MCFC용 Steam Reformer 개질성능 분석 및 운전평가 (The Performance & Operation Analysis of a Steam Reformer for MCFC)

  • This paper is concerned with the performence of a steam reformer for 25kW class MCFC, which is compared with the theoretically calculated results at various operating conditions. The theoretical $H_2$ production amount and $CH_4$ conversion rate are calculated with variations of temperature and steam/carbon (S/C) ratio using fortran program, and the actual values are measured from flowmeter and gas chromatography. As a result of the comparison of theoretical and actual values, the theoretical $H_2$ production amount is calculated by $24.4m^3/hr$ at the normal operating condition(LNG $9m^3/hr$, S/C ratio 5, absolute pressure $2.77kg/cm^2$, $610^{\circ}C$), but the actual production amount is only $19.4m^3/hr$, which is 79.5% of the theoretical value. Nevertheless, at the normal operating condition, the reformer for 25kW class MCFC performed well for a 2,100 hr long run operation, constantly producing $H_2$.

Streptomyces griseoplanus SL20209에 의한 Aminopeptidase M 저해제의 생산 조건

  • Maximum amount of the aminopeptidase M inhibitors produced by Streptomyces griseoplanus SL20209 in 500 ml-Erlenmeyer flask was accumulated after cultivation for 3 days at 28$\circ$C, thereafter the amount of inhibitors decreased slowly with a pH change to alkaline. Arabinose, xylose, mannose and soluble starch were good carbon sources for the production of the inhibitors. On the other hand, glucose was only good for the cell growth but potently inhibited the production of inhibitors. Natural organic nitrogen sources such as soybean meal, fish meal, gluten meal and peanut powder were good for the production of inhibitors, however, soytone, peptone and inorganic nitrogens such as NH$_{4}$C1 and NH$_{4}$NO$_{3}$ were poor. Inclusion of yeast extract (0.5%, w/v) or K$_{2}$HPO$_{4}$ (0.05%) into the production medium increased the production of inhibitors by accelerating cell growth. The production of inhibitors was slightly increased on the medium containing CaCO$_{3}$ (0.3%) and zeolite (0.5%), respectively. Optimal temperature and initial pH range for the production ot inhibitors were determined to be 28$\circ$C and 6.0-7.0, respectively. Employing two improved production media consisting of 3% arabinose or soluble starch, 2.5% soybean meal, 0.5% yeast extract, 0.05% K$_{2}$HP0$_{4}$, 0.1% CaCO$_{3}$ and 0.3% zeolite (pH 6.8), 1.8-fold increase in the amount of inhibitors was achieved, comparing with the basal medium used.

가연성 폐기물의 가스화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Gasification of Combustible Waste)

  • This study was investigated to the energy recovery by the pyrolysis of waste tyre. the pyrolysis of the waste tyre was made by using the pyrolysis chamber for the gasification and the combustion chamber for the combustion of the pyrolysis gas. In batch system, the amount of waste tyre was put 150kg in the pyrolysis chamber and the proper air flow rate for the stable production of the pyrolysis gas was 0.95Nm$^{3}$ /min. the production time of the pyrolysis gas was stable above 210minutes, and the stable production rate was above 3.8Nm$^{3}$ /min. The production temperature of pyrolysis gas was 170$^{\circ}$C and combustion temperature of pyrolysis gas was 1,000$^{\circ}$C. The combustible component of washing gas in pyrolysis gas of waste tyre was CO, CH$_{4}$, $C_{2}H_{6}$ and $C_{3}H_{8}$, and total amount was 22.7%. Heat value of condensed material was 9,804Kcal/kg. The average concentration of air pollutants between cyclone and scrubber was CO 420.4ppm, SO$_{x}$ 349.8ppm. NO$_{x}$ 68.Sppm, HCl 24.4ppm and Dust 240.0g / Nm$^{3}$, respectively.

