Analysing the narrative structure in the contents of Media facade

The Media facade is valuing more than utilizing to the display space and has potential as a new urban culture. The possible role of the contents, which can be a variety of expression can be seen that the more importance. Using narrative structure, which is a component of the story, discourse, temporality, spatiality, to analyze to the contents of media façade and this study suggests that new contents of narrative is an appropriate utilization at the new media environment.

미디어 파사드 콘텐츠에 나타나는 서사 구조에 대한 연구 - 서울스퀘어의 정규 콘텐츠를 중심으로

디지털 영상문화와 새로운 기술의 발전으로 미디어를 활용해 건축물의 벽면을 디스플레이 공간으로 활용하는 미디어 파사드는 현대 도시 공간을 시각적, 예술적인 표현 요소들로 연출하고 있다. 미디어 파사드는 디스플레이 공간으로 활용되는 것 이상으로 많은 가치와 새로운 도시 문화로서의 가능성을 가지고 있다. 따라서 다양한 표현과 정보의 전달이 가능한 미디어 파사드 콘텐츠의 역할은 그만큼 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 미디어 파사드와 서사에 대한 이론적 고찰을 시작으로 미디어 파사드에 적합한 콘텐츠의 특성을 파악해 미디어 파사드의 적절한 활용 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 서사 구조의 구성요소인 이야기, 담론, 시간성, 공간성 차원에서 미디어 파사드의 콘텐츠를 분석하고 어떤 형태의 서사구조를 갖는 가에 주목하여 이것을 통해 새로운 미디어 환경에 적합한 콘텐츠의 서사 방식을 미디어 파사드의 적절한 활용 방향으로 제시하고자 한다.
