A Study on the Accuracy of the Loran-C Fix of Korean Chain in Pusan Area (부산지역에서의 Loran-C 한국체인의 측위정도에 관한 연구)

  • The operation of Far East Chain(GRI 5970) of Loran - C system had been stopped on June, 1995, but that of Korean Chain(GRI 9930) of Loran - C system which was jointed with North West Pacific Chain(GRI 8930) and Russia Chain(GRI 7950) by international cooperation, was started on January 1996. In this paper, in order to study the accuracy of Loran - C fix of Korean Chain, the authors examined and analyzed the data of the reciever of Loran - C(LC -90, Furuno) and GPS(AccNav Sport super (TM), Eagle) measured automatically and continually for 2 seconds at interval of 5 minutes from November 22, 1992, to January 20, 1996 at the fixed position of National Fisheries University of Pusan, The results obtained were as follows ; 1)The mean time differences of M-W, M-X, and M-Y pair measured in the base observed position were 12333.09${\mu}$s, 28338.44${\mu}$s, and 42806.01${\mu}$s respectively and the mean standard deviations of that were 0.0121${\mu}$s, 0.0290${\mu}$s, and 0.0327${\mu}$s respectively. The daily and monthly variance forms of time difference at each pair appeared in a similar reappearance. 2)The mean standard deviations of the latitude and longitude by Loran - C were 9.1m and 17.4m in W.X pair, 11.5m and 13.7m in W.Y pair, and 8.1m and 29.3m in X.Y pair respectively, and then the probable radiuses within 95% of each pair were 39.2m, 35.7m, and 60.8m, respectively. Therefore, It is to be desired that W.Y par is selected to improve the accuracy in Pusan area. 3)The mean standard deviations of the latitude and longitude by GPS were 15.4m and 15.0m and the probable radius within 95% was 43.4m. 4)The position errors for GPS and each pair of Loran - C were 16.0m to the South in GPS and 265.2m to the East in W.X pair of Loran - C, 279.5m to the North in W.Y pair of that, and 224.3m to the North-West in X.Y pair of that, so GPS is about 250m higher than Loran - C in accuracy.

  • The synthesis of the intramolecular donor - stabilized silyl and germyl complexes of the type ($Cab^c.p) MMe_2X$ (2a:M=Si, X=Cl;2b;M= Ge, X=Cl;2e;M=Si,X=H) was achieved by the reaction of $LiCab^c,p$ (1) with $Me_2SiClX$ and $Me_2GeCl_2$ respectively. The intramolecular M←P interacion in 2a-2c is provided by $^1H$, $13^C.$, $31^P$ and $29^Si$ NMR spectroscopy. The salt elimination reactions of dichlorotetramethyldisilane and -digermane with 1 afforded the $bis(\sigma-carboranylphosphino)disilane$ and disgermane [$(Cab^C.P)MMe_2]_2(4a;M$ = Si;4b: M=Ge). The oxidative addition reaction of 4a-4b with $pd_2(dba)_3CHCl_3afforded$ the bis(silyl)-and bis(germyl)-palladium complexes. The chloro-bridged dipalladium complexes were obtained by the reaction of 2a-2b with $pd_2(dba)_3CHCl_3$ The crystal structures of 5a and 7b were determined by X-ray structural studies.

Selective Monitoring of Rutin and Quercetin based on a Novel Multi-wall Carbon Nanotube-coated Glassy Carbon Electrode Modified with Microbial Carbohydrates α-Cyclosophorohexadecaose and Succinoglycan Monomer M3

  • Multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWNT)-modified glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) were prepared for simultaneous determination of rutin and quercetin. Microbial carbohydrates, $\alpha$-cyclosophorohexadecaose ($\alpha$-C16) and succinoglycan monomer M3 (M3) were doped into MWNTs to prepare a $\alpha$-C16-doped MWNT-modified GCE (($\alpha$-C16 + MWNTs)/GCE) and a M3-doped MWNT-modified GCE ((M3 + MWNTs)/GCE), respectively. The sensitivities of the ($\alpha$-C16 + MWNTs)/GCE to rutin and quercetin were 34.7 ${\mu}A\cdot{\mu}M^{-1}{\cdot}cm^{-2}$ and 18.3 ${\mu}A\cdot{\mu}M^{-1}{\cdot}cm^{-2}$, respectively, in a linear range of $2\sim8{\mu}M$ at pH 7.2. The sensitivities of the (M3 + MWNTs)/GCE was 2.44 ${\mu}A\cdot{\mu}M^{-1}{\cdot}cm^{-2}$ for rutin and 7.19 ${\mu}A\cdot{\mu}M^{-1}{\cdot}cm^{-2}$ for quercetin without interference.

The Analysis of Korean Traditional Color of Obangsak through Bibimbob color (비빔밥 색채를 통한 색채 범위 분석)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국의 전통음식 중의 하나인 비빔밥의 재료들의 색채 범위를 분석하여 메뉴북에 인쇄되어지는 재료별 색채범위를 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 과정을 통해 진행하였다. 먼저 한국의 전통음식에 근거한 비빔밥 사진과 레시피를 확정하였으며, 요리 전문 사진가를 통해 메뉴북에 가장 보기 좋게 인쇄되어질 수 있는 촬영 기준을 선정하였고, 위의 환경에서 비빔밥 사진을 촬영하였다. 세부적으로 3회 정도의 사진 촬영을 한 후 가장 좋은 상태의 사진을 선정하여 이 때 각 재료들의 색채 값을 측정하였다. 색채 범위 측정을 위해서 Lab 값과 CMYK 값을 적용하였는데, Lab 값은 밝기, 붉은색, 황색을 측정하는 값으로 육안으로 표현되어지는 색이며, CMYK 값은 메뉴 북에 인쇄되어지는 색의 값을 의미한다. 본 연구의 결과, 육안으로 보여지는 색깔과 메뉴북에 인쇄되어지는 값이 다르게 보여진다는 결과를 보였다. 최적 상태 각 재료별 인쇄 값은 다음과 같다. 청포묵은 C23 M5 Y8 K0였고, 호박은 C75 M24 Y100 K9였으며, 고사리 C64 M55 Y76 K55였다. 콩나물은 C38 M24 Y55 K1였고, 당근은 C12 M75 Y87 K2였으며, 표고버섯은 C45 M37 Y78 K11였다, 시금치는 C82 M44 Y100 K48였으며, 도라지는 C25 M5 Y24 K0였고, 계란은 C26 M19 Y100 K0였으며, 마지막으로 쇠고기는 C66 M5 Y72 K0였다.

Optimization for the Production of Mono- and Di-acylglycerols from Corn Oil by Enzymic Glycerolysis Using Response Surface Methodology (반응표면분석에 의한 옥수수유 유래 monoacylglycerol과 diacylglycerol 합성 조건의 최적화)

  • Response surface methodology was used to optimize production conditions of monoacylglycerol (MAG) and diacylglycerols (DAG) from corn oil by enzymic glycerolysis. Contents of $1,3-DAG\;(Y_1),\;1,2-DAG\;(Y_2),\;total\;DAG\;(Y_3),\;MAG\;(Y_4)$, and total $DAG+MAG\;(Y_5)$ were obtained. Conditions were optimized using central composite design with incubation temperature $(35-75^{\circ}C,\;X_1)$, incubation time (1-11 hr, $X_2$), and amount of hexane added (0-2 mL, $X_3$) as three variables. Content of 1,3-DAG was maximized by 20.43 area% at incubation temperature of $44.92^{\circ}C$, incubation time of 10.24 hr, and hexane content of 1.16 mL, whereas that of 1,2-DAG (26.78 area%) was maximized at $56.32^{\circ}C$, 6.95 hr, and 1.04 mL, respectively. Predicted maximum total DAG content was 45.09 area% at $53.82^{\circ}C$, 8.03 hr, and 1.08 mL, while production conditions of MAG (9.57 arae%) were $64.14^{\circ}C$, 7.00 hr, and 0.13 mL. At variables of $54.07^{\circ}C$, 7.98 hr, and 1.02 mL, maximum content of total DAG+MAG predicted by RSM was 53.54 area%.

