Abstract
The effects of LED irradiation on growth and functional components of crops are actively being studied. We investigated the effects of red LED on the cordyceps cultivation because Cordyceps is very difficult to find in the wild and to cultivation. The synnemata formation rate of P. tenuipes was 100% under red LED. Also weight, length, and number of the synnemata were significantly increased. We expect that the red LED treatment will be of help to improve farm income.
