Abstract
This paper describes an iOS-based framework technology that supports constructing three dimensional graphics contents that can actively alter the visual elements of the gaming environments based on the user's emotion. The contents built with the framework allows users to inject their own 3d character models called emotional characters into the gaming environments and change the visual representations of the characters as their emotional states varies. This framework distinguishes nine different emotional states by analyzing the user's physiological signals and shows the emotional states through the emotional characters. This technology can be used for the research that studies how changes in visual and aural elements of the contents would affect the user's emotional states. In this paper, the design and implementation of the new framework will be discussed. A 3D mobile content as well as a couple of games developed with the framework will also be described.