  • 응고 및 마모거동을 연구하기 위하여 Cr, V, Mo 및 W의 조성이 다른 3종류의 백주철을 주조하였다. 고주파유도용해로에서 장입시켜 1873K까지 승온시켜 장입원료들을 모두 용해시킨 후 1823K에서 Y블럭주형에 주입하였다. 얻어진 3종류의 백주철조성은 다음과 같다: Fe-3%C-10%Cr-5%Mo-5%W(합금1), Fe-3%C-10%V-5%Mo-5%W(합금2) 및 Fe-3%C-17%Cr-3%V(합금 3)응고과정을 추적하기 위하여 각 시편으로부터 50g을 채취한 후 알루미나도가니에 넣고 실리콘카바이드로를 사용하여 1723K의 알콘분위기하에서 재용해를 시켰다. 용금을 10K/분의 속도로 냉각시키면서 열분석을 행하였으며 도중 몇 차례 소입 실험을 병행하였다.합금1의 경우 초정오스테나이트, (오스테나이트+$M_7C_3$)공정, (오스테나이트+$M_6C$)공정, 합금2의 경우 초정 MC, 초정오스테나이트, (오스테나이트+MC)공정 , (오스테나이트+$M_2C$)공정, 합금3의 경우 초정 $M7C_3$와 (오스테나이트+$M_7C_3$)공정으로 구성되어 있었다. 주방상태, 균질화열처러상태, 공냉상태, 템퍼링상태에서 내마모시험을 행하였다. 먼저 주방상태시 편을 진공분위기하에서 1223K에서 5시간동안 균질화열처리를 행한후 로냉을 시켰다. 다시 이 시편을 1323K에서 2시간 유지후 강제공냉을 시켰으며 강제공냉된 시편을 573K에서 3시간동안 템퍼링처리를 하였다. 내마모시험은 120 mesh마모지에 10N의 하중을 가하여 실시하였다. 각 사이클마다 무게감소를 측정하였으며 8번 반복실험을 하였다. 마모량은 균질화열처리시편, 주방상태시편, 템퍼링시편, 공냉시편의 순으로 감소하였다. 합금2가 마모량이 가장 적었으며 합금3이 가장 많았다. 합금2의 마모량이 가장 적은 이유는 조직이 초정 MC, 공정 MC 및 공정 M2C로 구성되어 있기 때문으로 사료된다.주방상태에서 기지조직은 퍼얼라이트이었으나 열처리를 통하여 마르텐사이트, 템퍼드마르텐사이트, 잔류오스테나이트로 변태하였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 MC가 내마모성에 가장 기여하는 조직으로 판단되어진다.

Molecular Cloning and Expression of cDNAs Encoding Mouse $Gal{\beta}$1,3(4)GlcNAc ${\alpha}$2,3-Sialyltransferase (mST3Gal III) and $Gal{\beta}$1,4(3)GlcNAc ${\alpha}$2,3-Sialyltransferase (mST3GaI IV)

