Aim & Scope

Journal of the Korean Association for Spatial Structures not only publishes new and novel articles, but also provides a forum for the publication of high quality descriptions of spatial structural engineering problems. This journal seeks to build a vital link between structural engineering practitioners and researchers, a platform for presenting and exchanging design ideas, identifying technical challenges, and showcasing engineered solutions. Topics of interest include: spatial structures; shell structures; innovative structures; stadiums; plates and shells; suspension structures; smart structures. The scope of Journal of the Korean Association for Spatial Structures encompasses, but is not restricted to, the following areas: structural engineering, earthquake engineering; structure-soil interaction; wind engineering; fire engineering; blast engineering; structural reliability/stability; life assessment/integrity; structural health monitoring; multi-hazard engineering; structural dynamics; optimization; experimental modelling; performance-based design; value engineering. Journal of the Korean Association for Spatial Structures also publishes review articles, short communications, discussions, and book reviews related to any aspect of spatial structures.
