족삼리(足三里)($ST_{36}$).신수(腎兪)($BL_{23}$)에 대한 당귀약침이 Freund's Adjuvant로 유발된 백서(白鼠)의 관절염에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Angelica gigas NAKAI Pharmacopuncture at $ST_{36}$ and $BL_{23}$ on Freund's Adjuvant Arthritis in Rats)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate that effect of Angelica gigas NAKAI pharmacopuncture(AGN-Ph) by concentration at $ST_{36}$(足三里) and $BL_{23}$(腎兪) in Freund's adjuvant rats. Methods : The experimental model of arthritis was induced by injection of Freund's adjuvant into Sprague Dawley(SD) rats. After arthritis was induced, AGN-Ph was injected by concentration at $ST_{36}$ and $BL_{23}$ of rats every other day for 6 times. Thereafter, edema rate, body weight, IFN-${\gamma}$, TNF-${\alpha}$, hematologic assay were measured. Results : The results were as follows, 1. After 3 times AGN-Ph treatment, the mean of edema rate was significantly decreased in AGN-Ph group 3 than control group. And after 6 times AGN-Ph treatment, the mean of edema rate was significantly decreased in AGN-Ph group 1, 2, 3 than control group. 2. The mean of body weight was significantly increased in AGN-Ph group 1, 3 than control group and saline group. 3. The mean of IFN-${\gamma}$ was significantly increased in AGN-Ph group 3 than control group. 4. The mean of TNF-${\alpha}$ was significantly increased in saline group than control group. But the mean of TNF-${\alpha}$ in AGN-Ph group 2, 3 showed no significance compared with control group's. 5. In hematologic assay, levels of WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit showed no significance in all groups. Conclusions : These results are suggest that the Angelica gigas NAKAI pharmacopuncture(AGN-Ph) at $ST_{36}$ and $BL_{23}$ has a suppressing inflammation effect on Freund's adjuvant arthritis in rats.

  • The reaction of $IrClH_2(CO)(Ph_3P)_2$ ($Ph_3P$=triphenylphosphine) with acrylonitrile (AN) produces a stoichiometric amount of propionitrile (PN) at $100^{\circ}C$ under nitrogen, which suggests that the catalytic hydrogenation of AN to PN with $IrCl(CO)(Ph_3P)_2$ proceeds through the hydride route where the formation of the dihydrido complex, $IrClH_2(CO)(Ph_3P)_2$ is the initial step. The rate of the hydrogenation of AN to PN with $IrCl(CO)(Ph_3P)_2$ is decreased by the presence of excess $Cl^-$ in the reaction system, which suggests that $Cl^-$ is the dissociating ligand in the catalytic cycle. It has been also found that the rate of the hydrogenation increases with inercase both in hydrogen pressure and in concentration of free $Ph_3P$, and with decrease in AN concentration in the reaction system.

  • 韓國産 陸棲貧毛類의 分類學的 硏究의 일련으로서 1965年 $\\sim$ 1966年 및 1968年에 採集된 울릉도 産을 調査한 結果 3科 5屬 10種(Allolobophora caliginosa trapezoides, Eisenia foetida, Pheretima agrestis, Ph. heteropoda, Ph. hilgendorfi, Ph. hupeiensis, Ph. phaselus, Ph. serrata, Ph. sp. 1 Ph. sp. 2)을 報告하였다. 울릉도의 陸棲貧毛類에 관해서는 지금까지 報告된 바 없으므로 이들은 全部 울릉도 未記錄이 되고 이중 Pheretima heteropoda Goto et Hatai 는 韓國 未記錄種이고 Phertima hilgendorfi 는 male pore를 가진 點이 本土産과 比較해서 若干 特異하였다.

  • Effect of initial PH on the lipid accumulation and fatty acid composition of some species of mold were investigated. The maximum lipid content content produced by Aspergillus niger var. macrosporus was 17.5% at PH 3.5, by Aspergillus fumigatus 23.5% at PH 3.5 by Penicillium spinulosum 12.0% at PH 4.0 and by Penicillium notatum 7.3% at PH 4.0. The major fatty acids were palmitic, stearic, oleic and linoleic acid in all experimental molds. At PH from 4.5 to 6.0, the proportion of linoleic acid was increased and those of palmitic and oleic acid were decreased with rising in PH, therefore, degree of lipid unsaturation was increased in all experimental molds.

