Abstract
Two pinnotherid crabs, Pinnixa penultipedalis and Sakaina japonica, collected from Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, South Korea, are newly recorded in Korea. These two species are unique representatives of their respective genera in local waters. The family Pinnotheridae currently comprises nine species in Korea. In this article, brief descriptions and illustrations of selected parts of these crabs are provided as evidence for their correct identifications.
