Recently, the number of pet owners has been increasing, and considering that the number of single-person households will increase further due to the low birth rate and aging population, the growth of the pet owner population is expected to continue. Accordingly, the pet-based industry is also expanding its base. In addition, as the time spent at home has increased due to COVID-19, the demand for products that help with pet owner care has increased, further maximizing the growth. Along with the growth of the pet-related industry, the size of the pet clothing and supplies market is also increasing explosively. Meanwhile, in relation to pet styling, services that simulate the expected appearance of a pet wearing a specific product are being developed, but services that assist pet owners in styling that is suitable for the physical and psychological characteristics of their pets are insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a pet styling service provision device and method that can solve the problem of owners having difficulty judging whether styling is suitable for the physical and psychological characteristics of their pets by using pet fashion simulation.
