Electrical Characteristics and Microstructure Control of Zinc Oxide Viaristors (ZnO 바리스터의 미세구조제어와 전기적 특성)

  • The effect of inclusion particles on the microstructure development and electrical characteristics in the systems $ZnO-Bi_2O_3-CoO-Sb_2O_3\;and\;ZnO-Bi_2O_3-CoO-Sb_2O_3-Cr_2O_3 were investigated. The growth of ZnO grains, which was controlled by the spinel particles during sintering, decreased with increasing amount of spinel particles. Addition of $Cr_2O_3(0.5mol\%) increased the breakdown voltage without affecting the non-linear characteristics. The calculated barrier voltage of the $ZnO-Bi_2O_3-CoO-Sb_2O_3\;-and\;ZnO-Bi_2O_3-CoO-Sb_2O_3-Cr_2O_3$ systems were about 3.1V and 2.9V, respectively.

  • The effect of additions, $TiO_2$ and $ZrO_2$ as nucleant on the base glass which composition was determined to 0.97 $Li_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2$ has been investigated by means of D.T.A., X-ray diffraction and dilatation. $TiO_2$ and $ZrO_2$ as nucleant were added 0.06mole, in which ratios of $TiO_2$/$ZrO_2$ were varied 1/0, 2/1, 1/1, 1/2 and 0/1. The crystalline phases were appeared to $\beta$-spodumene as principal, $\beta$-eucryptite and $ZrO_2$ as secondary, regardless of nucleant variations. The crystallinity of the crystallized glass added $TiO_2$, $ZrO_2$ mixture as nucleant was higher than that of the glass added $TiO_2$ or $ZrO_2$ only. The crystallinity of the glass added $TiO_2$/$ZrO_2$ =1/1 was highest. Increasing the addition of $ZrO_2$, it has been observed that the crystal growing temperature became higher.

Effect of SiO2/B2O3 ratio on Li ion conductivity of a Li2O-B2O3-SiO2 glass electrolyte

  • A lithium ion conducting borosilicate glass was fabricated by a conventional melt quenching technique from a mixture of Li2CO3, B2O3 and SiO2 powders. The Li ion conductivity of the lithium borosilicate glasses was evaluated in terms of the SiO2/B2O3 ratio. In the Li2O-B2O3-SiO2 ternary glass, the glass forming region decreases with an increasing Li2O content. At the same Li2O, the crystallization tendency of the glass samples increases with the SiO2/B2O3 ratio, resulting in a reduced glass forming region in the Li2O-B2O3-SiO2 ternary glass. The electrical conductivity moderately depends on the SiO2/B2O3 ratio in the Li2O-B2O3-SiO2 ternary glass. The conductivity of the glasses slightly increases with the SiO2/B2O3 ratio. The observed phenomenon can be explained by the modification of the glass structure as a function of the SiO2 content.

  • O2O(Online-to-offline) service is the new commerce system form that mixed information search and payment of products and services from online and receipt of goods from offline. O2O commerce combine advantage of existing electronic commerce and redeem the critical point of each commerce circulation method, but earnings model is still lacking compared to development speed of O2O technology. Therefore this study drew common factor applied to O2O service to search success factor of O2O commerce on the point of view as a customer Centered by existing B2C electronic commerce, Mobile commerce, and service quality model of offline commerce included O2O commerce method. Further we suggest O2O success factor model combined new O2O success factor additionally reflecting qualitative research result based on drew O2O success service Quality factor.

  • Al2O3/t-ZrO2 particulate composites were prepared by sintering at 150$0^{\circ}C$ and 1$600^{\circ}C$ for 2h in air and microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. Although most ZrO2 particles existed at Al2O3 grain boundaries a few ZrO2 particles within Al2O3 grains. Al2O3 grain growth was depressed due to the pinning effect by ZrO2 particles. During sintering coarsening of intergranular ZrO2 particles occurred as a results of the elimination of ZrO2 intraagglomerate grain boundaries and the coalescence of dragged ZrO2 particles by migrating Al2O3 grain boundries. Changes in mechanical properties of Al2O3 composites were dependant on microstructure of Al2O3 matrix and on size and structure of dispersed ZrO2.

