Abstract
In these days, the wired and wireless broadband network is becoming a common access network. The consumption of multimedia contents has rapidly increased according to increase of the smart device which is supported the function of wired/wireless communication and multimedia replay. The multimedia consumption environment is changed the broadcasting communication service market as follows; first, the content provider is changed from broadcasting service operator to anyone who has contents. Second, the importance of N-screen service is increased, for which supportis anytime anywhere services. In this paper, we proposed the design and implementation of video gateway based N-screen broadcasting platform system which is supported variety of service by cable SO (Service Operator) using HFC (Hybrid Faber and Coaxial) network as rapidly changing market environment. The proposed method has an advantage which is supported N-screen service without additional establishment of broadcasting transmission and network equipment.
