Objectives: The aim of this study was to review main symptoms of outpatient in Lee young Jun clinics who developed the functional cerebrospinal therapy and to investigate the therapeutic effects on one time application of functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCST). Methods: Patients who visited at least twice at an oriental medical clinic and treated with FCST were included. They were asked to write 216 numeric rating scale (NRS)-based questionnaire about degree of various symptoms at each visit. Prevalence and degree decrease of all reported symptoms were analyzed. Results: Total of 744 outpatients were included. There were fourteen symptoms of which more than half of all patients commonly complained. All symptoms were significantly reduced after one administration of FCST. About four to seven percent of patients reported at least five-point reduction on NRS in each symptom after FCST. Conclusions: FCST might have potential immediate effect on not only TMJ related symptoms, but also diverse kinds of pain, psychological symptoms, and fatigue-related symptoms.

본 증례에서는 발병한지 3개월된 틱장애에 대해 약 7개월 간의 FCST 치료법이 양호한 치료효과가 있는 것을 관찰하였다. 틱장애 증상의 정도는 YGTSS를 통하여 평가하였으며, 1주(${\pm}1$일)간격으로 방문때마다 측정이 이루어졌다. YGTSS 점수가 치료 도중 몇차례 초진 시 측정점수인 24점보다 상승한 적이 있었으나 곧 호전되었으며, 최종 치료 종결시에는 5점으로 초진 점수에 비해 현저하게 호전된 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 그리고 이 호전된 상태는 추적관찰 중에서 2015년 10월 현재까지도 지속되고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 저자는 본 증례를 FCST 치료를 통하여 틱장애를 호전시킨 유의한 증례라고 판단하여 보고하는 바이다.

본 증례에서는 극심한 삼차신경통 진단을 받고 안면부와 턱관절 통증으로 일상생활이 어려워 항간질약과 수술적 치료를 받았지만 통증이 개선되지 않던 환자에게서 음양균형장치를 포함한 자세조절훈련, 침치료 등 구조적 치료를 통해서 유의한 자각적 증상 개선뿐만 아니라 턱관절의 구조적 개선이 나타남을 관찰하였고, 요통과 경항통 및 비염 같은 제반 증상들의 호전과 척추의 구조적 개선이 관찰되었다.

A dizziness case with functional cerebro-spinal therapy (FCST) was reviewed to explore the effect of FCST. The case was managed with Yinyang Balancing Appliance (YBA) and the TMJ Balancing Appliance (TBA), combined with acupuncture, cupping and herbal medicine. Clinical outcome measurement was performed based on subjective measures and clinical observation. The patient showed positive changes starting after the first treatment. Futher clinical and biological research on FCST is expected.

본 증례에서는 MRI상 극심한 요추 척추관 협착증 소견을 받고 요통과 하지 방사통으로 일상생활이 어려워 수술적 치료를 예정 받은 환자에게서 음양균형장치를 포함한 PBT, 침치료 등 구조적 치료를 통해서도 유의한 치료변화가 나타남을 관찰하였고 자각적 통증 및 보행 시간의 호전이 있어 이를 보고하는 바이다.
