  • Recently, It has performed that the basic research of the photoconductive material and the development and application of the digital radiograph detector which is divided into the direct and indirect method. The objective of this study investigate the effect of the electric characteristic about changing the composition of Arsenic in hybrid detector system for compensating a defect of conventional. We fabricated samples using the amorphous Selenium and Arsenic alloy with various concentrations of the Arsenic{seven step 0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 3%, 5%). And using EFIRON optical adhesives the formed multi-layer$(Gd_{2}O_{2}S(Eu^{2+}))$ composed phosphor layer. X-ray and light sensitivity was measured to study x-ray response characteritics. As results, highest value was measured as output net charge and SNR were $315.7pC/cm^2/mR$ and 99.4 at 0.3%As doping ratio.

Magnetic and Magnetocaloric Properties of (Gd1-xCex)Al2(x = 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75) Compounds

  • The magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of $Gd_{1-x}Ce_xAl_2$ (x = 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75) intermetallic compounds alloys have been investigated in detail for the first time. XRD patterns indicated that all the samples were crystallized in a single phase with $MgCu_2$-type structure (Laves phase). Ce substitution for Gd increased the lattice parameters and decreased the Curie temperature from 163 K for x = 0 to 37 K for x = 0.75. A maximum entropy change of 3.82 J/kg K was observed when a 2 T magnetic field was applied to the x = 0 sample. This entropy change decreased with increasing Ce content to 2.04 J/kg K for the x = 0.75 sample.

  • The stability issue of high temperature superconducting (HTS) racetrack coils is one of the most important factors for the development of large-scale rotating machines, such as ship propulsion motors and power generators. However, The stability and normal zone propagation characteristics of HTS racetrack pancake (RP) coils are not sufficient yet. In this study, quench tests for a GdBCO racetrack pancake coil were carried out under the condition of $LN_2$ at 77 K. Minimum quench energy and two-dimensional normal zone propagation velocities of the coil are also discussed. Normal zone propagation velocity in the coil's curved section is faster than in its straight section due to stress effects. The test results show that the protection of the straight section is of greater importance than that of the curved section when GdBCO racetrack pancake coils are applied to large-scale rotating machines.

La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ 공기극과 Sc이 도핑된 지르코니아 전해질 사이에 삽입한 Gd0.1Ce0.9O2-δ 중간층이 고체산화물 연료전지의 전기화학적 성능에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Gd0.1Ce0.9O2-δ Interlayer between La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ Cathode and Sc-doped Zirconia Electrolyte on the Electrochemical Performance of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells)

  • The optimal fabrication conditions for $Gd_{0.1}Ce_{0.9}O_{2-{\delta}}$(GDC) buffer layer and $La_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}Co_{0.2}Fe_{0.8}O_{3-{\delta}}$ (LSCF) cathode on 1mol% $CeO_2-10mol%\;Sc_2O_3$ stabilized $ZrO_2$ (CeScSZ) electrolyte were investigated for application of IT-SOFCs. GDC buffer layer was used in order to prevent undesired chemical reactions between LSCF and CeScSZ. These experiments were carried out with $5{\times}5cm^2$ anode supported unit cells to investigate the tendencies of electrochemical performance, Microstructure development and interface reaction between LSCF/GDC/CeScSZ along with the variations of GDC buffer layer thickness, sintering temperatures of GDC and LSCF were checked, respectively. Electrochemical performance was analyzed by DC current-voltage measurement and AC impedance spectroscopy. Microstructure and interface reaction were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). Although the interfacial reaction between these materials could not be perfectly inhibited, We found that the cell, in which $6{\mu}m$ GDC interlayer sintered at $1200^{\circ}C$ and LSCF sintered at $1000^{\circ}C$ were applied, showed good interfacial adhesions and effective suppression of Sr, thereby resulting in fairly good performance with power density of $0.71W/cm^2$ at $800^{\circ}C$ and 0.7V.

Structure Study of Polycrystalline $Na_3YSi_3O_9$ and Its Substitutes Related to $Na_4CaSi_3O_9,\;Ca_3Al_2O_6$ Structure

  • The study of the $Na_3YSi_3O_9$ structure, by x-ray diffraction and infrared spectrum, showed that $Na_3YSi_3O_9$ is similar to $Na_4CaSi_3O_9$ except for its being pseudo-cubic instead of cubic. The peaks in the x-ray diffraction pattern of $Na_3YSi_3O_9$ could therefore be indexed on the basis of the $Na_4CaSi_3O_9$ cell. Also, modified $Na_3MSi_3O_9$ (M = Lu, Yb, Tm, Er, Y, Ho, Dy, Gd, Eu, and Sm) type compounds were synthesized by introducing excess sodium, decreasing M(III) concentration, and substituting small amount of phosphorus for silicon. The unit cell parameters of the composition $Na_{3.2}M_{0.7}Si_{2.9}P_{0.1}O_{8.7}$ were estimated from x-ray powder diffraction patterns using the Cohen method.

