Tradition of Liberal Education and Harvard Education

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce Harvard's general education in order to provide in sights into problem-solving in Korean higher education. To do this, this paper explored the historical tradition of liberal education and the education system of Harvard University. 1. The education of Harvard University is based on liberal education which is a model integrated knowledge and conduct. 2. The education System of Harvard University is divided into two categories: undergraduate education characterized as 'liberalize' and graduate education as 'deliberalize'. It is believed that the above characteristics of Harvard University's education system can provide insights into the future reform of Koran higher education.
