The Effect of Learning Mentoring Program on Self-esteem and Adjustment to College Life

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of learning mentoring program on self-esteem and adjustment to college life. The subjects were college students who had assigned to an experimental group (45) and a control group (40). To obtain the data, conducted pre-test and post -test. To analyze data, t-test, ANCOVA were executed. The results were as follows. First, learning mentoring program affected significantly on improvement of experimental group's self-esteem. Second, learning mentoring program affected significantly on improvement of experimental group's academic adaptation, social adaptation, but emotional adaptation was not. As a result, it was found that the learning mentoring program was effective, and suggestions were presented based on these research results.
