아황산가스가 건조 과정중 잎담배 내용성분에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of $SO_2$ Gas on Chemical Composition of Tobacco Leaves During Flue-curing)

  • This experiment was carried out to study on the effect of SO$_2$ gas to chemical composition of tobacco leaves during flue-curing. The results were as follows: SO$_2$ gas in briquet was the major factor to damage with tobacco leaves. The damage only occured in a presence of moisture in tobacco leaves, it did not occured after color fix'lng stage which is a little leaf moisture. The danger of damage to tobacco leaves lies in 10ppm of SO$_2$ gas concentration. Follow with the SO$_2$ gas concentration increased, sugar and nitrogen contents became higher, polyphenol contents were loss, and the quality of tobacco leaves declined.

연속강우시 산성우의 이온농도 변화에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on Ion Concentration Change of Acid Rain by the Succeeding Raintall)

  • To investigate ionic characteristics of acid rain by the succeeding rainfall. bulk precipitation was collected every each 5mm rainfall from march to october 1990 at Dae Jeon area. pH, sulfate nitrate, chloride, ammonium ion was measured and analyzed. The result was as follows: 1. The weighted average pH of rain was 5.1$\pm$ 0.72(4.15~7.6) and rain pH less than 5.5 was appeared 51.3% 2. Average ion concentrations of sulfate, nitrate, chloride and ammonium ion was 125.12 $\mu$eq/l, 62.38 $\mu$eq/l, 31.95 $\mu$eq/l, 66.6 $\mu$eq/l and rates of each anions was 57%, 28.4%, 14.6% and rate of sulfate by nitrate was 2 times. 3. There is no correlations time interval of rainfall and Ion concentration change. 4. From initial to 15mm rainfall, each ion concentrations were decreased. and average concentration of pH, SO$^{-2}_{4}$, Cl ion concentration was increased in the succeeding rainfall 5. Only sulfate ion was correlated by the simple regression analysis with pH except NO$^{-}_{3}$, Cl$^{-}$ and NH$_{4}^{+}$ Cl$^{-}$ correlation coefficient was very high at the multiple regression analysis with pH. 6. Simple & multiple correlation coefficient among anions and NH$^{+}_{4}$ was very high especially N$^{+}_{4}$ and SO$^{2-}_{4}$ at simple regression analysis and SO$^{-2}_{4}$ and NO$_{3}^{-}$, Cl$^{-}$, NH$_{4}^{-}$ at multiple regression analysis.

유채의 SO42- 흡수 및 동화에 관한 연구 (SO42- Uptake and Assimilation in Forage Rape (Brassica napus))

  • 유채의 황 이용성에 대한 영향을 조사하기 위하여 유채 2 품종(cv. Akela, Colosse)을 2.0mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$와 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수, ATP sulfurylase의 활성과 염조직내의 glutathione(GSH) 함량을 측정하였다. 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 두 품종 모두 2.0mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에 비해 현저하게 낮은 ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수율을 나타냈다. 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 APT sulfurylase의 활성은 어린잎에서 두 품종 모두 증가하였으나 성숙된 잎에서의 활성은 큰 변화가 얼었다. 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 glutathione의 함량은 어린잎에서 두 품종 모두 증가하였으나 성숙된 잎에서는 Akela에서만 현저하게 감소하였다. 이러한 결과들은 유채품종간의 ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수와 ATP sulfurylase의 특이성 뿐만 아니라, ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수가 glutathione과 같은 황을 포함하고 있는 화합물로의 동화와 밀접한 관련이 있음을 나타낸다.

  • 석회석의 $CO_2$ 흡수반응에 미치는 흡수/재생 반응의 반복횟수와 $SO_2$ 농도의 영향을 살펴보기 위해 내경 0.1m,높이 1.17m의 기포유동층에서 $CO_2$흡수능력의 변화를 측정 및 고찰하였다 $CO_2$흡수제로는 단 양산 석회석이 사용되었으며 실험변수로는 반복횟수$(\~10회)$$SO_2$ 농도 (0, 2000, 4000ppm)를 고려하였다. $CO_2$흡수능력은 반복횟수가 증가함에 따라 감소하였으며 10회 반복 후에는 초기성능의 $50\%$까지 감소하였다. 또한 $CO_2$흡수능력은 $SO_2$ 농도가 증가함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 세 가지의 $CO_2$ 농도조건에 대해 총 CaO 이용률은 일정하게 유지되었으며 $SO_2$ 농도가 증가함에 따라 $SO_2$흡수능력은 증가하고 $CO_2$흡수능력은 감소하여, $CO_2/SO_2$동시흡수 반응에서 $SO_2$흡수반응이 $CO_2$흡수반응보다 우세하게 일어남을 알 수 있었다.

돈분과 사과착즙박의 혼합 혐기소화액의 황산첨가 pH 조절이 호기성 액비화과정에서의 화학적 특성 변화 (Effect of pH Adjustment by Adding Sulphuric Acid on Chemical Properties in Aerobic Liquefying Process of Co-Digestate of Swine Manure and Apple Pomace)