Assessment of gas production and electrochemical factors for fracturing flow-back fluid treatment in Guangyuan oilfield

  • Electrochemical method was used for the fracturing flow-back fluid treatment in Guangyuan oilfield. After performing electrolysis, we found that the amount of $H_2$ gas produced by electrode was closely related to the combination mode of electrodes and electrode materials. Using an aluminium electrode resulted in a large $H_2$ production of each electrode combination, whereas inert anode and cathode materials resulted in low $H_2$ production. Then, the relationship between the gas production of $H_2$ and the treatment efficiency of fracturing flow-back fluid in Guangyuan oilfield was studied. Results showed that the turbidity removal and decolourisation rates of fracturing flow-back fluid were high when $H_2$ production was high. If the $H_2$ production of inert electrode was large, the energy consumption of this inert electrode was also high. However, energy consumption when an aluminium anode material was used was lower than that when the inert electrode was used, whereas the corresponding electrode combination production of $H_2$ was larger than that of the inert electrode combination. When the inert electrode was used as anode, the gas production type was mainly $O_2$, and $Cl_2$ was also produced and dissolved in water to form $ClO^-$. $H_2$ production at the cathode was reduced because $ClO^-$ obtained electrons.

  • A Bunsen reaction section is a primary stage of Sulfur-iodine thermochemical hydrogen production cycle. This section is important, because it decides the efficiency of next stages. In order to produce hydrogen very efficiently, the characteristics of Bunsen reaction were investigated via two experimental methods. The one is a phase separation of $H_2SO_4-HI-H_2O-I_2$ mixture system, and the other is a direct Bunsen reaction. The characteristics of each method were investigated and compared. As the result of this study, the amount of HI and $I_2$ in $H_2SO_4$ phase via Bunsen reaction was more decreased than that via $H_2SO_4-HI-H_2O-I_2$ mixture system with increasing $I_2$ concentration. However, the amount of $H_2SO_4$ in $HI_x$ phase via Bunsen reaction was remarkably increased with increasing $I_2$ concentration, while that via $H_2SO_4-HI-H_2O-I_2$ mixture system was decreased. On the other hand, the range of initial composition which is able to separate into two liquid phases without $I_2$ solidification was almost alike.

  • Anaerobiospirillum succiniciproducens에 의한 유기산 생성에 미치는 pH의 영향을 조사하기 위하여 발효 배양액의 pH를 5.8, 6.0, 6.4, 6.8, 7.2로 유지하여 혐기 발효 실험을 수행하였다. 세포 농도는 여러 pH 조건에서 $1.0∼1.9g/\ell$로 다른 연구자들의 결과와 비교할 때 2~3 배 정도 더 높았으며 pH 5.8에서 가장 높았다. pH 6.0 ~ 6.8의 범위에서 기질 소모량은 pH가 높을수록 증가였으며 반면에 pH 5.8과 7.2에서의 당 소비 속도는 매우 느렸다. 유기산 생성으로 인한 pH 변화의 조절을 위 하여 첨가된 2M $Na_2C0_3$의 총량은 pH 6.8에서 최대였다. 여러 pH조건에서 발효액의 전기전도도의 변화는 첨가된 2M $Na_2C0_3$의 변화와 매우 유사한 경향을 보였고 따라서 발효액내의 유기산의 정량은 전기전도도를 측정 함으로 구할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. pH 7.2의 조건에서 기질에 대한 lactatedml chleo todtks tndbfdms 64%, pH6.8의 경우 32% 였다.