  • 활성화된 $Mn(IV)O_2$를 이용하여 2,6-bis(hydroxymethyl)-4-methylphenol로부터 2,6-diformyl-p-cresol과 2-hydroxy-3-hydroxymethyl-5-methylbenzaldehyde를 제조하였다. 2-hydroxy-3-hydroxymethyl-5-methylbenzaldehyde와 ethylenediamine 및 1,3-diaminopropane의 축합반응에 의해 6-배위 칸막이 리간드, $H_4L[A]와\; H_4L[B]$를 각각 얻었다. methanol에서 2,6-diformyl-p-cresol과 1,2-diaminobenzene으로부터 부분적으로 환원된 거대고리, $H_4[20]DOTA$를 얻을 수 있었다. 이 $H_4[20]DOTA$와 lanthanide(IlI) nitrate 간의 반응 또는 methanol에서 주형과정(template procedure)에 의해 일핵 착물, $[Ln(IIl)(H_2[20]DOTA)(ClO_4)(H_2O)]\;{\cdot}\;3H_2O과\; [Ln([20]DOTA)(NO_3)(H_2O)](NO_3)_2\;{\cdot}\;xH_2O$를 각각 합성하였다. $[Ln([20]DOTA)(NO_3)(H_2O)](NO_3)_2\;{\cdot}\;xH_2O$를 2일 정도 methanol에 정치함으로써 얻은 $[Ln([20]DOTA)(NO_3)(CH_3OH)]^{2+}$에서 배위된 $CH_3OH$이 주게원자가 O인 보조리간드, $L_a$(=salicylic acid, p-chlorobenzoic acid, benzoic acid, acetic acid, 4-bromophenol)에 의해 치환될 때 평형상수 (K)를 25$^{\circ}C$, ${\mu}$=0.1M $NaClO_4$에서 분광학적 방법으로 결정하였다. 이 때 평형상수(K) 값들은 보조리간드 pKa 크기의 반대 경향인 salicylic acid>p-chlorobenzoic acid>benzoic acid>acetic acid>4-bromophenol 순서로 나타났다.

Characterization of a LSCF/GDC Cathode Composite in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells Using Impedance Spectroscopy

  • A composite cathode of LSCF$(La_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}Co_{0.2}Fe_{0.8}O_3)\;and\;GDC\; (Gd_2O_3-doped\;CeO_2:Ce_{0.9}Gd_{0.1}O_{1.95_})$ was characterized in terms of an electrode response, using a point contact in an Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ) electrolyte incorporated into AC two-point impedance spectroscopy. The point-contacted configuration amplifies the responses occurring near the YSZ/cathode interface through the aligned point contact on the planar LSCF/GDC electrode. The point contact interface increases the bulk resistance allowing the estimation of the point contact geometry and resolving the electrode-related responses. The resultant impedance spectra are analyzed through an equivalent circuit model constructed by resistors and constant phase elements. The bulk responses can be resolved from the electrode-related portions in terms of spreading resistance. The electrode-related polarizations are measured in terms of temperature and oxygen partial pressure. The modified impedance spectroscopy is discussed in terms of methodology and analytical aspects, toward resolving the electrode-polarization issues in solid oxide fuel cells.

거대고리 아자크라운화합물과 전이금속 및 란탄족금속이온의 착물의 안정도 (The Stability Constant of Transition and Lanthanide Metal Ions Complexes with 15 Membered Macrocyclic Azacrown Ligands)

  • 새로운 아자크라운 화합물인, 1,4-dioxa-7,10,13-triazacyclopentadecane-N,N',N''-triacetic acid, $N-ac_3[15]aneN_3O_2(II_a)$과 1,4-dioxa-7,10,13-triazacyclopentadecane-N,N',N''-tripropioc acid, $N-pr_3$[15]ane$N_3O_2(II_b)$는 이와 유사한 화합물의 합성방법을 수정하여 합성하였다. 합성된 이 아자크라운 화합물, $N-ac_3[15]aneN_3O_2와\;N-pr_3[15]aneN_3O_2$의 양성자화 상수값은 전위차법을 이용하여 PKAS 프로그램으로부터 측정되어졌다. 그리고 0.1 M $NaClO_4$수용액으로 이온강도를 조절하고, $25{\pm}0.1^{\circ}C$에서 란탄족금속인, $Ce^{3+},\;Eu^{3+},\;Gd^{3+}$$Yb^{3+}$과 리간드인 $N-ac_3[15]$ane$N_3O_2$$N-pr_3[15]aneN_3O_2$의 착물의 안정도상수를 전위차법을 이용하여 BEST 프로그램으로부터 구하였고, 또한 위와 같은 조건에서 전이금속인 $Co^{2+}$, $Ni^{2+}$, $Cu^{2+}$$Zn^{2+}$와 리간드인, $N-ac_3[15]aneN_3O_2$$N-pr_3[15]aneN_3O_2$의 착물의 안정도상수 값도 전위차법을 이용하여 BEST 프로그램으로부터 측정하였다. 합성된 아자크라운 화합물과 골격구조가 유사하고 아세트산과 프로피온산기를 포함하는, 1,7-dioxa-4,10,13-triazacyclopentadecane-N,N',N''-triacetic acid과 1,7-dioxa-4,10,13-triazacyclopentadecane-N,N',N''-tripropioc acid의 착물의 안정도를 비교분석하였다.

추출 크로마토그래피를 이용한 고순도 테르븀의 분리 (Separation of High Purity Terbium Using Extraction Chromatography)

  • 추출 크로마토그래피를 이용하여 고순도 테르븀의 선택적 분리를 시도하였다. 고정상으로 2-ethylhexyl-2-ethylhexyl phosphonic acid(HEH[EHP]) 추출수지(-100~+150 mesh), 컬럼은 ${\Phi}20{\times}530mm$를 사용하고 온도는 $50^{\circ}C$로 유지하고, 흡착 유속은 $0.2mL/cm^2{\cdot}min$, 용출유속은 $1.0mL/cm^2{\cdot}min$, 컬럼의 높이와 직경의 비는 1:15로 하였다. 용리액의 산도, 시료의 부하량 및 시료의 조성을 변화시켜 테르븀의 분리의 최적조건을 설정하였다. 그 결과, 산도는 0.6 N HCl, 부하량은 약 5%, 시료의 조성은 $Gd_2O_3(20%)+Tb_4O_7(60%)+Dy_2O_3(20%)$이었다. 그리고, ICP-AES로 테르븀의 분리수율을 구한 결과 99.99% 이었고 순도는 99.98%이었다.
