Factors Influencing Sexual Assertiveness of Women College Students

The purpose of this study was conducted to investigate the factors influencing sexual assertiveness of women college students for providing the basic data to develop sexual education program. The data were collected from 265 women college students in B city from April 2 to 18, 2014 and analyzed with t-test and multiple regression by using SPSS 21.0 program. The significant factors of sexual assertiveness were intercourse experience (${\beta}=.179$, p=.001), gender role stereotypes (${\beta}=-.302$, p<.001), sexual double standard (${\beta}=-.118$, p=.043), self-assertiveness (${\beta}=.218$, p<.001). And these factors explained 26.1% of the variance in sexual assertiveness. In conclusion, the results from this study indicated a need to develop the effective sexual education program considering these influencing factors for women college students.

여대생의 성적 자기주장에 영향을 미치는 요인

본 연구는 여대생의 성적 자기주장에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하여 효과적인 성 건강관리 프로그램 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상자는 여대생 265명으로 자료는 2014년 4월 2일부터 4윌 18일까지 수집되었으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 이용하여 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 여대생의 성적 자기주장에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성경험 유무, 성역할 고정관념, 성 이중기준, 자기주장으로 나타났으며 이러한 요인들은 여대생의 성적 자기주장을 26.1%설명하였다. 즉, 성경험이 없을수록(${\beta}=.179$, p=.001), 성역할 고정관념 수준이 낮을수록(${\beta}=-.302$, p<.001), 성 이중기준 수준이 낮을수록(${\beta}=-.118$, p=.043), 자기주장 수준이 높을수록(${\beta}=.218$, p<.001) 여대생의 성적 자기주장 수준이 높은 것으로 예측되었다. 따라서 여대생의 성적 자기주장에 영향을 미치는 중재 변인이 고려된 성교육 프로그램을 개발하여 적용함으로써 여대생의 성 건강증진을 위한 체계적인 관리가 요구된다.
