield chemical shift changes of 2,7-DHN protons supported the conformation of pseudoaxial inclusion as the presumed geometry of the host-guest complex.

고로쇠 Coumarinolignan의 β-Cyclodextrin 포접화합물 제조 및 암세포증식 억제활성 (Anti-Proliferative Effects of β-Cyclodextrin Inclusion Complexes with Coumarinolignans from Acer mono)

  • Two coumarinolignans, cleomiscosins C (1) and D (2) were isolated from the heartwood of Acer mono, together with four compounds, 5-O-methyl-(E)-resveratrol-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (3), 5-O-methyl-(E)-resveratrol-3-O-${\beta}$-D-apiofuranosyl-(1$\rightarrow$6)-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (4), scopoletin (5), and (E)-resveratrol-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (6). Of them, cleomiscosins C (1) and D (2) were applied to preparing inclusion complex molecules with ${\beta}$-cyclodextrin (${\beta}$-CD) to improve the very poor solubility in cell media. The CD complexes of 1 and 2 exhibited an enhancement of water solubility which is feasible to measure their cytotoxicity using a spectrophotometer in a cell-based assay. Anti-proliferative activity of these complex molecules was successfully estimated on HCT116 human colon cancer cells, and cleomiscosin D (2) showed anti-proliferative effects at the concentration of 1.95~31.2 ${{\mu}g}$/mL in a dose-dependent manner.

대형강괴 주조공정 중 비금속개재물 저감연구 (Nonmetallic Inclusion in the Large Steel Ingot Casting Process)

  • Inclusions in forged large steel ingots of plan carbon steel and tool steel are investigated using optical microscop observation and WDX analysis. The large nonmetallic inclusions which is over $30\sim300{\mu}m$ in their diameter were observed in the samples that has been no good on a nondestructive test. The most of the inclusions were consist of some kind of oxides, ${Al_2}{O_3}$, $SiO_2$, CaO, MgO in forms of particles and glassy with an iron particles. The experimental large steel ingot was cast with a pouring temperature which is about ten centigrade higher than the field standard. The inclusions were observed in the test ingot are the smaller than that was in a usual forged steel ingot and is spherical shape with a glassy agglomerated ${Al_2}{O_3}-SiO_2-CaO-MgO$ particle. The pouring temperature is affected on removing the nonmetallic inclusions during the solidification by a floating mechanism.

  • Substantially improved methods for the preparation of europium-doped yttrium oxide red phosphor with the inclusion of alkali metal halides having a general formula $(Y_{1-x}Eu_x)_2O_3$:MX where 0.025${\leq}$x${\leq}$0.2 and MX is alkali halide in the mole ratio 0.025 to 0.6, more preferably between 0.05 to 0.2 mole, are reported. Another series of the red phosphor materials with general formula $(Y_{1-x-y}Gd_xEu_y)_2O_3$:MX where 0.05${\leq}$x${\leq}$0.40 and 0.025${\leq}$y${\leq}$0.20 and MX is alkali halide in the mole ratio 0.025 to 0.5, more preferably between 0.1 to 0.2 mole, has also been presented. The inclusion of alkali halide greatly increase the luminance of the materials. The materials are very soft with fine particle size less than 100nm. The phosphorescent materials have good luminance in VUV region.

The Effect of Different Flaked Lupin Seed Inclusion Levels on the Growth of Growing Korean Native Bulls

  • Seventy-two Korean native bulls, with an average initial body weight of $247.2{\pm}2.34kg$ were used to determine the effect of different flaked lupin seed inclusion levels (0%, 15% and 30%; Control, LS15, LS30, respectively) on growth with a $3{\times}3$ randomized complete block design at the experimental farm of TS Corporation in Korea for 150 days. There were no significant differences in average daily gain (ADG) and feed:gain among treatments, However, LS30 increased concentrate intake and total feed intake (p<0.05) and decreased rice straw intake compared with Control and LS 15 (p<0.05), With inclusion of flaked lupin seeds, concentrate intake and total feed intake increased (p<0.01) and rice straw intake decreased (p<0.05) compared with Control. There were no specific changes in the health status of animals used in this experiment with inclusion of flaked lupin seeds in concentrates. Inclusion of flaked lupin seeds in the concentrates showed a tendency of reduced average daily total feed cost per kg weight gain compared with Control by 1.6% and 3.4%, respectively, in LS15 and LS30.

봉상 금-은광상의 광석광물, 유체포유물 및 안정동위원소 연구 (Ore Minerals, Fluid Inclusion and Stable Isotope Studies of the Bongsang Gold-silver Deposit, Republic of Korea)

  • 봉상 금-은광상은 백악기 안산암질 래필리응회암 내에 발달된 단층대를 충진한 석영맥광상이다. 이 광상의 광화작용은 단층-각력대에 수반되며 2시기로 구분된다. 1시기는 다시 조기와 말기로 구분되며 주된 광화시기이다. II시기는 광화작용이 관찰되지 않는다. I시기 조기는 모암변질과 천금속 황화광물이 관찰된다. I시기 말기는 금-은광물 정출시기로 자연은, 함은사면동석 및 휘안동은석과 함께 황철석, 섬아연석, 황동석 및 방연석 등의 황화광물이 관찰된다. 유체포유물 자료에 의하면, 광화I시기의 균일화온도와 염농도는 각각 $137{\sim}336^{\circ}C,\;0.0{\sim}10.6wt.%$ NaCl 로서 광화유체가 천수의 혼입에 의한 냉각과 희석이 있었음을 지시한다. 또한, 광화I시기 말기에 관찰되는 광물공생군으로부터 구한 생성온도와 황분압은 $<210^{\circ}C$$<10^{-15.4}$ atm를 갖는다. 황(3.4%o 기원은 화성기원과 모암내의 황에서 유래된 것으로 해석된다. 산소{2.9%o과 10.3%o(석영: 7.9%o과 8.9%o, 방해석: 2.9%o과 10.3%o)}, 수소(-75%o) 및 탄소(-7.0%o과 -5.9%o)동위원소값의 자료로 볼 때, 이 광상의 광화유체는 천수 기원의 유체가 주종을 이룬 것으로 보이며 광화작용이 진행됨에 따라 기원이 다른 천수의 혼입이 작용한 것으로 해석할 수 있다.