내열성 extracellular lipase 생산을 위한 Geobacillus kaustophilus DSM 7263의 배양조건 (Culture Conditions of Geobacillus kaustophilus DSM 7263 for Production of Thermophilic Extracellular Lipase)

  • 고온성 균주로 알려진 Geobacillus 속의 다양한 균주로부터 내열성 extracellular lipase를 생산하는 G. kaustophilus DSM 7263를 선별하였다. 우리는 본 균주로부터 lipase를 대량생산하기 위한 최적 조건을 조사하였다. 배양 배지에 다양한 천연오일을 첨가한 결과, lipase의 최적 생장을 위한 탄소원으로는 0.5% 올리브 오일이 최적 조건으로 확인되었다. 본 균주의 생장을 위한 최적온도와 pH는 각각 $55^{\circ}C$와 8.0인 반면, lipase 생산을 위한 최적 온도와 pH는 각각 $50^{\circ}C$와 6.0을 나타내어 최적생육조건과는 다른 양상을 나타내었다. 금속이온에 대한 영향에 대해서는 배지에 $Mg^{2+}$$Mn^{2+}$을 첨가한 경우 각각 247%와 157%의 효소 생산이 증가한 반면, $Co^{2+}$, $Fe^{2+}$, $Ni^{2+}$, $Cu^{2+}$는 효소 생산을 저해 하였다. 또한 0.1% (v/v) triton X-100을 첨가하면 대조구에 비해 효소생산과 균의 생장이 모두 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The Sulfur-Iodine(SI) thermochemical hydrogen production process consists of three sections, which are so called the Bunsen reaction section, the $H_2SO_4$ decomposition section and the HI decomposition section. In order to identify the phase separation characteristics in the reaction conditions with the high solubility of $SO_2$, we conducted the Bunsen reaction at the low temperatures, ranging from 283 to 298K, with the $I_2/H_2O$ molar ratios of 2.5/16.0 and 3.5/16.0. The molar ratios of HI/$H_2SO_4$ products obtained from low temperature Bunsen reactions were ca. 2, indicating that there were no side reactions. The amount of reacted $SO_2$ was increased with decreasing the temperature, while the amounts of unreacted $I_2$ and $H_2O$ were decreased. In the phase separation of the products, the amount of a $H_2SO_4$ impurity in $HI_x$ phase was increased with decreasing the temperature, though the temperature has little affected on HI and $I_2$ impurities in $H_2SO_4$ phase.

  • 24 samples which were incoulated with Aspergillus flavus and Bcillus subtilis and cultured on the steamed soybean media under various conditions-pH, moisture and temperature were-investigated on the production of aflatoxin by the interaction of these two microorganisms. 1) The amount of aflatoxin produced by mixed cultures of Aspergillus flavus and Bacillus subtilis was decreased significantly rather than that of single cultures of Aspergillus flavus. 2) Maximum production of crude aflatoxin was 2,560 ppm $(B_1,\;0.908\;ppm;\;B_2,\;0.261\;ppm;\;G_1,\;1.162\;ppm;\;G_2,\;0.229\;ppm)$ at 30% moisture, pH 5.0 and $20^{\circ}C$, whereas minimum production was 1.107 ppm $(B_1,\;0.341\;ppm;\;B_2,\;0.104\;ppm;\;G_1,\;532\;ppm;\;G_2,\;0.130\;ppm)$ at 63% moisture, pH 9.0 and $40^{\circ}C$.

형질전환된 담배 세포 현탁배양을 이용한 hGM-CSF 생산에서 ultrasound가 미치는 영향

  • 본 연구에서는 hGM-CSF를 생산하는 형질전환된 담배세포배양에서 ultrasound가 세포생장과 hGM-CSF 생산에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 세포의 생장은 ultrasound에 노출된 직후 약간의 저해를 보이지만 2일후에 정상의 세포와 비슷한 수준으로 회복되었다. 세포 외부로 분비되는 hGM-CSF는 ultrasound에 노출된 직후 증가하고 그 이후 감소하다 배양후반에 증가를 보였다. 세포내부에서 생산되는 hGM-CSF는 ultrasound 처리 이후 전반적으로 대조구보다 많이 생산됨을 보였다. 총 생산된 hGM-CSF는ultrasound에 노출 시킨 배양 6일째 $34.9\;{\mu}g/L$로 최대였으며 대조구보다 31.5%의 증가를 보였다.
