Abstract
Increased in vehicles and developed subcenter have caused the traffic congestions in the roads. Great depth underground double-deck tunnel has been designed to solve this problem, which is mainly only for the compact cars with low height and small cross section. There is a possibility of the damage for humans in case of fire in the tunnels. Therefore, the study, the delay effect of the fire smoke diffusion in accordance with the tunnel block area for the development of the delay system for fire smoke diffusion as a method of minimum of the damage for humans in case of fire in the tunnels has been analyzed. In case the delay system for fire smoke diffusion runs, the larger block area increased the delay of smoke diffusion up to 600 seconds and it is expected that the larger block, in turn, will increase the reduction efficiency of the damage for humans.
