A Study On Information Classification Systems For Civil Construction

It is very important to improve the overall efficiency in exchanging construction information among project Parties from the project set-up through the project completion. However, each government agency in Korea tendering construction projects has different structures in classifying information. This results in inefficiency of overall construction projects and cost increasing. This requires establishing a new construction information classification system. This research suggests a framework for an analysis of a standard classification system in setting up a standard classification system and in evaluating its applicability to business processes. According to the identified requirements of the classification system, this research analyzes and compares existing information classification systems such as Uniclass, Uniformat, and Korean Standard Classification System of Construction Information, and then identifies problems and approaches for the improvement.

토목공사 정보분류체계에 관한 연구

최근 건설업은 건설 프로젝트의 계획에서부터 해체에 이르기까지 프로젝트 전 과정에서 생성되고 사용되는 다양한 정보를 효과적으로 공유하고 활용하기 위한 일관된 방법이 요구되고 있다. 그러나 각 기관마다 정보분류체계의 상이성으로 인하여 정보의 재생산 및 교환에 많은 비용을 소비하고 있다. 이러한 비효율을 개선하기 위해 체계적이고 통일된 건설정보분류체계의 구축이 필요하여 그 동안 국내외에서 건설정보분류체계에 대한 연구가 있었으나 대부분이 건축공사를 위주로 진행되어 토목공사를 위한 정보분류체계의 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 최근 건설교통부에서 국내 건설정보분류체계를 정비하고 외국의 분류체계를 참조하여 토목 건축 모두 활용가능 한 건설정보 표준분류체계를 공시하였으나 분류체계 자체의 논리성 및 현업활용성에 대한 검증이 필요한 상태이다. 본 연구는 국내표준으로서의 표준분류체계를 분석하고 검증하기 위하여 분류체계의 분석기준을 설정하고, 분류체계가 갖추어야 할 논리성 및 요구조건에 따라 외국의 대표적인 분류체계인 Uniclass 및 Uniformat과의 비교분석을 통하여 문제점을 도출하여 개선방안을 제시하였다.
