Abstract
Most of the buildings are built with RC structures. Since much of the construction cost of the RC structure is the cost of rebars, the calculation of the correct amount of rebar is essential for predicting the construction costs. In addition, it is necessary to analyze the effects of the application of seismic reinforcement details on the volume of rebars by analyzing changes in the amount of rebars before and after the application of seismic reinforcement details. The purpose of this study is to calculate and compare the exact amount of rebar before and after the application of seismic reinforcement details to columns, beams, and walls using BIM to provide quantitative data of the variation of rebar volume according to the application of seismic reinforcement details.