  • 본 연구는 돈분과 사과착즙박 혼합 혐기소화액의 호기성 처리 과정에서 황산(H2SO4)을 이용한 혐기소화액의 pH를 7.0과 6.5 조절 처리가 암모니아 휘발과 화학적 특성 변화에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 수행하였다. 혐기소화액은 0.3 ㎥ air/㎥·min 조건에서 60일 동안 폭기처리를 실시하였다. 무처리구의 혐기소화액은 호기성 액비화 과정 중 pH가 상승하고, EC와 T-N 함량이 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 황산 무처리 혐기소화액은 pH가 높아 액비화 과정에 암모니아 농도가 172.6 mg/L로 높았으나 황산 처리 pH 조절 혐기소화액은 암모니아(NH3) 발생이 유의적으로 감소되었다. 황산 무처리 혐기소화액은 액비화 과정 중 암모늄태 질소 함량이 47.2% 감소되었다. 혐기소화액의 pH 조절 처리구는 암모늄태 질소의 함량이 황산 처리 pH 조절 처리구에 비하여 높았다. 또한, 황산(H2SO4)처리는 혐기소화액에서 질소, 인산 함량의 증가에 영향을 주어 비료 성분이 높아지는 효과를 나타내었다. 따라서 혐기소화액의 황산 첨가에 의한 pH 조절은 호기성 액비화 공정에서 암모니아 휘산 저감과 질소 함량을 높이기 위한 유용한 방법으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • The critical voltage of hard coat range of Al alloys (K 186, 43S) at various electrolytes and the effects of voltage, temperature of electrolytes and concentration of sulfric acid were investigated, m the hope that to find the adequate voltage. Two kind of A1 alloys were anodized in three typical electrolytes and micro vickers hardness of the films were measured. With respect to the relationship between the hardness of the film and the voltage The result of this experiment are as fallows. 1. The critical voltage of hard coat rangs for the electrolytes $H_2SO_4\;10%,\;H_2SO_4\;10%\;+\;H_2C_2O_4\;2H_2O\;10g/l,\;H_2SO_4\;10%\;+\;NaHSO_4\;5%$ was 20V 22V 24V respectively. 2. $H_2SO_4\;10%\;+\;NaHSO_4$ 5% electrolyte was most adventageous among the three electrolyte in the respect of hardness. 3. The effect of concentration of sulphuric acid was not appeared.

High Atmospheric Loading for $SO_2$ and Sulfate Observed in the Kanto Area, Japan During the Miyakejima Volcanic Eruption

  • Combined gas and aerosol measurements at a downwind area of the volcanic plume would be essential for helping to access the impact of the volcanic eruption on the local ecosystem and residents. An intensive and the fine time resolution measurement of $SO_2$, sulfate and PM2.5 was made to estimate their distribution in the Kanto area of Japan during the Miyakejima volcanic eruption period. In Tokyo, the 1 hr average $SO_2$ concentration observed before the eruption was 23.9 ppbv, while that of after eruption was 140.4 ppbv. In the Saitama Prefecture, the average concentration of $SO_2$ marked in the present study was two times higher than the average before the volcanic eruption. The PM2.5 mass concentrations in Sitama ranged from 3.8 to $136{\mu}g\;m^{-3}$. Sulfate accounts for $4.4{\sim}39.6%$ of PM2.5 in Sitama. The good correlationship between the concentrations of $SO_2$ and sulfate was obtained. The results of the VAFTAD and HYSPLIT models indicate that $SO_2$, sulfate, and PM2.5 measured in the present study would be expected to be significantly affected by the Miyakejima volcanic plume.

Stripping of Fe(III) from the Loaded Mixture of D2EHPA and TBP with Sulfuric Acid Containing Reducing Agents

  • Solvent extraction of Fe(III) from chloride solution by using a mixture of D2EHPA (Di-(2-ethylhexyl)-phosphoric acid) and TBP (Tri-butyl phosphate) and the reductive stripping of Fe(III) from the loaded organic were investigated. Quantitative extraction of Fe(III) from the solution (Fe concentration = 90 g/L) was accomplished in two cross-current extraction stages by using the mixture of D2EHPA and TBP. In order to facilitate the stripping efficiency, a reductive stripping method was employed by using $H_2SO_3$ or $Na_2SO_3$ as a reducing agent. The addition of $H_2SO_4$ into reducing agents led to improvement in the stripping efficiency while high concentration acid would suppress it. Both of the mixtures of $H_2SO_4+H_2SO_3$ and $H_2SO_4+Na_2SO_3$ showed good efficiency for the stripping of Fe(III), while the latter was recommended as the stripping solution based on the economics and experimental condition.

여름철 북태평양고기압 하에서 사쿠라지마 화산 분출(2018년 7월 16일)이 부산지역 초미세먼지 농도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Sakurajima Volcanic Eruption (July 16, 2018) on PM2.5 Concentration in Busan under Summertime North Pacific High Pressure Condition)

  • This research investigated the effect of the eruption of Japan Sakurajima volcano on the concentration of ultrafine particle when the north Pacific high pressure exists in the Busan in summer. As a result of analyzing the forward trajectory using the HYSPLIT model, the air parcel from Sakurajima volcano passed through the sea in front of Busan at 1500 LST on July 17, 24 hours after the volcanic eruption. As a result of analyzing the PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations in the Busan for two days from July 16 to 17, 2018, the Sakurajima eruption in Japan, it can be seen that there was a high increase in PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations compared to the previous day. As a result of analyzing the backward trajectory, the air mass that reached Busan at 1300 LST on July 17, 2018 has moved near the Sakurajima volcano at 1,500 m, 2,000 m, and 3,000 m. The concentration of SO42- in PM2.5, the concentration of all three stations in Busan showed a sharp increase from 1000 LST on July 17th. Looking at the NH4+ concentration in PM2.5, it shows a very similar variation trend to SO42-, and the correlation coefficient between the two components is 0.96 for Jangrimdong and Yeonsandong, and 0.85 for Busan New Port. Looking at the NO3- concentration in PM2.5, the same high concentrations as SO42 and NH4+ were not observed in the afternoon of July 17th.