  • Spinel pigments, developing black color in high temperature glazes at oxidation or reduction atmosphere, without CoO because of its high price were synthesized by solid solution method. Ten mixed compositions consisted of NiO, MnO, $Fe_2O_3 and $Mn_2O_3$ were fired at $1250^{\circ}C$ for 1h. The resulting pigments were characterized by using XRD, FT-IR, SEM and UV-vis spectrometer. Structure of the pigments are spinel and particles' shape are spherical or cubic. Glazed tiles containing 5 wt% pigments were fired at $1260^{\circ}C$ and $1240^{\circ}C$ in reduction atmosphere. Color in glazes were analyzed by UV-vis spectrometer. Colors of NiO 0.875 MnO $0.125{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.4875{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.0125 mole% and NiO 0.875 MnO $0.125{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.3875{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.1125 mole% in lime glaze showed black in oxidation, in reduction NiO 0.875 MnO $0.125{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.4875{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.0125 mole% and NiO 0.875 MnO $0.125{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.4375{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.55{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.0125 mole% showed black. In case of lime-barium glaze, NiO 0.875 MnO $0.125{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.3875{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.1125 mole%, NiO 0.975 MnO $0.075{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.4375{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.0625 mole% and NiO 0.925 MnO $0.075{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.4375{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.0625 mole% showed black color in oxidation and NiO 0.875 MnO $0.125{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.3875{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.1125 mole%, NiO 0.925 MnO $0.075{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.4375{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.0625 mole% and NiO 0.725 MnO $0.275{\cdot}Fe_2O_3$ $0.4375{\cdot}Cr_2O_3$ $0.50{\cdot}Mn_2O_3$ 0.0625 mole% showed black one in reduction.

  • Vanadate glass in the $LiO_2-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ system containing 10mol% glass fonner, $P_2O_5$ and $Bi_2O_3$ was prepared by melting the batch in pt. crucible followed by Quenching on the copper plate. We found that $LiO_2-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ glass-ceramics obtained from nucleation of glass showed signifieantly higher capacity and longer cycle life than conventionally made crystalline $LiV_3O_{8}$. In the present paper, we describe the charge / discharge properties during crystallization process and find the best crystallization condition of $LiO_2-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ glass as cathod material.

  • The joining behavior of YSZ ceramics to the glasses used in the $9Al_2O_3-24ZrO_2-51SiO_2-16R_2O$ and $9Al_2O_3-24ZrO_2-51SiO_2-7La_2O_3-9R_2O$ (wt%) glass systems was investigated. The glass transition and softening temperatures were determined to be $430^{\circ}C$ and $760^{\circ}C$, respectively. The behavior of the contact angle was inversely proportional to an increase in the temperature. The Zr element in YSZ acted as a nucleation agent and contributed to the bonding behavior at the interface.

  • The effects of the addition of either monoclinic $ZrO_2(ZrO_2(m))$ or tetragonal $ZrO_2(ZrO_2(t))$ containing 5.35[wt%] $Y_2O_3$ on the physical properties and electrical conductivity of $Al_2O_3$ were investigated. The addition of $ZrO_2$(m) and $ZrO_2$(t) increased sintered density of $Al_2O_3$. The Vickers hardness also increased as addition of $ZrO_2$(t) increased going through a maximum at 20[wt%] and the hardness of the specimens was found to be dependent on the sintered density. The addition of $ZrO_2$(t) improved the hardness of $Al_2O_3-ZrO_2$ systems and the $ZrO_2$(m) addition showed the better effect on the thermal shock property of $Al_2O_3-ZrO_2$ systems than that of the $ZrO_2$(t) addition. Above 15[wt%] addition of $ZrO_2$(t), the electrical conductivity is gradually increased with increasing applied voltage but not effects by addition of $ZrO_2$(m).

  • In this study, Li2O-BaO-Ga2O3-TeO2-TiO2-GeO2 glasses with high transmittance in mid-infrared region and high refractive indices were successfully synthesized. The relationship between glass properties and glass composition was analyzed. In Li2O-BaO-Ga2O3-TeO2-TiO2-GeO2 glass system, as increasing TeO2 concentration, the refractive index increases and the glass transition temperature decreases. In addition, as increasing BaO concentration, the refractive index increases without decrease of Abbe number. The IR-cut off wavelength shifted to the longer wavelength with increasing TeO2 and BaO contents due to their large molecular weight. The glass transition temperature significantly decreases when BaO was replaced with Li2O.
