Aim & Scope
Animal Systematics, Evolution and Diversity (Anim Syst Evol Divers, ASED) publishes original contributions of systematics, conservation biology, and evolutionary biology with a preference of systematic works such as discovery of new taxa, taxonomic reviews and revisions, phylogenetics and population genetics, biogeography and phylogeography, and biodiversity studies concerning animal taxa of the Korean Peninsula and surrounding areas of East Asia. It is published quarterly (Jan 31st, Apr 30th, Jul 31st, and Oct 31st) by the Korean Society of Systematic Zoology. It has been published since 1985 with a title of the Korean Journal of Systematic Zoology. Its title was changed from the year of 2012 as Animal Systematics, Evolution and Diversity. Publications of this journal are partially supported by funds from the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF). ASED is indexed by the Korea Citation Index (KCI), CrossRef, KoreaScience, DBpia, BIOSIS Previews, Zoological Record, Biological Abstracts and DOAJ.
