Abstract

A new commerce model using interactive video has been proposed to overcome the limitations and improve the performance of V-commerce and Live commerce that have become the leading shopping trends in the prolonged global untact era. For this, a series of surveys were conducted on the main target group of women in their 20s in order to investigate the limitations of V-commerce and Live commerce as well as to understand the usage status and overall satisfaction level. Among the respondents of the preliminary survey, those who had a high interest in fashion and had experience in using V-commerce and Live commerce were selected for in-depth interviews. Their specific experiences and needs were analyzed through the interview, and the direction of IV commerce was derived based on this. Then, a prototype shopping application was developed to investigate the user satisfaction. It was found that the satisfaction level of IV commerce was higher than those of V commerce or Live commerce.