소백산 陸棲貧毛類의 分類學的 硏究 (Earthworms from Mt. Sopaik, Korea)

  • 著者들은 1968, 1971 및 1972년의 3個年間 소백산에서 採集한 지렁이 총 1,850個體를 調査 整理한 결과 Pheretima agrestis, Ph. gucheonensis, Ph. hilgendorfi, Ph. jiriensis, Ph. koreana, Ph. soulensis 및 Ph. susakii patina 의 7기지종과 신종 Ph. planta 와 Ph. sopaikensis 등 총 1屬 9種을 얻었다. 신종 Ph. planta는 체장 105mm., 체폭 5.5mm., 체절수 101개이며, spermathecal pore 2雙으로서 vi체절과 vii 체절 腹面 setal line 바로 위에 位置한다. 또 male pore region의 양모에 있어서 뚜렷한 特徵을 나타내고 있다. 신종 Ph. sopaikensis 는 기지종인 Ph. koreana 다음으로 많은 수가 채집되었으며 체장 80mm., 체폭 4.5mm., 체절수 82개이며 spermathecal pore는 2雙으로서 5/6, 6/7에 位置한다. 특히 xviii 체절 male pore 사이에 雙을 이 불규칙적인 모양의 genital patches 는 본종의 특징이다.

  • Oligomerization of phenylacetylene is catalyzed by $Rh(ClO_4)(CO)(PPh_3)_2$ (Rh-1), $[Rh(CO)(PPh_3)_3]ClO_4$ (Rh-2), $[Rh(COD)L_2]ClO_4 (L_2=(PPh_3)_2$, Rh-3; $(PPh_3)(PhCN)$, Rh-4; $(PhCN)_2$, Rh-5), $[Rh(C_3H_5)(Cl)(CO)(SbPh_3)_2]ClO_4$ (Rh-6), $[Ir(COD)L_2]ClO_4 (L_2=(PPh_3)_2$, $Ir-1; (PPh_3)(PhCN)$, $Ir-2; (PhCN)_2$, Ir-3; (AsPh_3)(PhCN)$, $Ir-4; Ph_2PCH_2CH_2PPh_2$, Ir-5; COD, Ir-6 and 2,2'-dipyridyl, Ir-7), $Ir(ClO_4)(CO)(PPh_3)_2$, $Ir-8, [Ir(PhCN)(CO)(PPh_3)_2]ClO_4$, Ir-9 to produce dimerization products, 1,3-diphenylbut-1-yn-3-ene, 1, (E)-1,4-diphenylbut-1-yn-3-ene, 2 and (Z)-1,4-diphenylbut-1-yn-3-ene, 3, and cyclotrimerization products, 1,3,5-triphenylbenzene, 4 and 1,2,4-triphenylbenzene, 5. Product distribution of the oligomers varies depending on various factors such as the nature of catalysts, reaction temperature, counter anions and excess ligand present in the reaction mixtures. Increasing reaction temperature in general increases the yield of the cyclotrimerization products. Exclusive production of dimer 1 and trimer 4 can be obtained with Ir-1 at 0 $^{\circ}$C and with Ir-2 in the presence of excess PhCN (or $CH_3CN$) at 50 $^{\circ}$C, respectively. Dimer 2 (up to 81%) and trimer 5 (up to 98%) are selectively produced with Rh-1 at 50 and 100 $^{\circ}$C respectively. Production of 3 is selectively increased up to 85% by using $PF_6$- salt of $[Ir(COD)(PPh_3)_2]$+ at 25 $^{\circ}$C. Addition of $CH_3I$ to Rh-1 produces $CH_3PPh_3^+I-$ and increases the rate of oligomerization(disappearance of phenylacetylene). Among the metal compounds investigated in this study, Ir-1 catalyzes most rapidly the oligomerization where the catalytically active species seems to contain lr(PPh3)2 moiety. The stoichiometric reaction of phenylacetylene wth Ir-9 at 25 $^{\circ}$C quantitatively produces hydridophenyl-ethynyl iridium(III) complex, $[lr(H)(C{\equiv}CPh)(PhCN)(CO)(PPh_3)_2]ClO_4$ (Ir-11), which seems to be an intermediate for the oligomerization.

