Mg-xSn(x = 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 wt.%) 합금의 미세조직 및 부식특성 (Microstructure and Corrosion Behavior of Mg-xSn (x = 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 wt.%) Alloys)

  • In the present work, the corrosion properties of Mg-xSn (x = 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 wt.%) alloys have been investigated. Potentiodynamic polarization and immersion tests were carried out in 3.5% NaCl solution of pH 7.2 at room temperature to measure the corrosion properties of Mg-xSn (x = 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 wt.%) alloys. With increase of the Sn contents, the volume fraction of the $Mg_2Sn$ phase was increased. The corrosion rate of Mg-xSn alloys was increased up to 7 wt.%Sn and decreased above 9 wt.%Sn. Initiation of galvanic site during immersion mainly occurred at Mg/$Mg_2Sn$ interface and propagation went into ${\alpha}$-Mg. For this reason, corrosion properties of Mg-xSn (added from 1 wt.%Sn to 7 wt.%Sn alloys) alloys are decreased because the galvanic site was increased with increasing Sn addition. In Mg-9wt.%Sn alloy, however, the corrosion site were changed from Mg/$Mg_2Sn$ interface to ${\alpha}$-Mg/$M_2Sng$ interface in lamellar structure. Preferentially corrosion of ${\alpha}$-Mg/$M_2Sn$ interface in lamellar structure impeded corrosion propagation went into ${\alpha}$-Mg.

  • The cation exchange chromatographic method for the analysis of Babbitt metal has been studied. The quantitative separation of the mixture of Sb, Cu, Pb, and Sn ions has been obtained by elution, through 5cm column of resin, Rexyn 101 (Na form, 100~200 mesh), using 0.1 M NaCl solution for Sb, pH 4.5 and pH 7 solution of 0.01 M Na-Citrate + 0.1 M $NaNO_3$ for Cu and Pb, and 2NHCl solution for Sn as eluent.

나노 SnO2:CNT를 이용한 가스센서의 제작 및 특성연구 (Characteristics and Preparation of Gas Sensors Using Nano SnO2:CNT)

  • $SnO_2:CNT$ thick films for gas sensors were fabricated by screen printing method on alumina substrates and were annealed at $300^{\circ}C$ in air. The nano $SnO_2$ powders were prepared by solution reduction method using tin chloride ($SnCl_2.2H_2O$), hydrazine ($N_2H_4$) and NaOH. Nano $SnO_2:CNT$ sensing materials were prepared by ball-milling for 24h. The weight range of CNT addition on the $SnO_2$ surface was from 0 to 10 %. The structural and morphological properties of these sensing material were investigated using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscope. The structural properties of the $SnO_2:CNT$ sensing materials showed a tetragonal phase with (110), (101), and (211) dominant orientations. No XRD peaks corresponding to CNT were observed in the $SnO_2:CNT$ powders. The particle size of the $SnO_2:CNT$ sensing materials was about 5~10 nm. The sensing characteristics of the $SnO_2:CNT$ thick films for 5 ppm $H_2S$ gas were investigated by comparing the electrical resistance in air with that in the target gases of each sensor in a test box. The results showed that the maximum sensitivity of the $SnO_2:CNT$ gas sensors at room temperature was observed when the CNT concentration was 8wt%.

  • rose bengal(RB)과 NaI를 각각 감응제 및 초감응제로 사용하여 광전기 화학쎌 ITO/$SnO_2$/RB, NaI, $NaClO_4$/Pt로부터 얻은 광전류는 광조사시간의 경과에 따라 비교적 서서히 감소하였다. RB 염료 용액을 광조사하여 분광학적인 방법으로 분석한 결과, 들뜬 RB 분자는 분자내에 있는 요오드에 의해 삼중항 상태, $^3RB^*$로 바뀌고 iodide를 산화시킨 후 환원된 상태가 되어 $SnO_2$ 반도체에 전자를 주입하는 것으로 확인되었다. NaI 대신 $I_2$가 포함되면 $^3RB^*$ 상태에서 전자를 주입하고 염료는 빠르게 분해되므로 광전류는 급격히 감소하였다.

  • In this study, we found that it is important to have a specific management of standards which are the $12{\pm}3{\mu}m$ of plating thickness and $2{\pm}1%$ of tuning. To verify these standards, we checked the plating thickness and density of tuning through marginal valuation of each and checked size of a plating particle, adhesion of solder and condition of reflow after a section chief.

  • Fluorine-doped $SnO_2\;(SnO_2:F)$ films were prepared in ordinary atmosphere on borosilicate glass substrates using pyrosol deposition method starting from the solutions composed of $SnCl_4-5H_2O-NH_4F-CH_3OH-H_2O-HCl$ in an attempt to develop transparent conductors for use in amorphous silicon (a-Si) solar cello. The deposition rate of films increased with the increase in the content of $H_2O$, whereas it decreased with increasing the content of $CH_3OH$. When air was used as the carrier gas, the lowest electrical resistivity was obtained from a solution having $CH_3OH/H_2O$ mol ratio of about $2{\sim}3$ in the solution. The use of $N_2$ of the same flow rate as the carrier gab resulted always in the high resistive films, but the resistivity of the films decreased continuously with the increase in the content of $H_2O$. The surface morphology and preferred orientation of films were also affected by the solvent composition and the content of HCl in the solution. The room-temperature resistance of the films were fairly stable after heat-treatments up to $600^{\circ}C$.