  • Two kinds of cDNA encoding mouse $Gal{\beta}$1,3(4)GlcNAc ${\alpha}$2,3-sialyltransferase (mST3Gal III) and $Gal{\beta}$1,4(3)GlcNAc ${\alpha}$2,3-sialyltransferase (mST3Gal IV) were isolated from mouse brain cDNA library by means of a PCR-based approach. The cDNA sequences included an open reading frame coding for proteins of 374 and 333 amino acids, respectively, and the primary structure of these enzymes suggested a putative domain structure consisting of four regions, like that in other glycosyltransferases. The deduced amino acid sequences of mST3GaI III and IV showed a 98% and 89% identity with rat ST3GaI III and human ST3Gal IV, respectively. Northern analysis indicated that the expression of mST3Gal III mRNA was abundant in heart, liver and adult brain, while that of mST3GaI IV mRNA was detected in all tissues tested except for testis, but the level was the highest in liver. Soluble forms of mST3GaI III and IV transiently expressed in COS cells exhibited enzyme activity toward acceptor substrates containing the terminal either $Gal{\beta}$1,3GlcNAc or $Gal{\beta}$1,4GlcNAc sequences. The substrate preferences of both enzymes were stronger for tetrasaccharides than for disaccharides.

  • In this study, the application results of high volume fly ash concrete(HVFAC) on the construction site were reported. The structures were the mat foundations of 3m and 2m thickness with design strength of 40MPa. The replacement ratio of fly ash was 50%, and the pre-mix type binder was used. As a result, it appeared that the temperature increases of concrete foundations were about $39^{\circ}$C for 3m thickness and $36^{\circ}$C for 2m thickness.

The Isolation of Bacillus sphaericus 366M-9 Producing New Cephalosporin-C Deacetylase (CAH) and its Enzymatic Characterization (신규 Cephalosporin-C Deacetylase(CAH) 생산 균주인 Bacillus sphaericus 366M-9의 선발 및 그 효소학적 특성)

  • Several microorganisms (esterase-producing group) were isolated by the solid selective media containing-naphtylacetate. Among them, strain 366M-9 having a high activity of cephalosporin-C deacetylase (CAH; EC 3.1.1.41) was selected. The strain 366M-9 was identified as Bacillus sphaericus on the basis of morphological, physiological, and biochemical characteristics. The production of CAH reached at maximum value after 32 hrs, when cultivated in the optimal medium containing dextrin 2.5%, peptone 2.5%, sodium chloride 0.5%, dipotassium phosphate 0.25%, ferrous sulfate 0.02%, and 7-ACA 0.1% at $30^{\circ}C$ with initial pH 6.0. The CAH was purified by 3 steps with ammonium sulfate precipitation, adsorption chromatography on hydroxyapatite column, and Sephadex G-200 gel chromatography. The final enzyme preparation was homogeneous as judged by the analysis of SDS-PAGE and HPLC. Optimum temperature and pH for CAH activity were $50{\circ}C$ and around 7.0, respectively. And the enzyme was stable at pH 6.0~8.0, up to $50^{\circ}C$. The Michaelis-Menten constants ($K_{m}$ ), $V_{max}$ were 0.87 mM and 1.22 unit/ml, respectively.

The effect of aging on the Microstructure and Hardness of Stellite 12 alloy overlayer by PTA process (PTA법에 의한 스텔라이트 12합금 육성층의 미세조직 및 경도에 미치는 시효처리의 영향)

  • Stellite 12 alloy-powders were overlaid on 410 stainless steel valve seat by plasma transferred arc(PTA)process. Variation of microstructure and hardness of overlaid deposit with aging time at $750^{\circ}C$ was investigated. The deposit showed hypoeutectic microstructure, which was consisting of primary cobalt dendrite and networked $M_{7}C_{3}$type eutectic carbides. After aging new M_{23}C_{6}$ carbide was formed by the partial decomposition of $M_7C_3$ type eutectic carbides and finely dispersed $M_{23}C_6$ type carbides were also precipitated in the matrix. Hardness of the deposit was increased with increase of aging time at $750^{\circ}C$ and showed maximum value at 35hours. After showing maximum value, it was fallen down again at 70hours because of overaging. The increase of hardness in aging is ascribed to the formation of new stable $M_{23}C_6$ type carbide by the partial decomposition of $M_7C_3$ type eutectic carbides and also precipitation of finely dispersed $M_{23}C_6$ carbides in matrix.
