Two Cases of Taeeum Person's Nipple Eczema Improved by Korean Medicine

Abstract

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Korean Medicine treatment on nipple eczema. Methods: Two patients were treated with herbal medicine, acupuncture, wet dressing with herbal medicine and pharmaco-acupuncture. Photographs of lesions were taken to evaluate the changes in symptoms. Results: Two patients' pruritus, discharge, crusting, excoriation, erythema, and condition of lesions were improved after treatment. Conclusions: This study shows that Korean Medicine was effective to treat nipple eczema.
