Distribution Pattern of Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. Community by Ordination Method in Southern Coast of Korea

Abstract
In order to evaluate the status of growth and distribution pattern, we analyzed growing aspect and geographical distribution of Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. community by the method of DCA ordination Method. Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. growing with Miscanthus sinensis Ander. and Carex boottiana Hook. et Arno. was distributed widely from inland to near the coastal areas, while Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. growing with Lysimachia mauritiana Lam. and Rosa wichuraiana Crep. was inhabiting in the areas of dry and sunny places. In the factor analysis of native plant species, Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. growing with Miscanthus sinensis Ander. and Carex boottiana Hook. et Arno. was distributed widely in Geomundo, Chujado and around Jeju appendage islands, whereas Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. growing with Lysimachia mauritiana Lam. and Rosa wichuraiana Crep. was inhabiting in Jeju island, Haenam, Sacheon, Goheung coastal areas. Native growing of Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. was good in gentle decline to the coastal areas compared to inland areas on the whole.