가스센서용 $SnO_2$분말 제조시 잔류 염소이온이 Sn수화물의 열분해거동 및 분말물성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Residual Chloride Ion on Thermal Decomposition Behaviour os Stannic Acid and Physical Properties of $SnO_2$ Powder Fabricated for Gas Sensor)

  • 수산화물법에 의해 제작된 $\alpha$-stannic acid의 열분해 거동과 $SnO_{2}$분말의 성질에 미치는 잔류염소이온의 영향을 관찰하였다. $SnCl_{4}$$NH_{4}$OH 수용액을 중화시켜 $\alpha$-stannic acid침전물을 제작하고 $NH_{4}NO_{3}$수용액으로 세척하였다. 분말내의 잔류 염소이온의 양을 주절하기 위하여 세척정도를 3단계로 조정하였다. 세척후 $100^{\circ}C$에서 건조하고, $500^{\circ}C$ ~ $1100^{\circ}C$에서 하소함으로써 $SnO_{2}$분말을 제조하였다. $\alpha$-stannic acid의열분해 거동ㅇ르 DT-TGA 와 FTIR을 통하여 관찰하고, $SnO_{2}$분말의 조성과 입자크기 및 비표면적을 각각 AES, TEM 및 BET을 통하여 측정하였다. 잔류 염소이온 양이 감소되면, 저온 하소시 일차입자의 상대적 크기가 커지는 반면 고온하소시에는 상대적으로 감소되었ㄷ. 잔류 염소이온의 일부는 $\alpha$-stannic acid내의 격자산소 자리에 위치함으로써, 저온가열시 결정수탈리와 결정화를 지연시키고 또한 고온가열시에는 이의 증발에 의해 산소공공이 생성되어 소결을 촉진시킨다고 제의하였다.

벚나무 열매의 색소 추출물에 의한 견 및 면섬유에 대한 염색성 및 견뢰도 (Dyeing and Fastness of Silk and Cotton Fabrics Dyed with Cherry Extract)

  • A natural colorants was extracted from cherry by 10wt% aqueous acetic acid solution as an extractant. Silk and cotton fabrics were dyed with the cherry extract in the temperature range of $40-80^\circ{C}$ and for the time range of 30-60min. by pre- and post-mordanting with various mordants, their dyeability and fastness were investigated. The natural cherry extract prepared in this study has a maximum absorbance at 520nm. It was found that the optimum dyeing temperature and time were $40^\circ{C}$ and 50min, respectively. The pre-mordanting method was more effective than post-mordanting. All mordants except $SnCl_2\cdot{2H}_2O\;and\;FeSO_4\cdot{7H}_2O$ were effective for silk fabrics. However, the dyeability on cotton fabrics increased in the order of $CrK(SO_4)_2\cdot{12H_2O>(CH_3COO)_2Cu\cdot{H}_2O>CuSO_4\cdot{5H}_2O>AlK(SO_4)_2\cdot{12H}_2O>FeSO_4\cdot{7H}_2O>SnCl_2\cdot{2H}_2O$ among the mordants used in this study Fastness(light, water, washing, perpspiration fastness) on the silk and cotton fabrics increased with using mordants. The post-mordanting using mordant$(CH_3COO)_2Cu\cdot{H}_2O$ among the various mordants in this study gave the best fastness.

Fabrication of CuSn Nanofibers Prepared via Electrospinning

  • The Cu and CuSn/PVP nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning method by controlling various parameters. The precursor solution was prepared with copper(II) acetate monohydrate ($Cu(CH_3COO)_2$) and tin chloride dihydrate ($SnCl_2{\cdot}2H_2O$), and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) for adjusting viscosity. The fabricated nanofibers were calcined at 873 K in Ar atmospheric environment for 5 hours to remove the solvent and polymer. The morphology and diameter of nanofibers were measured by optical microscopy (OM) with Motic image plus 2.0 program. The components and chemical environment were investigated with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). From the XPS survey spectra, we confirmed that CuSn/PVP nanofibers were successfully fabricated. The XPS peaks of C 1s and N 1s were remarkably decreased after calcination of the nanofibers at 873 K. It implies that the PVP was completely decomposed after calcination at 873 K.

PCBs의 스크랩으로부터 Au 용출과 회수 (The Leaching and Recovery of Au from Scrap of PCBs)

  • 폐 PCBs의 스크랩으로부터 염소-차아염소산염 용액을 이용하여 Au와 Ag를 친환경적이고 효과적으로 용출시키고자 하였다. PCBs에 Cu, Sn, Sb, Al, Ni, Pb, Au 등과 같은 유용금속이 함유되어 있는 것을 EDS 분석으로 확인하였다. 최대 Au 용출율은 1%의 광액농도, 2:1의 염산:차아염소산나트륨 그리고 2 M의 NaCl 농도조건이다. Au 회수율이 가장 높은 메타중아황산나트륨 농도는 3 M에서였다. 염소-차아염소산염이 폐 컴퓨터에 함유되어 있는 Au와 Ag를 효과적으로 용출시킬 수 있는 용매제 임을 그리고 메타중아황산나트륨이 Au를 간단하게 침전시킬 수 있는 첨가제임을 확인하였다.
