Spectrally Bounded Higher Derivations Mapping into the Jacobson Radical

Abstract

We obtain commutativity-free characterizations of higher derivations on a unital Banach algebra that map into its Jacobson radical. We also investigate the spectral boundedness of generalized higher derivations.
