The Study on Description about Application of 3D Scandata for the Survey Report of Wooden Architectural Heritage

The purpose of this study was to analyze the description about the use of 3D scandata in the survey report of wooden architectural heritage. The 3D scandata is used for the survey drawing in survey report because of its accuracy. But some report does not any description about the 3D scandata or most of report have just little description about the 3D scandata. Even if all of basic survey materials have each different limitations and accuracy, the report does not describe about these problem. Especially, 3D scandata has own characteristics that are not able to be represented by the survey report. And there is not established the using system of 3D scandata, for example, the task order of clients, the structure of the survey report and drawing system. So reader can not get accurate information from the report. So this study proposes to the way of description about use of 3D scandata for survey report of wooden architectural heritage and provides the change for description structure of survey report. At first, the report has to make both by paper and electronic document. Second, the report by paper has the summary content and outcome like present system. But it has to contain the summary description about the use of 3D scandata. The electronic report has contents that is described the process and limitation and worksheet and 3D scandata so on.