밀 분지성수의 유전연구 (Inheritance of Branched Spike of Wheat)

  • 일수립수가 보통소맥보다 월등히 많은 분지성소맥의 분지성과 부모용의 유전현상을 구명하고자 분지성 소맥 $\overline{PH}$ 및 PH127에 올밀과 중국 8001를 교배하여 얻은 4개 조합의 $F_1, $F_14, 가 집단과 양친을 고온단일 및 고온장일하에서 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 공시된 전조합에서 $F_1$이 정상수로 나타나 분지성에 관여하는 유전자는 열성인 것으로 판명되었다. 2. 분지성의 유전양식은 쓰여진 재료에 따라 차이가 있어서 PH127은 2쌍의 열성유전자에 의하여 PH119은 3쌍의 열성유전자에 의하여 표현되는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 분지성의 표현은 일장에 의하여 그 분리비가 변하지 않았으나 단일조건에서 분지의 발육이 왕성한 편이었다. 4. PH127 및 PH119의 부모용은 단순우성유전자에 의하여 지배되는 것으로 나타났으며 부모용은 PH119\times중국8001에서 분지성과 독립인 것으로 그러나 PH 119$\times$올밀에서는 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

(tb-PMP)3Tb-(Ph3PO) 단일층 OLEDs의 전기전도 및 발광 특성 (Electrical Conduction and Emission Properties of (tb-PMP)3Tb-(Ph3PO) Single Layer OLEDs)

  • We have fabricated single organic layer devices of the organolanthanide complex, terbium tris-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-(tertiarybutyry)pyrazol-5-one)triphenylphosphine oxide [$(tb-PMP)_{3}Tb-(Ph_{3}PO)$] for the investigation of its light emission and electrical conduction properties. The thickness of ($(tb-PMP)_{3}Tb-(Ph_{3}PO)$) layer was varied to 60, 75, 95 nm. Mg and Ca layers were used for the cathode contact. The electrical conduction in the $(tb-PMP)_{3}Tb-(Ph_{3}PO)$ single layer devices was dominated by the injection of electrons into the organic layer from the cathode. A higher current density at much lower voltages can be attained with Ca cathode because of the enhanced electron injection. The device shows very sharp emission at 548 nm. The FWHM of the strongest emission peak was 12 nm.

Building Calibration Curve for Py-GC/MS Analysis of SBR/BR Blend Rubber Compounds

  • A calibration curve is needed to determine the SBR and BR blend ratio of SBR/BR blend rubber compounds using pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass chromatography (Py-GC/MS) or Py-GC. In general, a calibration curve is obtained using reference SBR/BR vulcanizates with various blend ratios. In this study, the calibration curves were obtained using reference samples made of rubber solutions and were compared to those plotted using the reference SBR/BR vulcanizates. Calibration curves using variations of 1,3-butadiene/styrene, 4-vinylcyclohexene (VCH)/styrene, 2-phenylpropene (PhP)/butadiene, PhP/VCH, 4-phenylcyclohexene (PhCH)/butadiene, and PhCH/VCH ratios with the BR content were examined for the suitability. We found that the calibration curves obtained using the mixed rubber solution references (1,3-butadiene/styrene and PhP/butadiene) could replace those constructed using the reference SBR/BR vulcanizates. The calibration curves of 1,3-butadiene/styrene and PhP/butadiene obtained using the raw references can be used for the determination of the SBR/BR blend ratios by applying some correction factors.

대장균 베타-갈락토시데이즈를 이용하여 합성된 Phenylethanol Galactoside의 NMR Spectroscopy 및 Mass spectrometry (NMR Spectroscopy and Mass Spectrometry of Phenylethanol Galactoside synthesized using Escherichia coli 𝛽-Galactosidase)

  • 대장균 효소 𝛽-gal를 이용하여 합성된 phenylethanol galactoside (PhE-gal)의 분자구조를 NMR (1H-와 13C-)과 고성능 mass spectrometry를 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 PhE-gal은 1H NMR에서 2-phenylethanol (PhE)에 갈락토실기가 도입되었음을 나타내는 피크가 나타났다. 방향족 고리에서 오는 𝛿H 7.30~7.21 ppm의 피크와 𝛿H 2.88 ppm에 나타난 벤질기 위치의 CH2에서 오는 피크는 PhE가 존재함을 나타낸다. 지방족 사슬 영역인 𝛿H 4.31 ppm, 4.07 ppm과 𝛿H 3.86~3.38 ppm에서 나타나는 7개의 proton 피크로부터 단당류가 도입되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 13C NMR 스펙트럼에서 나타난 12개의 탄소 피크 중 4개의 피크는 방향족 고리인 페닐기로부터, 또한 단당류에서 기인한 6개의 탄소피크가 존재하므로 PhE에 단당이 도입되었음을 알 수 있다. PhE-gal의 분자량을 확인하기 위하여 질량분석기로 분석한 결과 m/z가 307.1181인 PhE-gal의 sodium adduct ion ([M+Na]+)이 나타나 생성물이 PhE-gal임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구결과 E. coli 𝛽-galactosidase에 의한 촉매반응으로 PhE에 갈락토즈가 첨가된 생성물인 PhE-gal이 성공적으로 생합성 되었음을 확인하였다.
