A New Record of Vollenhovia nipponica Kinomura & Yamauchi (Hymenoptera: Formicidae: Myrmicinae) from Korea

Abstract

One species of the genus Vollenhovia Mayr, 1865: V. nipponica Kinomura & Yamauchi, 1992 is described from Korea. Morphological photos for queen of the species are described.

한국산 미기록종인 의태에메리개미(V. nipponica Kinomura & Yamauchi)(신칭)를 최초로 보고한다. 본 종에 대한 형태학적 진단과 사진을 제공한다.
